In a word, Awful. Promises made not kept. Subpar craftsmanship/workmanship. Warranty 12 mos. is far below industry standards. Had to hire another contractor (to the tune of $13,000) To cleanup issues that they either refused to address or were not capable of fixing. Although the company name is quite fitting "HOMEWORKS" when you get HOME you will be finishing their WORK

We live in a 90 year old home with lead galss windows. We have large french windows at the top of our stairway. We have lived here for 6 years and there has never been a storm window protecting the lead glass. Paul devised a way to install a plexi glass covering that will protect the windows this winter yet is virtually invisble. I had spoken to 3 or 4 guys about any ideas to fix this situation, and nobody could come up with a reasonable idea other than replacing all of the windows. Since I couldn't find a comparable solution, I don't have anything to compare to from a price perspective, but gien this was a custom job and took some time in design and fabrication plus installation, I think the price was very reasonable

He completely revised the opening to make the new door and storm door fit properly. He was on time to the minute. He is extremely hard working, very professional and also really nice. Our entire streets back fence was ruined during a big storm a couple weekends ago. We noticed our neighbor got their fence fixed and we asked them who they used. We called monthly upkeep to fix ours too. They were personable and helpful. I HAVE TO ADMIT I HAD SIGNED WITH ANOTHER COMPANY TO COMPLETE THE ROOFING JOB. GARY CAME AND TOOK A LOOK AT THE ROOF AND IN A FEW MINUTES CAME INSIDE AND MET WITH ME AND GAVE ME THE PRICE OF $4700 FOR 25 YEAR SHINGLES. I STATED THAT I WANTED 30 YEAR DIMENSIONAL SHINGLES, ESPECIALLY THE ENTIRE CERTAINTEED SYSTEM. HE NEXT QUOTED A PRICE OF $5050. THE CONTRACT I SIGNED EARLIER THAT DAY WAS FOR $9145. THANK GOD THERE IS A 3 DAY PERIOD TO CANCEL. I CANCELLED THE NEXT DAY WITH THAT COMPANY. GARY SAVED ME OVER $4000.00 DOLLARS. THE CREW WAS EXCELLENT AND DID THE JOB IN TWO DAYS. I HAVE SIDING ON MY HOUSE SO BECAUSE OF THE 3 LAYERS THERE WAS EXPOSED WOOD. THEY TOOK CARE OF THAT ALSO WITHOUT COST AND POINTED BOTH CHIMNEYS. THE OTHER ROOFING COMPANIES NEVER MENTIONED A PROBLEM WITH THE CHIMNEYS. ONCE IT WAS POINTED OUT TO ME, I SAW THAT THE MORTAR WAS MISSING AROUND THE BRICK. THE ADDITIONAL COST FOR ROTTEN WOOD REPLACEMENT WAS ONLY $85.00. I WILL DEFINITELY USED THEM AGAIN FOR WORK

Mike and his team at Radiant are fantastic. They did a superb job on our house. He is one of the most honest, dedicated and responsible contractors I have ever worked with. He's a perfectionist and we were the beneficiary. The windows were installed with great attention to detail. We weren't sure what color coiling to use on our front bay window so his team hung two colors and let us choose. They did a terrific job on our mudroom which had several beams that tilted off-square. On the estimate he thought we might have to do minor repainting but he was able to do the job so that we didn't have to do any touch up work. We couldn't be happier

he was very careful of existing black top drive way because we just had that done last year...he had the cement truck stay on the road and brought the cement to the garage which was in the backyard and also the dumpster they hired put down wooden boards to protect the driveway when he dropped off the dumpster...they were hard working and did an excellent job and were down in a couple of days and he kept checking back with us all the time during the process...i would hire him again in a minut

The yard was left clean of old materials. We then had them do ceramic tile in three rooms. Once again they were punctual. Picked up the tile, moved and replace all the cabinets. The rooms came out beautiful. The price was the lowest of four bids we received. We highly recommend them

John Moore and his employee Mike were knowledgeable, professional, and respectful of our property. Additionally, I was impressed with John's knowledge, thorough explanations, frequent checking to see if we had questions, and frequently showing me what he was discovering and how they fixed everything. Upon opening up the exterior wall, the real cause of the water damage was discovered, as well as significant water damage. The repairs were significant and included removing & reinstalling siding, replacing rotted section of ledger board, replacing rotted upper and lower seal plates, sister 3 floor joists, replacing damaged pipe, replacing rotted sheeting, reinstalling siding, replacing insulation in basement joist cavities, sealing obs with silicone sealant, replacing rotted kitchen subfloor, and removing & reinstalling dishwasher

First we were provided with a very detailed contract which outlined all the work to be performed complete with itemized charges. The work began on schedule with the workers being on time, courteous & professional. The work area was cordoned with dust barriers & cleaned up at the end of each day. The radiator (which had been knocked over) was removed to facilitate access to the damaged areas. The plaster & lath & 3 part molding was removed (in part to inspect if unseen damage had occurred) & cleared away. Structural beams & damaged facing were replaced as needed. New shingles were then installed on the outside wall. fiberglass batting insulation was then installed between the studs of the wall which was then covered in drywall. The molding was then reinstalled. The seams were spackled & sanded, then the walls & ceiling were painted. Broken pipe from the radiator was removed and replaced with new pipe and new valves were installed as well & the radiator itself was then installed and the system brought up to pressure to test the integrity. No payment was accepted until all work was done to my complete satisfaction. I can't say how I could be happier

,damage due to unusual hail on July 1, 2012. the work went thru aug. , sept, Oct and Nov. they did a great job and were always pleasant to work with. very helpful. cost was covered by insurance company. they stayed within the budget and completed everything needed. the cleanup after each job was terrific. couldn't tell they had been here. everyone we referred to them were also were happy with them and referred them to others

We refused to let them on our roof to remove a shingle and tarp it! Outlined they would have to come and replace the shingle. Our insurance adjuster came out and outlined that it appeared that the roof had been tampered with - but of course could not outline it was the company. No one else had been on our roof other than this company! Hmm. Anyway, they kept hounding us to see if we had heard anything -- when we finally found out the we COULD find the shingle -- they were nowhere in site -- the 'small job for repair' was not worth their time -- never called back once we found that it could be repaired! Thank goodness we did not allow them to simply tarp our roof! I only hope that no one else is duped by this company -- sad state of affairs! If they were an honest company, they would have given us the quote for the 'so called repair' to the roof. > We had another reputable company with a long standing history and A+ rating on Angies list come out to take a look at the roof - and to give us an estimate. They were happy to estimate "current issues' with the roof, as well as quote for an entire re-roof. > Needless to say, we also got one other company to come out and give us estimates. Both companies outlined it appeared that we had intentional damage done to the roof! > Buyer beware of this company
