Cincinnati Inground Pool Installation

Everything went as planned. Eastgate was great to work with. Special thanks to our salesman Craig & our construction manager Drew. They were awesome.

They were excellent. The work was done quickly and everything was put back in place. The quality of the top soil and the rock they used was really good. It was a much lower cost than the other estimates I received.

Went very well. Stayed till all work was finished. Good job. Joe does his work as if it were for his house. Great to work with.

The service was so good the first time that we had them come back for the pool and the patio. They did a great job. Shane did such a great job and they put rebar down even. They did all the work preparing the ground and he was just a pleasure to work with.

All of my expectations were exceeded, they were responsive and when things got ugly they really rose to the occasion- the care and pride in their work was gratifying, and they did a lot of detail work that I never expected, including ripping out my old skimmer, and running my lines under the patio.. (in a very clever solution) I couldn't be happier- they were crazy thorough and finished within my budget.

Wonderful people to deal with. One main person to deal with comes out to the site on multiple occasions to help plan for the pool. Everything proceeded as scheduled. They took us uneventfully through the entire pool installation. Gave a wonderful in service regarding operation of the pump and chemicals for the pool. Provided a great company to do all of the electrical work, also was done in a very timely fashion. All in all a pleasant company to deal with.

They were able to fix the problem the very next day. They had to dig a minor swimming pool outside to reach the junction box. when it was fixed they filled in the hole and put the landscaping back as best they could. They then came into the house and capped off the system so this issue would not happen again. When the bill came it was for just over $800 dollars, I was expecting the bill to be several thousands of dollars. We are so thrilled with how much lower the bill was than expected. They came today also to fix a clogged sink and toilet. They were able to fix in about 45 minutes. They are wonderful to work with. When I call them I know the job will be done right and at a reasonable price.

Gavin and his team are absolutely fantastic! He was quick to respond and come out and give me a quote, which was WAY under the prices I had quoted from other companies and he did more work. He was very good with communication and would let me know what they were doing when, and responded quickly to emails from me throughout the entire process (which was 2 months long) with any questions I had. Even while working he was very helpful with my multitude of questions and explained the process to me step by step which made it easy to understand what would be happening to my yard. My yard now looks better than ever and I am so happy I found G&A to take care of my needs.

I received a very competitive proposal last fall and set up for completion of all work by May 15th. The work had many challenges as access to the pool was very difficult and stabilizing the deck was a challenge. They completed the work on time. The job planning and clean-up were exceptional.

We called Auxier (pronounced Ox-Sure) and requested a quote for an in ground pool removal and fill in. Two days later, Greg came out to review the project. After two weeks, no quote has been provided. If they did not want to do the job, or were too busy, telling the customer would have been helpful. I am told no-shows, no-quotes, no-works are typical in the construction industry. Evidently I have been spoiled by working with responsible contractors in the past. Somehow I feel the ''Ox-Sure'' pronunciation is correct. I view an ox as a dumb lumbering beast who will plow your field for you, if you rope them by the nose and get their attention. ''Ox-sure'' will probably come out and perform heavy lifting for you, if you get their attention, My wife and I have an acronym for A.U.X.I.E.R... A=Absent U=Unavailable X=X-cluding I=Invisible E=Elusive R=Removed, I will update this report if new information becomes available.

Larry Spivey Concrete enlarged my driveway and poured a lot of concrete (4 truck loads!). They arrived at the crack of dawn and worked all day for 2 days straight. Since concrete is very weather dependent, they were able to get started on my job on friday instead of the following week. My husband was out of town for the weekend, and was happily surprised when he returned to a finished driveway. Larry was very helpful and knowledgeable, and also suggested a couple decorative changes than what I originally had in mind. They did a great job working around an existing basketball goal, and also dug a bit wider for me since I need to add some drain pipe along the side of the driveway, saving me a ton of hand-digging. Another concrete company had poured some concrete in the front of one of our garages, when they damaged the blacktop while filling in our swimming pool this past summer (long story). When Larry saw the swirl finish of that concrete, he asked if I wanted the remainder of the driveway done in the same design. At first I said yes, because it was a pretty pattern and would match, and I hadnt seen that particular pattern since I was a child. He then informed me that there is a reason people do not use that pattern anymore, because it tends to entrain air in the surface and causes it to pop up over time. I am glad he told me that, so we chose to use a different pattern for the remainder of the driveway... I would much rather it last the test of time. They also did their best to match up the joint lines with the other company's, even though the other company's line was not parallel to the driveway edge :/ They did a fantastic job, and Larry was very informative about everything they were doing along the way, and was sure to ask my opinion on any changes he considered, no matter how small (the other company didnt bother to ask me anything such as my finish preference, size or location of the slab, etc.). They did a beautiful job and I will most certainly use them for any future concrete work. They also did a large driveway last year around the corner from our house, which is how I got his name (I knocked on their door), and they also are very happy with it.

Quality of work was not there. They were hired to do several things for my Mother and then did not like when they were asked to fix the mistakes - firepit was crooked and uneven, fence that was to be tied into another line of fencing didn't come close to matching. It took a couple of days for them to come back out since they were no-call, no-shows (fence is still not correct to what it was supposed to be and while the fire pit is more level, it's not quality work at all). This is on top of being told their mulch would be "weed free" for a certain amount of time and its already growing weeds (likely due to the fact THEY DIDN'T EVEN LAY PAPER UNDER IT) and it has only been a couple of weeks since it was laid. They were to also dig a hole for an above/under ground pool that's going about 2ft in and did not complete that either before pulling the disappearing act. The first couple of days they were timely in showing up then after that all **** broke loose and the quality, professionalism, and work ethic went out the window and in its place came excuses, pettiness, and unprofessionalism. If you hire this company - BEWARE!!! You will spend more time fixing their mistakes than you would if you just did the job yourself. **We have photo evidence of every claim PLUS more! **

I needed a person to repair a swimming pool in mid-August. Tom Shields came out, explained what needed to be done, seemed to understand what he was doing and I agreed to hire him. He promised me the job would be completed - no problem before labor day you will be putting water in your pool. He showed up and worked Thursday / Friday. I paid him 700 dollars. He showed up the next week and worked. I paid him 1000 dollars. He worked Monday and Tuesday the next day, and on Tuesday he asked me for 400 dollars so he could pay his helpers. I paid him that money. That was my mistake. On a job that was supposed to be done for 2800 dollars he had now gotten 2100. He took the next day off because of a dentist appointment. Then came the labor day weekend. He showed up that Tuesday alone, did some cleanup for a few hours and left. He never worked again on my property. The next week I contacted him and he told me he would be there on Friday, finish installing my pool coping and would do the tile on Monday and Tuesday. He never showed up. 10 Days later he promised to be there the next day. He never showed up. Then it was the next week. He promised to be there on Wednesday and never showed up. four weeks and I had had enough. I texted him over the weekend and pleaded with him, "If you're not going to finish the job, let me know because it's October and I need to get a cover on my pool, I'll hire someone else if you don't plan on doing it." He promised to be there on Monday but it rained. Today he messaged me and said he had some stops to make but he was bringing a crew and would be here all day. but he never showed At this point he managed to cheat me out of money for work that wasn't done. He's failed to show up and complete the job for four weeks.
