Acosta's crew arrived as scheduled and put in several hours of intense and non-stop work. (The lot is about an acre, and hasn't been cared for very well in at least 3 years.) They were very conscientious and did an excellent job, even cleaning areas that I probably wouldn't have noticed (e.g., behind bushes, etc.). They made sure that I had the chance to walk the yard with them twice--about midway through the work and, again, when they were done--to be sure everything I'd expected had been done. Actually, they did more than I'd expected. The yard has never looked this good! I will definitely call Acosta's again.

Terrible. Took forever for company to return call. Scheduling was difficult. Supposed to power rake front and back yards, aerate front only. Ended up aerating front and back, power raked front only. Front aeration was terrible. Had to show owner bad results of workers, including bare spots and other spots with loose dead grass. Owner re-raked front and did the back yard. He said he over-seeded bare spots, but no seeds were evident. Owner told me to delay fertilizing/weed control due to scheduled overs seeding. Because it took over a month to complete a very small residential job, it resulted in very late fertilizing and weed control application by myself. As a result, I have now have a lot of various weed issues that have never existed in past seasons. And to top it off, there was no evidence of any seeding done. The only consolation was that he took a bit off the price.

Very responsive. The same day I called to get an estimate, an estimate was provided. They asked if I needed to be home when they came to check out the property to put together an estimate. I wanted to be home so that I could show them everything that I wanted to have done for clean up. The appointment was scheduled for the same day (2-3 hours later). When it came time for the service (scheduled for 1 week after the estimate), the crew arrived promptly in the morning. The gentleman that provided the estimate also arrived and walked the crew around the yard explaining everything that we had discussed. He left and the crew got started. He came back later in the day to check on the progress. The following day he stopped by to check on progress and ask how I liked the work. The job lasted 2 full days. They were very thorough. This was by far the best company we have used for spring clean up. Once they were done, they made sure all of the walkways and the driveway was cleaned up of any residual mulch/clippings. The weeding of all of the beds was very thorough before the mulch was put down. I would highly recommend NLD for spring clean up.

Joe's communications were excellent. Because of the rainy weather, I had some very soggy, wet areas in the lawn, and we postponed the job until we felt the lawn could handle his equipment. When we finally decided to go ahead, Joe's people showed up when he said they would, no surprises. They were courteous, diligent, did a terrific job, and were neat as pins. The cleanup was outstanding. The lawn and beds have never looked better.

Fantastic work. I contracted the work while it was still winter. There was no fixed date when the work would be done. It depended on when the snow cleared and the ground softened. Recent Review: Ok. Guy that showed up cleaned out roof valleys. I assume he checked the gutters, but no debrief after he was done to be sure. Couldn’t find the skylights and once he did .... didn’t have the right “ladder” to clean. I don’t think he wanted to clean.

He was very professional, polite and friendly, and very kindly came out for an estimate and then obliged my request to please perform the work the next day. He and his wife did an excellent job! It turns out that this is an entrepreneurial husband and wife team running this lawn service company. That made me feel even better about my decision to hire them, as opposed to some national corporation or bigger company who might not appreciate the business. I would highly recommend Mr. Rojas for his professionalism and excellent work and would absolutely call on him again in the future.
