Chicago Window Insulation Companies

Replaced all my windows in my condo. Pulled out the old aluminum windows, installed new windows , insulated around them, cleaned up after the job was done.

Did very well. adrian showed up on time and worked well.Adrian found a window on sale and passed the savings to me, that showed me how honest he was. Hope that Adrian can stay professional.

Andre's team was efficient and courteous. The price was reasonable and the quality of the work was great. I had no issues with our experience and would hire Gree Attic again. Our children's room was much warmer after the work was completed.

Gordon was prompt and professional. He inspected my windows quickly and made an honest assessment of my windows and told me that the windows themselves were the cause of the heat loss, and the insulation would have little to no effect on the energy loss. He advised me on some different courses of action I could take that would be cost effective, and advised me to have Angies List refund me the $149 fee since there was nothing he could do for the window insulation to help. I greatly respected Gordon for being honest with me and I was happy to hear that his company is doing well. Always reassuring to hear that honest contractors are doing well in our economic climate. He informed me that there are many other contracting jobs he is capable of doing, and since I'll be moving in the not-too-distant future, I'm sure I will be giving a call to G.R. General Contracting in short time.

I decided not to use them to get the work done. I am sure they would have done a wonderful job, but their proposal was over twice as much as the second bidder. I then ended up with a really great contractor. They seemed a little bit pushy. They were absolutely professional and pretty responsive to my questions. I might consider getting a quote from them for a smaller job. I am sure they are worth it, but not that much worth. So I wouldn’t use their services again.

We called Energy 360 first about windows as they sell the Serious Materials brand. Jim came over a few days later to show us some windows and get measurements. He was very knowledgeable about the windows. We went back and forth with emails to decide what we wanted to do. His responses were good, but not always timely. In his defense, we were not prompt with responses either and were in no hurry to get these windows. We decided to go with the Serious Fiberglass slider windows. We replaced the two windows in the master bedroom and a small bathroom window. Serious had a backlog at their factory so we had to wait about 2 months before they were ready. Energy 360 came to install the windows, they were here for several hours to do the work. They did a good job of sealing/insulating around the windows and the windows are amazing. We didn't realize they would be flush with the wall giving us no sill. My wife was not crazy about the idea, but I like it. My wife also missed the fact that the bathroom window will not open. There was a miscommunication in there, but that might be my fault. The windows were $5,050. The fiberglass windows are expensive, but they look nice and have amazing U values. In the winter, the windows are warmer than the walls. We also had Energy 360 come in to seal and insulate our attic and seal around the floors in the basement to stop air from traveling through our walls. They used a spray foam to seal everything and blew in about 2 feet of cellulose insulation. They did a blower door test before and after to show the difference it made. This was $1,250. We also had an independent energy auditor come in before we did any work on the house and a follow up after making a bunch of improvements. He commented on the how well they did with the windows and insulation.

Great. They removed the old window and the exterior and interior trim, added insulation and then put in the new window, replaced new trim and caulked all round. Done in a day and cleaned up well. I would most definitely use them again.

Removed, re-insulated and installed 9 windows. Showed up on time and completed the job in 1 day. Left the site neat and clean. Was extremely easy to do business with and had reasonable pricing.

They were very courteous. Always on time. I contacted them in November and they kept in touch with me through all of the bad weather we'd been having. They cleaned up everything after they finished work and even walked the site with me to get my approval on the finished job.

Everything went quickly and smoothly. Bob arrived in the time window he promised and worked very efficiently. He seemed knowledgeable and thorough. I recommend this company.

Power has been a fantastic company to work with and their products are amazing. I bought my first home knowing I had to do several updates. I had a less than stellar person do the siding and gutters. I had Power redo original windows and after discussing all that is wrong with the siding and gutters, got a great offer from them to redo. While I hate redoing something only a couple of years old, my peace of mind knowing that Power will do it correctly and with great products is priceless. Their energy efficiency products are top of the line. Their communication and work is great too. On time, super clean, full review of everything before they leave. They have a great reputation for a reason. They care about making their customers happy and have those customers repeat. Highly recommend Power! The installers, other workers and helpers were exceptionally professional. They arrived as scheduled, were courteous, explained everything well , and responded respectfully to any requests we had. However,,,,,KRAZ is a 'knock on your door' , hard sell company. For that reason, I would not hire them again. It was so bad initially when the sales person came by to demonstrate the windows and their services that I walked out of the room, telling him to leave before I got more angry. Several conversations on the phone with his boss/supervisor sounded like tough cop/nice cop. The initial exorbitant price was slashed by 75%. I knew the first quote was crazy high. They do good work, but I went through way too much. Reviews on YELP echo my experience. If you want to tough it out with the sales person, KRAZ can do the job.

It went very good overall. They arrived on time. They put plastic up to cover the windows and one wall which was not being insulated. They then sprayed the insulation onto the walls. Then they cleaned up. It tool about 1.5 hours, which is what they estimated it would take. They showed up about 15 minutes early, and were very nice and friendly. The insulation seems good.

Great. They were able to answer all my questions in a timely/honest manner. We did not want to add insulation to one wall since we will be replacing the window on that wall and reconfiguring the window size. They worked out a solution that minimized the double expense but air sealing to maximize comfort.

Insulated windows were installed in less than 3 hours. We had 3 very large windows to be soundproofed! Workers were very professional. Worked quickly, cleaned up afterwards. Sounds from outside are almost completely gone now! We would recommend them and use them again.
