Chicago Outlet Installation

Dorian spent a lot of time diagnosing the very old wiring in my house. A new outlet box was installed quickly.

Working with AJ was great, and I highly recommend him. I purchased a deal for 1 day of electrical work for $385. He worked for a day and a half for $600. He moved the location of 3 outlets and 1 light switch, which required some inventive work as the ceiling is solid masonry. He created 4 new outlets including one for a micro-hood and added a new circuit in the breaker box for the dishwasher connection. He installed three lamps and shortened the length of the dining chandelier. He also moved a wall lamp to another location. AJ works really cleanly and was very careful not to open large holes in the drywall. He reused some existing boxes and conduit that saved me some money. I was pleased with the work and think his price for the work done was reasonable.

Scheduled for the next day. Two hours before appt, he called to reschedule for the next day. He was one hour late on the next day. When he arrived, he was very professional. He suggested multiple solutions for the new outlet and gave alternatives for the upgrades. Work was performed timely and within budget.

My sump pump had stopped working and plumber said pump was ok but the electrical outlet was fried. I called Steve and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. He asked questions and explained what the possible problems could be. He quoted price for the visit and his hourly rate. Steve arrived on time and was able to replace outlet within half an hour! He explained what the problem was (bad GFI). Would definitely used him again.

They found the problem and corrected it. They did a great job installing a new outlet. Very reasonable prices. I will definitely use their services again.

Dan and Steve arrived on time. Despite having a phone quote, Dan gave another quote to ensure I still wanted service. Once I agreed, they went right to work. They had to run some new wires for the new outlets to be installed. They quick, proficient, and professional.

matt was great. He asked detail questions via email to estimate the work and the cost. We set up a time and he even sent a reminder the night before the job. On the day of the job, He arrived on time. Reviewed the proposed work and made practical suggestions, including not doing some if the work saying it wasn't necessary. It was great to get an honest expert opinion. He completed the work efficiently and with good quality. He was very respectful to clean up and wore booties in the house. Overall experience was great. I'd call Matt anytime I needed an electrician.

The serviceman showed up on time and looked professional and clean. I always worry about other people cutting into my home, but he was obviously skilled and paid excellent attention to detail. The new outlets looked like every other outlet in my house and I am very satisfied with this job. I will use Chicago Electric Contractors in the future and have already recommended them to friends.

Wilson electric responds right away, gets you into their schedule to get you the services you need and are very punctual. I was also extremely happy with the ease in which they installed an electric outlet over our fireplace. I had several estimates and many others tried to complicate the whole matter, suggesting many holes would be made into the wall which would require a whole paint job, and tried charging way too high prices. Wilson electric was quick, straightforward and very efficient. They did the job neatly and did not make any holes except where the receptacles would be installed. We are very happy with them and will definitely call them again for future electrical work, as long as the price of the service is right.

Andrew installed 2 security cameras & junction boxes. He also installed new electrical outlets as well. He did a wonderful job and was a pleasure to work with.
