I had 4 major problems with my living room ceiling -- old water damage in a 1920's bungalow, after the work, I can't find where the damage was! Jim is great, professional and fair, as are the guys working with him.

Rick and his team arrived and got straight to work. They are very professional and didn't give me too hard a time for my horrible attempt to DIY some of the original patchwork and even gave me some tips. He was very efficient and did much more work than I expected in a short period of time. He was even able to do other repairs that I thought he wouldn't have time to complete, leaving everything looking seamless, as if I had never touched it. They also left my home free of dust and debris, which is more than I can same for some work I had done previously by another vendor. I highly recommend Rick and his team!

Recent Review: I received multiple bids for my home repair project and decided to go with Lookswell based on their professionalism, responsiveness, and the reviews I saw here on Angie's List. They did not disappoint. Fernando was very thorough and professional for the estimate, and he explained the work they'd do clearly and concisely. The job took two days. Luis arrived promptly each day to do the work. He installed a long piece of drywall in a closet of my house that was recently gutted to make way for air conditioning ducts, and he patched a plaster hole in the same closet. He was careful to avoid the air conditioning lines running down the length of the house from the attic, which was critical. Luis also patched and sanded a plaster ceiling that was ravaged by hairline cracks after vents were installed. Both areas were painted white. When I noticed there were two unsightly gaps in the closet caused by the prior removal of baseboard, Luis quickly cut some of my old baseboard, installed it and painted it in under an hour. Fernando stopped by to inspect the job site on the second day to ensure I was satisfied, which I always appreciate. Pricing was fair, not too much, not too little. Excellent work, great customer service.

Recent Review: We had water damage on our living room ceiling and along an externally-facing wall. Marius spent approximately 8 hours over 3 days removing the water-damaged plaster, replacing the removed plaster with drywall, scraping old paint, re-plastering other surfaces on the ceiling and wall, applying primer, and repainting the entire ceiling and wall. Marius was dealing with our mostly-absentee landlord, who did not show up when she promised. Marius dealt with this like a true professional and was always punctual and ready to get started. He was very friendly, always put our considerations ahead of his (he asked us each day when we wanted him to start working), and always kept us up-to-date on what he was doing each day. I would highly recommend ML Home Remodeling to anyone in need of home repair or remodeling.

Recent Review: Gene was highly responsive following our contact with him and was very eager for our project. He stopped by to look at what we wanted done, and we went room-by-room and tallied a cost which we agreed upon prior to him starting the project. Plaster work is messy by nature, but Gene was as careful as possible to protect our wood floors and furniture during the process as we were living in the home at the time of the work. The depth of Gene's experience was obvious as we look at the end result which our beautiful walls and ceilings. We paid more than we would have for a drywall person to fix everything, but we feel that we got excellent value from Gene as plaster is an art and he is one of the best. We plan to use him again for future projects that would involve walls or ceilings.

Recent Review: Jando painted my kitchen. It needed some minor plastering on scrapes, small holes, irregular walls, etc. Jando fixed those areas beautifully. They started on time and finished earlier than expected. They covered everything from the cabinets to the countertops, including the floor. Cleaning and removing all debris after completing job. They answered all my questions. I am very pleased with the results. I will definitely use them again!
