Very professional always on time Chad and his brother Joe painted a bedroom, bathroom, hallway, kitchen, and two toned my living room they had to deal with wall paper and repair the walls They also installed new flooring in every room listed above I bought my bathroom floor at lowes . When it came time for lowes to install it their contractor said he could not do the job because of the contour of walls meeting the floor lowes sent some one out before hand also I called Chad He came out took a look And installed the floor the next day And it looks beautiful I am so glad I didn't take the flooring back Great JOB CHAD AND JOE One bedroom to go and they will definitely be coming back THANKS Phil Willham

Did an excellent job installing the flooring. Made good suggestions on proper flooring to use in this 3 season room where temp can get quite low during winter, although not freezing, and where pets spend some time. Excellent! The owners, Katie and Jim, were involved in every aspect of our project. They communicated frequently and were incredibly professional and supportive of us being 100% happy with our new floors. Prior to finding them, we had tried to do business with 3 other reputable floor companies here in Cincinnati and were completely discouraged (not returning phone calls, losing our floor measurements, not showing up for appointments, making a commitment to install floor tile that was out-of-stock...). Finding Floors International was a huge relief. Katie brought samples to my home, helped me make a decision and the floors were installed 3 weeks later. The gentlemen who installed the floors were perfectionists and did an amazing job. I could not be happier. My bathroom floors are gorgeous.

Sullivan's Maintenance and Restoration
Everything went really well. Bill and Sherwood arrived at the time I expected and worked diligently all day the first day and half of the second day. They moved my stove and one counter out and carefully took out the existing toe boards. Next, they removed the top layer of sheet linoleum, found the spots that were not level across the entire floor and put leveler over those spots. After that dried they started laying the floor and cutting the tiles around cabinets and door spaces. They were really accurate in their cutting and there are no visible gaps along the walls. On one door I had an existing gap and they cut into the existing door floor board and cut a small piece of tile to go under that so no gap would remain. They put the toe boards back in and moved the stove, cabinet and refrigerator back into the correct spaces. They did no damage as they moved items. I am really pleased with the final result.

The Handyman Co. did a wonderful job on all the work we needed done. They were prompt, and Joe Roberts was very informative and helpful in the process. I'm in the Army, and I'm having to move so we needed to get some repairs done on the home so that we can get the house on the market, and when I started calling around and getting estimates I quickly figured out that these folks seemed to have the best and most fair price of all the contractors that came out to visit. They did an excellent job taking care of our kitchen, both the ceiling and the floor, and I couldn't have asked for more. They were professional, honest, and they all appeared not only quite skilled but also very experienced. My wife and I very much appreciate all the hard work and effort they put into the job. Initially they had thought it would only take a day to get done, but even though things took a bit longer and most of a second day they stayed on price with the estimate, and did what needed to be done to get the job done. I couldn't possibly recommend this company any higher. Bar far the best experience I've ever had with anyone doing work on our home. Thank you again guys, we very much appreciate all your effort.

I had two problems that I needed taken care of: my sump pump would not shut off and was running continuously and my bathroom floor was getting weak in places due to a water leak somewhere. When I called Jim up and described the problems, he came out himself to take a look and make an estimate. After he explained his estimate and I agreed, he replaced the sump pump right away and repaired a plastic vent pipe leading to the pump. He finished the job in less than an hour after arriving. He was friendly and knowledgeable, explained in detail to me what he was going to do and answered my questions. The bathroom repair was a bigger job. Jim made an estimate of what it would take and discussed the options with me on what to do with the floor. We then agreed on a time and date for that work to begin. Kenny came out to do the bathroom repair work. He showed up on time. He was also friendly and courteous and explained exactly what he was going to do. He quickly located the water leak and only had to cut one hole in the wall directly behind the toilet. I had originally thought the damage was due to a broken wax seal on the toilet and had replaced that myself a few months earlier. It turns out that the leak was due to a nail that had punctured the pipe when the house was built 10 years earlier! The nail had punctured the pipe in between the metal shield plates on a double stud and had caused a very slow leak. In hindsight, there were various minor signs of a leak in years past, but I had not been able to locate the cause. Kenny quickly repaired the pipe, replacing the punctured section. He then repaired the drywall and replaced the chip-board in the floor with plywood. He also repaired my toilet shutoff valve and a couple of nail pops at no extra cost. Over the next day and a half he tiled and grouted the floor. I'm happy with the new floor and the work that he did and I was very relieved at how quickly he found the source of the problem.

Three workmen were here over the 3 day period. All were polite and professional. Rodney is very meticulous about installation being even and looking good. I was very pleased with the results and cleanup. They worked with my schedule to complete the job before Memorial Day. They lagged a bit behind the ETA they gave me each day, but worked hard when they got here and completed the job timely.

The selecting, measuring & quoting process was fine, they have a very large selection of flooring options to choose from at their showroom in Mason, and they sent someone to our home in Hyde Park prior to providing the estimate. Installation was scheduled about 1 week after we had accepted the bid. The guys that did the installation were neat & did a good job with installing the floor and one of the doorway transition pieces. The second doorway transition they did not install that day because they needed to get a different piece to fit that space... someone came back a week after that & installed that, but we were not satisfied with that - it was loose and the transition height difference to the tile floor was not addressed. We are still waiting for this part to be corrected (the guy that had installed it has been back to our house to look at what is wrong, he is supposed to be coming back to fix it once & for all, but that is still not scheduled.) Additionally, we had two electrical outlets in the floor that after they put down a layer of plywood & the new floor, caused the plugs to be so much higher than the service box that they were outside of the box & surrounded by only the wood floor. I understand that the guys installing floors are not electricians, and I took care of adding an electrical box extension & longer screws so that the plugs would not move - you can debate whether or not this is the responsiblity of the new floor installation crew... Assuming that they get the transition piece installed correctly we will be happy - but it did take a very long time and a lot of extra follow up chasing!

Recent Review: We had our carpet professional remove carpet that had been placed over a cherry wooden floor in a kitchen. The kitchen floor adjoins a foyer entryway that includes more cherry wood flooring. Fabulous Floors brought in a few flooring professionals to refinish the floor - including sanding, resurfacing and adding wooden trim. They did a good job except for an area where the floor lacquer looked "poured on" and uneven. It took some time, but they finally returned to work on that area again. Although the area with the uneven surface wasn't fixed quite as well as we might expect, the overall job made the flooring look nice.

Super Service Award Recent Review: I hired Joe to replace damaged laminate flooring and fix the drywall/flooring in my utility room and could not be more pleased with the results. I've hired Joe for many projects throughout the years and he always delivers fantastic results. I've found that with working with Joe, he has your whole house in mind. While replacing the drywall in my utility room, he found 2 water leaks and fixed those as well. Finding and fixing those leaks saved me from further damage down the road! Other contractors I've worked with previously would have ignored those, causing me to have to redo the same work over again in the future. It's comforting to know that when hiring Joe, you are getting a contractor that cares about his customers and isn't just taking the fastest/easiest route to completing the job.

Recent Review: George did an awesome job, again! 1880's house had buckled floor from bad wall support in basement. The posts were replaced, and George made sure they were level, and shimmed them till they were perfect. The floor, with a little persuasion, went back the way is should have been. It's was that way since we have owned the house, for 34 years. Much to our relief, we can now put the sub floor in and have our new flooring installed without worrying how we could get around this major problem. George to the rescue!

I purchased wide plank T&G flooring from Cali Bamboo, underlayment and glue through Amazon. I removed the carpet and prepped the floor before Finishing Touches arrived. I opted to reinstall the old baseboard, which resulted in significant savings Positives: Getting the bid was quick, painless and fairly priced compared with other bids for the same job. - I ended up choosing Finishing Touches based on a friends' recommendation. The bid included varying options, such as owner removal of carpet and owner installing baseboard instead of just adding shoe molding for an additional cost. Negatives: They showed up both days about 30 minutes later than expected. The installation overall, looks very good. Maybe 4 or 5 very minor chips over 800 sq ft of flooring. There is one spot on the floor that has a very small air gap under a plank. You can hear air being pushed out when you step on it. One corner in the den doesn't quite come close enough to the wall so you can see a sliver of a gap between the baseboard and flooring. There were a couple pieces that were pulled while being installed plus a couple flawed pieces from Cali Bamboo. The bottom line: we ran out of flooring and I had to order another box. This delayed the final installation a few weeks. I ordered the number of square feet in the bid rounded up to the next box. But we still came up short. Stuff happens, but I thought I should add it to the report. I should qualify these negatives. You really have to be looking hard to see them. Summary: The workers went above and beyond on a lot of little things. They created a very nice threshold to the sliding glass door. The advice to keep the flooring running in the same direction between two rooms that form an L shape was spot on. They also helped with a few baseboard cuts that would have taken me a couple hours but they did in about 15 minutes. The workers were surprised that I purchased the flooring - unpacked and stacked it to acclimate, per Cali Bamboo instructions even though that was the plan from the beginning. The workers also were inclined to nail the flooring down instead of a floating floor install. Floating floor install was the original plan and how it was done (top floor condo unit), but I'm glad I was there to make sure that the flooring wasn't nailed down as I'm not sure this was communicated to the crew.
