MOONSHOWER SPRINKLER SERVICE
We used Moonshower for the first time this year, and our system is working better than it has in a long time. We contacted Darrell because the controller for one of our sprinkler zones was not working properly. He quickly fixed the problem with zone and then inspected the rest of the system. He repaired a leak in one of the pipes, uncovered a couple of sprinkler heads that were overgrown with grass, and adjusted a few sprinkler heads. He is knowledgeable, thorough and has fair pricing.

Carefree Lawn Sprinklers Inc
The technician was very friendly and explained the entire process as he diagnosed the problem. Once the problem was identified, Carefree repaired the parts on site and checked the rest of the sprinkler system to make sure the rest was properly working. Even after the repairs were completed the technician helped me set up a new program for my sprinkler system and explained how my Hunter sprinkler system worked. Overall, I was very impressed with Carefree and will continue to use again in the future.

Greenfield Lawn Sprinkler Systems Inc
The sprinkler system was installed over 10 years ago by the previous owners. Now that the landscaping is fully in, the system was under sprinkling some areas and completely missing other areas. This past year I lost several bushes before I realized what was happening. Martin and his crew put in much taller heads to reach over the landscaping, different kinds of heads in some areas (sprayers rather than rotating heads) and completely rerouted heads in several zones. It took them 3 days to complete the work (one day they were only here a couple of hours due to thunderstorms). I believe it was more difficult than putting in a brand new system. What a difference it has made! Earlier in the summer I had Martin add a rain sensor to our system ($170). That has also been great especially with the amount of rain we've had this summer. I'm sure I will make up for the cost with the amount of money I save on not watering on rainy days. I've used Greenfield for several years now. My only "problem" is as their reputation grows, they are getting busier and busier so it takes a little longer to get them.

It has always worked well, and any wear and tear of the system, changing of sprinkler heads, etc. has always been taken care of promptly and professionally. They turn the sprinkler system on in the spring, "blow it out" in the fall, and are available for maintenance throughout the spring-summer-fall seasons. Fred Salinas an an associate showed up on time. He was very professional. He should me everything that was wrong before he did anything. He also made sure that I was ok with replacing the defective parts within the system. He also took the time to reprogram the sprinkler system so that we wasted as little water as possible. At the end, he made sure everything was working the way it was supposed to. They took about 90 minutes to finish all of the work. I am very happy and would gladly use Mr. Salinas' services again. I will be calling him in October to shut the sprinkler down.

Recent Review: Baltazar spent almost 3 hours working on our sprinkler system. He moved 5 rotating nozzles that were located too close to the sidewalk/driveway. He replaced a valve for one watering zone and upgraded two nozzles to improve watering coverage. He located our ‘missing’ control box which we knew existed but could never find because it was buried under 2 inches of dirt in the front landscaping! We also had the backflow preventer certification scheduled by him with a plumber he works with. . . and the guy came the following day! Baltazar even provided us with hints and tips on maintaining our system. We also hired him last year to repair a leak. Highly recommend him!

Recent Review: I used this company last year during the summer to install a complete sprinkler system. Things started off wrong since the beginning but I had already given the owner 50% of the total cost of the project. I was scheduled for May and Jesus kept rescheduling me at the last minute. My project was not completed until 2 months later in July. He forgot to install the rain sensor and my sprinklers were turning on while it was raining. He did come back after several calls to install the rain sensor but did not properly conceal the cable and left it on the surface of the grass. It could have been easily cut while doing spade edging on the grass. I had to repair this issue myself. During installation they cut the DirecTV cable but since I have a protection plan with DirecTV that was not a big issue. One of the sprinkler heads was damaged and even though he was informed in August he never replaced it. He did the blow out during fall and he still did not replace the sprinkler head. It was not until this winter that the major damage was discovered. I have an electrical line that runs through the east rear side of my property. This line supplies a 240 volt electric heater in my dinning room that is used during winter. When I tried to turn the heater on in December it did not work. I called an electrician to diagnose the issue and discovered there was a break in the electrical wire around the area the sprinkler pipes were installed. He completely destroyed 10 ft. of electrical conduit while using heavy machinery to install the sprinkler pipes. I had informed him during the project to be careful in that area and only dig by hand. I am sure they noticed what they had done. 10 feet of conduit pipe vanished and he did not have the decency to repair the damage or inform me of the damage they had done. It was significantly more difficult to repair the damage during the winter since the soil is frozen. I called him to request his company to send someone to repair the damage or reimburse me. He never sent anyone so I had to hire an electrician. I paid the electrician out of my own pocket. Now, he ignores my calls and messages when I attempt to contact him for reimbursement for the damages. Please do not trust this company. If they damage your property they will not repair the damages. They are not reliable or professional.
