Cincinnati Bathroom Vanity Installation

I removed my bathroom sink and vanity so that I could lay ceramic tile. The cabinet was on legs, not flush with the floor, so it was necessary to remove the cabinet (unless I cut the tile all kinds of ways to fit around the legs which seemed to be a pain and less attractive in the end). The cement board under the tile and the tile itself raised the vanity 1/2", so I had to purchase an extender for the pipe, but I was unsure how much to cut off of the extender and was pretty much unsure of how to put the sink and vanity back so that the pipes under the sink didn't leak. Dave came out to look over the existing pipes and the vanity to see if the project could be done. The vanity is from IKEA, and is has two large drawers instead of an open cabinet, so the pipe needed to be closer to the wall than with normal cabinets. Dave was skeptical of IKEA cabinets (rightfully so, since their furniture is very different than what you get at Home Depot or Lowe's and you can only get replacement parts from IKEA). We made an appointment for him to come back the next week to do the install. He brought another gentleman, Mark, who was his apprentice. They were both very polite and professional and got the sink and vanity installed properly in about an hour. They didn't leave a mess and the sink doesn't leak, so I am very pleased. I will use this company in the future.

During a remodel of our bathroom, I decided to move the vanity over a few inches and, in the process, replace a water supply pipe that leaked occasionally in the past. My welding capabilities, however, are pretty limited, and it was a very tight space ... so I totally butchered the job and decided to call a professional instead to help fix it. I got on Angie's List and saw their Big Deal with Tarvin Plumbing ($54 for one hour of service), and they were able to send someone out later that day to make the repair. He sweated my sloppy joint, installed new pipes and joints, and had everything working in less than an hour ... and he even allowed me to stay in there and learn from him, patiently explaining everything that he was doing so I could do it again myself next time. The parts he used were about double ($17) of what I could've gotten them for at a big box store, but that's to be expected when they're delivered and installed in person. Overall, great response, service, and I'm very satsified!

Cody was great. After squeezing us in to meet our deadline, Cody did a great job taking on our project even with a couple of curve balls including a corroded current faucet and broken water valve.

Dave arrived on time & was very friendly, keeping me updated on everything that was being done. He replaced a part in the kitchen faucet...works perfectly. The drain also runs perfectly. We had a downspout that was dangerous to get to but was obviously clogged. He unclogged the downspout and then cleaned another gutter that needed it (all in pouring rain!). Then he repaired and replaced a broken board on a bathroom vanity. We hadn't originally called him out for that but he was able to repair it even though the cabinet was installed wrong when the house was built.

At first I thought the repair to the floor was great. That is until I was cleaning and noticed the soddy work of repacing the base board and toe strip. The painter spilled paint on the floor. They painted over patches that were not dry and the one behind the bathroom vanity sunk. I would never I repeat never refer them to anyone.

Everything went very well. I really like Don, who is personable, professional, and really tries to solve problems for you. He was very honest and explained everything about my options and the potential steps and complications that each one would entail, which I appreciated; some providers just inform you what they would do and don't really explain. It turned out that given the problems with removing my vanity, I'm not going to have it done right now, but that's not a reflection on Don. I will definitely be calling him when the time is right, and for any other plumbing needs we might have until then!

Wayne the estimator was very nice to work with. He listened to what I wanted and explained the options. He was very prompt with getting back to me with a written estimate. The date and time to do the install was quickly set up and accommodated my work schedule. The two plumbers who came to do the install were awesome: knowledgeable, professional, quick, and cleaned up everything.

All the work was done professionally and was very detailed and cared about the work. My contractor was Brian and he explained every detail. I most def will be calling on Brian for my next project.
