Chicago Popcorn Ceiling Removal

This outfit is very professional and efficient. I wanted to have my popcorn ceilings removed and they were able to do it immediately at a very, very reasonable price. The whole work crew were very professional and pleasant. I will definitely use this company again

I selected this company for several projects in my home based on the wonderful reviews I saw here and I am so very glad that I did! We started with a bathroom that was totally remodeled and replacement of the kitchen counter/sink and replacement of a tile backspash. Next up they repaired the basement staircase/installed a new handrail and refinished the hardwood floors. I was so thrilled with the experience and the results that I brought them back to remove popcorn ceilings and to paint the walls and ceilings. Right now they are finishing up a second bathroom remodel that is also gorgeous. I cannot say enough good about this company. Andy, Anne and Ginger were so very professional, honest and helpful in getting the projects and estimate work orders set up. Each of the tradesmen were also extremely helpful in explaining what was being done ( I am inquisitive) and were there on time and very careful to protect the floors, etc and clean up after completion of the work. Thank you Urmas, Scott, Rein, Virgo and Heath for sharing your finely honed skills with us. It has been a pleasure to work with each of you. Quotes for the work were competitive and any minor concerns I had or add-ons I requested were addressed promptly and fairly. I will be using this company again next year for other projects; no need to look elsewhere, they are trustworthy and wonderfully skilled.

Tom Debski, the owner, always arrived at the agreed upon time. And, was always available by cell phone during the job for questions and schedule changes. His crew was prompt and courteous, doing the best possible to confine a dusty job. All work done on time and small improvements suggested at the closing inspection were promptly addressed. Top notch experience from start to finish. Have used this company before with similar results. Would recommend without question.

My husband and I were extremely pleased and happy with the quality and efficiency of their work. Tom was quick to respond to my call, and and presented us with a timely estimate. The work was completed less than a week after my first contact. We found Tom to be exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and responsive to questions. It was apparent , he worked well with his assistant. They were respectful, careful , timely and neat. In order to install the lights in our bathroom, they had to cut into our popcorn ceiling. We did not find a bit of debris when they were finished. They were flexible to work with and we believe the price for labor and parts was fair. We will definitely use their services again. Ron arrived right on time. We reviewed the areas needing the work, and he went to work promptly and neatly to remove ceiling tiles and vacuum / clean them up. He added the cleaning of a row of ceiling tiles that we hadn't discussed but which said needed it.

They're still working on the house right now. I got 4 or 5 estimates and then I chose Handyman Connection. They are painting and removing the popcorn off the ceiling. They were the most professional in giving me the quote, they were on time and they did exactly the work they said they were going to do. It was just a very professional attitude and they were extremely good.

Came by about a week earlier to give an estimate. Recognized our needs quickly and gave an oral estimate. I called him back a few days later to see when he could get to it, and he was very accommodating in getting it done within a timeframe we had in conjunction with some other household work we had under way. The estimated amount, though not written, was honored.

A leaking toilet from the floor above damaged my ceiling. Elvis from Budget Right Handyman fixed the damaged plaster and repainted the ceiling to match. Everything looks great!

The Handyman Robert did a great job with the installation and patching the ceiling. He would have painted the ceiling if I had the paint. I am definitely hiring him again to do other projects in my place.

We have worked with this company before. They are easy to communicate with and very professional. Worker repaired ceiling and painted ceiling of dining room. We had to reschedule due to work and they were very accommodating.

Kevin was careful to cover items in storage in basement, disposed of ceiling tiles and other refuse, left the basement looking vastly better than it had been. He also gave suggestions about electrical outlets and wiring (he is a licensed electrician). We are very pleased w/his work and have had him work at our house many times.

Over-all work was good. Had several water stains in ceiling and some damaged ceiling boards which they cut out and replaced. I would hire again.

I had a leak next to my chimney and the rain water gathered in my attic and eventually came through to my bedroom ceiling. The work required replacement of some insullation and drywall on ceiling and wall. Work was excellent.

Stan was excellent. He patched the ceiling drywall where we had replaced light fixtures, and then painted the kitchen and family room ceiling (one continuous ceiling so they had to be painted together). He was prompt, professional and very engaging, keeping us informed throughout the day. We would definitely use him again!!
