Recent Review: Work as performed by Champion or their sub-contractors was uniformly timely and excellent. Champion provided architectural renderings, consulted with us and suggested alternatives when local regulations required that we alter our plans, and obtained all required building permits. All workers, both Champion employees and subcontractors, were prompt, professional, courteous, considerate of our concerns, and were careful to clear the work area of all debris after completion of the work. All work was performed with minimal disruption to our daily routine. All construction materials used were, to our ability to judge, of the highest quality. We have now enjoyed our new patio room for the better part of a year. It is beyond my abilities to express how pleased and happy we are with the room Champion provided for my wife and I. I have no reservations at all in recommending Champion Window of Chicago.

Recent Review: Vinyl by Voiles. That is who you should hire for your interior renovation, exterior siding or window needs. We wanted a concrete slab that had served as our patio for 20 years removed and replaced with a twice the size deck, with railing on one side, and a new patio door leading into the kitchen. Within less than a month (they fit us in to some larger projects) the diagonal slated wooden deck, (which will get stained next year) with a railing and perfect egress in and out of the kitchen, was installed. The removal of the concrete was tricky because of steel rods through the original construction. They pressed on! They also drove miles to get to us, explained everything they were doing, and tidied along the way (and did a complete clean up at the end). The patio door is still to come, but I can’t help but think that the same attention to detail will be used with its installation. One hears that home improvement professionals can be unreliable, that construction companies can be incredibly disruptive, that renovation projects can take MONTHS, and that all of it can seem prohibitively expensive. Turned out that none of that was true, that there are small businesses in the world that are there for you every step of the way, that was Vinyl by Voiles. We are still pinching ourselves over our luck in choosing them over a much larger company, having our deck in record time; in time to enjoy THIS summer, and in becoming fast buddies in a world with little time and high expectations. Recent Review: The removal of the two old patios, walk and privacy fences went well and quickly. The two new patios, walk and seat wall took about 5 business days to complete but part of the delay was due to weather (rain). The big issue I had was when I was paying the final bill and requested my 5% discount for being an Angie's List member. Pavestone said the 5% discount applied to the original quote and that the final number included all the "add ons" that were done. I had to argue that we had signed a second quote that included everything and never had Pavestone said the 5% discount would only apply to the first quote provided. I eventually received the 5% discount on the entire amount of the work, but it took some arguing with the Pavestone representative. So, my recommendation to others: make sure you don't sign a quote until you have everything documented and costs included on the quote so you receive the 5% discount on the entire project.

Recent Review: It was was still cold and mid-winter, so we planned to have the work done as soon as the days would be above freezing. I needed a few days warning to get some fans out of windows, Scot accommodated me. He also asked about cleaning our deck, fence and concrete patio so when the team arrived, I asked for a quote while they were there. They did better, they cleaned a small section of each area and it looked so good, I had them do all the work! The fence and deck have been cleaned and sealed, the patio is nice and clean and the siding looks so good that my neighbor even asked for their card!
