Dave while working onsite was willing to answer questions and explain work completed. Porch roof and box gutters look great now with new sealant. Rubber roof looks good and should prevent any future leaks on our low slope and flat roof.

The owner of the company, Jim, spent a lot of time with me in person, phone calls, texts, as I was nervous about putting a roof on during the winter but I needed the leaking to stop. He was patient, kind, and understanding. He even agreed to come back in June to personally inspect the roof to make sure all the shingles adhered when it got warmer! His attention to detail was awesome! You will be very happy if you hire this company!

We called Ray St. Clair Roofing because we had water damage on the ceiling and assumed it was a result of the roof. Since we had recently put an addition on the house. The estimator was very professional. After inspecting the roof, he knew right away what the problem was. He took pictures on the roof so he could easily show us what was wrong and how they would correct the problem. He sent us a bid a few days later and we scheduled the work for 2 weeks after that (seemed a bit lengthy, but I think that was due to all of the storms we've had in the area lately). The only thing I did not like about the experience was that they wanted 20% down before they would even schedule an appointment for the repair work to be completed. I explained this to the office and they agreed to schedule the appointment with me first (I had time constrictions that I needed to make sure could be met before I was willing to engage them).

Great! Travis stopped by and took a look at the attic and the roof cap on top of the house. He outlined how the roof was originally constructed, and the issue that I had with my roof as a result of faulty workmanship by the builder. It all made sense to me, and I asked if he could fix it. After explaining the options, I made my choice, going for the least invasive and most inexpensive option. He agreed to give it a try....to cut open the areas in the attic that were cut off due to felt covering the opening to the cap...and installing end caps on the vent. We selected the day and time. He was in contact and on time that day, and got right to the fix. While working the issue, he unclogged a downspout, caulked the fasteners holding the cap (about 15 yrs old), installed the end caps, and cut away the felt blocking the roof vent. The result has improved attic ventilation and I am happy with the work. I would not hesitate to call Travis and The Blue Roof Company for any future roof or gutter work. Very professional, personable, prompt, and reliable.

Had a roof leak and they were out that day to look at it....It was actually the second time they came out for problems with my roof....They came out more quickly than I had expected and completed the job in a clean professional manner...There was 1 problem with some rain spout and I called them and Bryan came out and it was fixed within a day....I always say, anyone can make a mistake it is how you handle it when it happens that determines the character of you business....

Estimate was very imformative and got an excellent idea from description and pictures what the problem was. Roofers came and fixed the problem and were effecient. The only negative I can respond to is they may want to ease up on their billing. I was told, since I was not going to be present at the end of the job, that they would send me a bill which they did a few days after completition. I paid the bill within 1 week of recieving it but then got another bill marked "past due" less than 10 days after the first- and my check had been cashed. Just saying, relax on the billing.

Recent Review: I've used Weller Roofing for the past 4 years. Chris, his father John and their entire staff have been transparent, honest and hard working throughout the process from quotation to installation. They don't "create" add-on work, or unnecessary work to inflate the bill and add to their profit. What I've paid them has given me peace of mind and has been well worth the price. I've now used them for 2 residential roofs, 1 garage roof, and one 5,000 square foot flat roof commercial roof replacement. The following is an examples are how they've looked out for me; On the commercial project, the existing roof and substructure of (insulation and/or Isoboard) needed to be removed an additional 8" inches from what they originally quoted me. This added nearly a day to their work plus more material. After discovering this, Chris and his father honored the original quote. Not only did they eat the extra labor and material costs, they could have easily covered over the problem area and no one would have known for some time. I also asked them to inspect a main roof after they completed a garage roof installation. The main roof was over 30 feet high, with a decent amount of pitch so I could not get up to see it for myself. The roof is at least 20 years old and they could have easily said it needs to be replaced. Upon inspection, Chris told me that only flashing needed to be updated around the chimney. These are just two examples of their transparency and commitment to getting the job done right. Weller roofing clearly takes the approach that if the job is done right, people will share their experiences and referrals will come. Great business model gentlemen! I understand why you've been success in the business since 1977.

He showed up on time, was thorough, done in a timely manner and the site was completely cleaned up upon completion. When my parents bought a house that need the entire roof replaced, he was the first person we called. Super Service Award Recent Review: Our roof suffered some damage from a hail storm in May 2010. We were contacted by many companies offering to replace it. After much research, we chose to replace our roof with a metal product rather than traditional asphalt shingles. Although more expensive, metal roofing provides better protection and a considerably longer lifespan (basically, you'll never need to replace your roof again, barring major catastrophes). We met with and received quotes from several metal roofing companies in the area and found Bruce Hicks, owner of Distinctive Metal Roofing, to be the most personable and thorough in his explanation of the product and the process. Because of the higher cost of metal roofing, we took a considerable amount of time deciding -- Bruce was patient and responsive in answering our MANY questions! Although he was obviously selling his product and services, we never felt as if we were receiving a "high-pressure" sales pitch -- it was more like he was teaching. When work began, there were a couple of surprises revealed once the old roof was torn off. Bruce was thorough to show and explain what was discovered before suggesting options. The crew was professional and careful from the beginning to the end of the project. We were impressed that two representatives from Kassel and Irons (the product manufacturer) were present for a couple of days to check on and help with the installation. In short, everyone at Distinctive Metal Roofing was beyond helpful, explaining every step of the installation. We are very happy with the investment in our metal roof and know we have a lifetime of protection from anything the weather can throw at us. The results really are beautiful -- friends looking for our home tell us they know they have the right place because it's the best looking roof in the neighborhood. The whole process -- from sales to finish -- was actually an enjoyable experience, something we never thought we would say about installing a new roof.

Recent Review: I had a intermittent roof leak in my living room ceiling. The service rep was courteous and professional and explained that he didn't find any specific problem causing the leak. He sealed the sky light, roof vent and other areas he though could be the problem and explained that if the leak returned, more extensive repairs would be needed. He communicated the problems clearly and laid out a plan to get the problem fixed if it returned.

Recent Review: My wife asked, why are you bothering to contact a roofer from Indiana to do a standing seam metal roof in Eastern Ohio. I told her because this was the only company that I could find that made the roof to order on site. All others came pre-cut and had the potential to be problematic on a very old house. The salesman came on time, told us we were absolutely at the eastern-most end of what he considered his territory, and what made sense travel-wise for his company. He made a very strong case about their workmanship and the quality of their product. After talking with several others who were "installers" we decided to go with Coronet. They showed up on the appointed date with 4 workers, and their machine to make the roofing panels on a large trailer. Our roof needed some structural adjustment in order to to be flat, and they were prepared to make those repairs. Indeed, they felt they had to do this in order to be able to install their roof. They made the neccessary structural changes. They put on the roof as planned. They needed to remake some edge pieces that they brought pre-made. They tried to rent a metal bender, but those available at tool rental places were inadequate to do the job. They found a metal shop in a nearby city that was able to properly bend the pieces that were needed. They installed a beautiful standing seam metal roof on our 1830s house. It took them two days. They used a magnet to pick up every minute piece of metal in our grass around the house. The roof is beautiful. They did an outstanding job. We could not have chosen a better company. They solved every problem they encountered. The workmen were knowledgeable and professional. The roof has been in place for one and a half year and it looks as if it had just been installed yesterday. The material used was thicker than most metal roofs. The coating is guaranteed not to fade. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending this company based upon the work that they did at our home.
