Recent Review: I could not be more pleased with my experience with Goode Plumbing. I literally don't know anything about plumbing and they took care of everything from start to finish and helped me understand along the way. The customer service representative that I spoke to on the phone regarding scheduling was very helpful and patient with me. Develle was the actual plumber who showed up and he was super professional and knowledgeable about the work. He took one look at the sump pump I had and was able to date it almost exactly. He also knew that I needed a new one, but he did not try to up-sell me on the product. He simply gave me the facts and let me decide, which I appreciated since it was an expense I was not expecting. Needless to say, I followed his advice and the peace of mind I have now overshadows the unexpected cost. That said, I thought the cost was very fair for the actual product and labor. Overall, I would totally use Goode Plumbing again!!

Recent Review: Replaced all copper lines, new breaker box and electric replacing old fuse box and electrical lines. Put in new pvc drainage for A-Coil & Humidifier. Put in new base under outside unit . Took time to explain procedure . Courteous at all times. Removed all old parts & boxes . Left work area clean when done. Did a check on system before they left and said it was good to use. With Cosco & ComEd discounts beat 2 other estimates I had.

Recent Review: I have used Lifeline a couple of times. Last winter, they did a HUGE project for us - excavated our driveway, put in two check valves on our sewer line, installed an ejector pump - now there is NO water backing up into our home because the sewers are too full from heavy rains. They were great on that job. Recently, we decided to call them when one of our sump pumps was acting strange. And, as expected, they were very responsive, on-time and professional. I have met a few plumbers who work for Lifeline and the owner. Everyone is very nice and explains what is going on and what needs to be done. I never feel like I am in the dark and I am never confused. They also understand families have financial restraints. They will do their best to give you a fair price and offer discounts when possible (within reason, of course).

He explained the work that would be done and provided me a very competitive estimate, a lot lower than the first estimate I received from a different company. John was very polite and professional. The crew showed up on time as scheduled. They too were very polite and professional. The crew was excellent. These guys really know what they're doing. John went the extra mile to make sure I was very satisfied with the results. I would definitely call them again for plumbing and sewer service.

Recent Review: Guys were very efficient, helpful and gave me the peace of mind knowing everything is up to par. E-mailed the video like they said they would and walked me through step by step what they were looking for. Overall very professional experience.

Recent Review: Edwin responded to my call quickly and was able to come out and inspect the problem - a broken drain pipe and sump pump. He was able to get a crew out in the next couple days and rod the sewer line and patch the pipe and replace the sump pump. His crew did a professional job and cleaned up everything and put some concrete around the sewer lid to help keep the smell out. Will call again in the future.

Recent Review: I looked for a plumber/sewer service close to my address and found Vanguard Plumbing and sewer. I called , explained my ,dilemma and he said he could have a technician there in a hour or so. George the technician called and said he was 20 min. away. He replaced the failed ejection pump. Then he checked the sump pump and backup power supply. When he finished, his manager called me and discussed what the technician had found and recommended what we could do to improve our system. I cannot say what a great relief it was to have someone that responded so quickly when they were called.

Recent Review: They seemed okay. I needed them to do something quickly and they responded. They were relatively quick with their response. I thought they were a little expensive, but I was not dissatisfied with any of the work that they had done.

Recent Review: From the call to the Plumbing Department's office to completion of the rodding and camera inspection of our sewer line everything was done with complete professionalism and courtesy. We spoke with Stephanie at the office and she made it very easy to schedule our appointment. Jose came to look at our catch basin and offer suggestions on what to do. He was very courteous and explained everything that needed to be done as well as possibly more expensive and involved steps in case there was significant work to be done. Another appointment was made for the rodding and inspection. The office called in advance of Jose and Jeff Kafka's arrival at our house. Everything went extremely well. We couldn't have asked for a better, more professional experience. Without any doubt, we have found an excellent plumber to call again when the need arises. We would highly recommend The Plumbing Department, Inc.

Recent Review: First they pumped out the water and diagnosed the problem as sewer back up. They sent for the Rodger, but said we were off the clock while waiting for the Roderick. After rodding the line, they made every effort to clean up everything. Robert was extremely professional and explained everything regarding the work and the cost of the repairs. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

Recent Review: . Everything went very well. The only suggestion for improvment would be more care in protecting our carpet from dirt from shoes. Both young men were personable and excellent workers. The job was well done, and completed efficiently. I'm very glad I picked them.

Recent Review: Saturday AM I saw (yep, saw) that my Ejector Pump was not working. Based on their A+ Reviews I contacted the Scottish Plumber and they said no cost for the estimate, and we can be by in an hour -- pretty hard to argue that. 2 great Service Techs arrived in a Scottish Plumber Truck...did a 5 minute eval and wrote up a Proposal for them to do the repair now. They ran out to pick-up the parts and an hour later all the work was complete, the bad (very bad mind you) parts were removed from my property, the area was left cleaner than it started, I got a recap of exactly what they did, plus they gave me some suggestions on Warranty and Preventative Maintenance. Very professional, very punctual, very clean, very competitive very though.... A+A+A+

Recent Review: I e-mail R J Graham Plumbing about replacing a defective value on a sump pump and replacing the sewer erector sump pump. A young lady respond within an hour as well as call and left a voicemail message. Upon returning call, they were able to schedule me for service the next day. Jim was on time, professional and gave me the Angie's List customer price. He recommended the best value to each sump pump. The job took approximately an hour no more than an hour and half. Jim left the basement clean and removed all the debris with him. I would definitely use R J Graham for my next plumbing jobs and recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks for your service and customer service.

Recent Review: These guys were very professional, quick, and courteous. Daniel explained my options for preventing sewer backup into the house and helped me choose the one I wanted. J&S got the permit for me and came out about a week after we confirmed what we wanted. They got everything done in a day, and cleaned everything up - there was a huge pile of dirt when they dug out the sewer line, but it was all cleaned up by the end of it. They really did a nice job. Daniel explained how to service the clean check, and another coworker explained how to handle the new backup pump. I was very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend using them again.
