He came out on a Sunday to install security cameras that took me longer than anticipated to decide which brand to get. Can't say enough good about him. Professional, on time for appointment, took his time mounting the cameras and seems responsive if I have any issues down the road. Would definitely rehire and recommend his service to others!

We were forced to use Monitronics Home Security Systems after being persuaded by a door to door salesman back in 2010 to switch from ADT to PLATINUM PROTECTION(this is who MONITRONICS partnered with). We were told we were signing a 1 year contract and after that could switch if we'd like. They pulled out all of our ADT equipment, left holes we had to patch and repaint and replaced with their GE models of Security equipment. Their boxes/units were so bright and lit up our entire room. We had to put a box over it at night because felt like we had a light on in our bedroom. We then bagain paying our $53.99 per month directly from our checking acct.. Thankfully never needing our security system we paid effortlessly via direct deposit for 4 years diligently. I called them today to explain we need to cancel because we are moving into a condo and will not longer be needing their services. They explained that i should have read the fine print?we had actually signed a 5 year contract and would be forced to pay for the next 9 months whether we will be needing their services or not.. I was sick to my stomach. I asked the customer service rep?people actually are willing to sign 5 year contracts?? I told him we would have never willingly signed a 5 year contract. He replied, "That's how we stay in business." Enough said..

MY HOME WAS DIFFICULT TO WIRE FOR A SECURITY SYSTEM, BUT BOB FORD HAS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. ANOTHER COMPANY INSISTED IT COULDN'T BE DONE ON MY HOUSE AND WANTED TO INSTALL UNSIGHTLY WIRELESS CONTACTS ON MY DOORS AND WINDOW FRAMES. BOB IS ALSO EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WORKED WITH ME TO GET AROUND ANY OBSTACLES. HE TRIES TO FIND WAYS FOR YOU TO SAVE MONEY RATHER THAN TRYING TO SELL YOU EXPENSIVE ADD-ONS. IN ADDITION, THIS IS THE SAME COMPANY THAT MAKES THE ARMORED CARS AND BOTH THE MONITORING AND INSTALLATION SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY BRINKS. FINALLY, THEIR PRICES WERE EXCELLENT

From the time we made the appointment to the time they finished the install it went very well, from the person giving the estimate to the person doing the install. They were all a pleasure to deal with. There wasn't a big mess during the install & anything that might have gotten messy was cleaned up right away. After it was finished the installer showed me some basic things about setting and disarming the alarm system. It's very easy to use. It does come with a quick guide as well as a users manual. We're still messing with the system to see what's works best for our situation. The only issues is the motion detector with our pets in the house. The alarm has gone off a couple of times while out of the house and Gillmore has called right away to report it. It was the same motion detector both times. There was no break in but we assume it was just the pets setting it off. We were never worried, but I called Gillmore about it. They responded very quickly and are sending an installer to see if we can adjust the motion detector to solve that problem. Other than that it works great. If you're looking to install a security system I would strongly recommend Gillmore Security

We could not be happier with Gillmore Security. We received quotes from a couple Residential Security companies and opted to go with Gillmore. Both the sales rep and installer were professional and helpful. We have never had a home security system and thus the salesman spent a lot of time answering questions and explaining how the systems work. He did not pressure us into buying items we did not want, but took the time to explain the pros and cons. He also responded to additional questions via email in the days following. Our final decision on going with Gillmore was based on Angie List reviews and the fact that they were local. We also spoke with a National firm but decided based on equipment being installed that we wanted to go with local. Once the decision was made it was about a week before it was installed. Can not say enough about the installer. We have never had someone as professional as Mike was. He came in, explained what he was going to do and how he would do it. He was the neatest contractor we have had in the house. He cleaned up as he worked. You would never have known he was here. It was amazing. Since the install, we have only forgotten once that the alarm on and we set it off. Our phone was ringing within 10 seconds checking to see if we were ok. Makes us feel safer. Thanks Gillmore

I was searching for a cheaper alternative to home security monitoring. My family and I are on a tight budget, and we could not afford the steep charges from Suddenlink and other local home security providers for their systems. The two things causing the services to be so expensive were: (a) the cost of the monthly phone service we would need, since we don't have home phone service, and (b) the cost of the monitoring itself. We would had to pay about $80 a month, or more with these traditional companies! Thankfully I found NextAlarm after some careful googling. They are a fraction of the price of any of their competitors. Their system appeals to me, because it uses the internet rather than a phone line, saving lots of money. Their monitoring itself (done in the traditional way, with real people in a dispatch office) is also substantially cheaper on top of that. I paid $250 for the home security kit and now I only pay $13.50 per month for the monitoring! Its so cheap that the costs are literally offset entirely by the savings to my homeowner's insurance premium. The support staff at NextAlarm are great. They are so patient, and they will help you with anything related to your system. I have called them numerous times with little questions about this or that, and they are always super nice and knowledgable. They even walk you through how to make changes to your security system, step-by-step, when you want to change delay or change the programs. Please make note of the fact that they do not have a local installer to do the installation. The third-party vendor who offers an and quot;Instal cardand quot; will not be able to install your service in East Texas (they will refund your money once they see where you need the installation). Point being, you will need to hire a local handyman to install the home security system for you. As I already mentioned, I used Stephan du Toit -- (www.facebook.com/professionalhandymanservices). He charged my $60. Besides that little hiccup, NextAlarm is amazing. In summary, I love my service. I hope more people in my area sign up with them. It is such a great deal and they're so great

Everything went great. I got the system a few days later and started to install it. All the devices were easy to put up all told it took about 45 minutes to get up and running. During the install I set the alarm off and Getsafe called me right away. I like the way it looks in my home and by that I mean I hardly notice it is there. I like being able to control the system from my phone and being able to check on my house with the camera when I am away
