Recent Review: The roof is wonderful and has made it through two really bad winters. The gutter guards are dented. The gutter guards weren't as great as the roof job that was completed. It took about a day and half to complete the job. They left the area clean when they were finished.

Recent Review: Well as far as I could tell. Worked up on roof so we will see how leaks are fixed when it rains. Cleaned up around the outside of house and was punctual. Overall a good job!

Recent Review: I interviewed and received proposals form six roofing contractors. From our first meeting Mike S at Smart Roofing impressed my with his listening ability and his knowledge of roofing. Mike's proposal broke down the project just as I requested. A few of the other proposal came back without any breakdown at all. A few of the proposal can back without addressing any special treatment of a unique architectural element of my roof know as an and quot;eye browand quot; roof. My house has eight of these small arching roofs. Smart Roofing proposal was not the highest or the lowest, but they offered a complete roofing solution at a competitive price. The Smart Roofing team arrived early on the day we agreed . My house was built early in the 1950's and had three old roofs which had to be removed. We have invested a great deal into our landscaping. For the removal of the old roofs Smart Roofing was careful to protect our landscaping with a combination of plywood and tarps. The project took three days. They cleaned up before leaving each day. The daily clean up included sweeping for nails. They completed the entire project as and when promised. I was extremely pleased because everything looked great and I could show off my new roof to my extended family who were visiting on the weekend. Since my new roof was installed by Smart Roofing the Chicago Area has experienced the heaviest April rain total in recorded history. I have not had a single problem with roof.

Recent Review: Knowing that we were trying to beat the first snow, John scheduled maintenance of our condo roof quickly, and his team braved cold temperatures to do the work. After cleaning off the roof debris, they sealed all gaps that were letting moisture under the roof membrane and then coated the roof with an aluminum roof coating. The work was thorough, done in one day, and they completely cleaned up afterwards. John and his team have helped our HOA with multiple projects, and we've always been pleased with the results.

Recent Review: We just recently hired Hefferan Roofing for the second time since we purchased our house in 2014. The first time was to put on a new silver coating on the part of our roof that was a flat rolled roof, and this time to finally replace the whole roof of our house and detached garage since we knew it was on its final days and was missing a couple shingles, including all new gutters, fascia, and soffit. The house is a split-level, where half has shingles and the other half is a flat roof, whereas the garage is all shingle. The first time we hired them, I was impressed with their work and professionalism (not to mention cost). This time, I was impressed even more. We had four different roofing companies come out to give us an estimate of the work a couple weeks back. I came across Hefferan originally due to recommendations from two neighbors on my block, and wanted to get a few other estimates to compare. In the end, it came down to two, but I decided on Hefferan because of their openness and honesty that I felt was a step better than the runner up (and much a lot better than the other two), as well, surprisingly, even being on the more affordable end. Because of this, we were able to get a little more done that we wanted, that we were expecting to not be able to afford this time around. Mike at Hefferan was more than happy to answer all the questions I had, and really spent a lot of time with us to make sure we were happy. He was also very quick to respond by phone when I later thought of other questions to ask. He assured us that unlike many other roofing companies in the area where it takes them days if not weeks to finally complete replacing the roof (and often requiring them to leave a large garbage bin in the driveway for days), his team could have both the house and garage’s roof not only removed, but completely replaced the same day! Though I was skeptical, he was right! They showed up just as expected at about 7am on the day we were scheduled with 9 workers plus Mike. Astonishingly, they were all packed up and driving away just before 1pm! They were very methodical; you could tell they’ve all been doing this a long time and all know their “stations” and what needed to get done. They were thorough with the cleaning as well, and Mike came and went numerous times throughout the day to ensure everything was going as expected, and even jumped in himself to do some of the work. He was also great in double and triple-checking all the work (for the roofing, as well as soffit, fascia, and gutters), and even was proactive in telling one of the guys to redo a bit of soffit work that wasn’t up to par to his standards. They set the expectations that the roofing work would be finished in one day, and that all the aluminum work would be done in a following day, and they met the set expectations. When Hefferan came out to give us a quote and show us different shingle coloring options, they even supplied a sheet of paper with dozens of addresses (double-sided!) of recent work they’ve done just in Mount Prospect alone, so that we could see what each color looked like in person. To wrap up, I highly recommend Hefferan Roofing for any of your roofing needs. Whether that’s maintenance of an old roof, replacing a flat roof, shingles, fascia, soffit or gutters, they can do it all and very efficiently and professionally. And even without breaking the bank. They’re very reasonable and competitive, and I can only speak very highly of Mike and the whole staff. You won’t be disappointed.

Recent Review: I had Adam's Roofing repair my flat roof. The roof was repaired in one day. Professionally completed and after work done all debris was moved. 10 year warranty on work completed as well. I would use Adam's roofing again.

Recent Review: Very grateful for San and team. Sam came out and was very honest about the work that was needed for my roof. The builder did a subpar job installing the roof so my 12 year old roof needed to be completely replaced. The work was done that same day. Before the rain and wind storms. I was provided before and after photos. Team did a great job. Definitely would hire them again.

Recent Review: I highly recommend Reid. They were fair, friendly, and professional from start to finish. They are experts who improved our house 100% by taking on a tricky project most other companies weren't able to: replace the porch roof and enclose the inlaid original wood gutters. They also added new gutters to the porch roof and added flashing and weather sealing to the main roof chimneys. The quality of their work is apparent and appreciated.

Recent Review: Excellent. He climbed his ladder onto the roof and within a minute told me what the problem was and what needed to be done to fix it. He quoted me a price for him to repair it but said I could probably do it myself. I chose to repair it myself and he said there was no charge for the estimate or his advice on how I could repair it. Leak Stop Roofing will be the first company I call for any future roofing work.
