I called R T Hampton upon recommendation of a friend of mine. This was not an emergency so I set up an appointment for the next day, Friday. Matt, the technician, arrived promptly on time and diagnosed my problem. He cleaned out the main line and since the pump could not be repaired ordered a new sewage ejector pump. Since this was over the Labor Day weekend the pump would not be in until Tuesday. I got a call about 10:30 on Tuesday morning telling me the pump was in and the technician would be at my house in about 40 minutes to install it. Matt arrived within that time frame and installed the pump. He installed a Koehler pump. Installation and pump cost was about $650. The pump comes with a 3 year warranty. Matt is a great person to attend to your plumbing needs. He is punctual, friendly, experienced, knowledgeable, and very professional. I would highly recommend R T Hampton, and especially Matt, for any plumbing repairs you may need.

I had a sewage pump fail with flooding in my basement. The system was installed by the prior owner and I had little information about it. I talked to 6 different plumbers and my city with 4 professionals coming to my house and failing to diagnose the problem. Eventually, I was referred to Harper Well & Pump. Mike was prompt in helping me diagnose the problem over the phone and said he could bring several parts for different potential solutions in the morning. He arrived when he said he would and made surprisingly quick work confirming the problem, replacing a failed sewage pump and its system, and replacing the old worn crock seal. Work was tidy.

They were able to get out much sooner and they called to confirm it was ok and my pump and pressure tank were both replaced within hours. They were very nice. Recent Review: I noticed our basement sump pump was not working. We had a lot of rain over the last several days and thankfully I took the time to check the ****. It was not working and the water level had risen to a point where with more rain forecast we would definitely have a flooded basement. I called mackin and son and left a voice mail. I was very happy when mike the owner called me back very promptly, I explained what I needed and to my surprise and relief he said he could move some staff around so I could expect a person within an hour . True to his word, Dylan showed up and did an excellent job replacing the pump. He was friendly, professional and cleaned up after himself. I’m so impressed with this company. 2 Thumbs way up - great work.
