Chicago Dog Door Installation

Contacted various builders on Angie's list to see if they could install in-wall automatic dog door (Laundry room). Majority of responses received read, "we do not do that type of work, sorry." One builder was willing to do the work, but he wanted pictures and all communication was via text. Zigman construction replied immediately via a phone call and then came out on a Sunday to view the area we wanted the door installed and answered all questions and also gave suggestions. Once we ordered the door, we contacted Mr. Zigman and scheduled install date. They arrived promptly on scheduled date and time. Mr. Zigman suggested the mini roof on the outside of the dog door which they built on site. They also built the dog ramp on site. We were lucky to find Zigman Construction. We will be using Zigman in the future for other home projects.

We use Greg at Ultra Handy to fix many things in our home from installing dog doors, doing small plumbing jobs, fixing dresser drawers to some carpentry work. What was nice about him was that he was able to save me a lot of money since he said he could simply fix the one I had and I was able to return the new fan I had purchased. He is prompt, friendly and clean.

We asked Joe, the handyman, if he could build us a doggie door when he was out for a different job, he said yes just call the office to make appointment. Made appointment and he came out on time. He was rushed and built a door that looked like crap. We called the office and they sent out manager the next day, he laughed and took a picture of the door because he could not believe how bad it was. Told us he would send out another handyman at no cost. Made an appointment with the other handyman. He came out but told us he would have to re-schedule because he did not have proper materials, and enough time to do the job. This was after the manager told us he would have all supplies before he came out. Made ANOTHER appointment. came out and did the job. Way to much hassle to build a simple doggie door.

Ken did a great job. He arrived early, finished both jobs in two hours, and did excellent work. Would definitely use again.

I purchased this deal a couple months ago and they were extremely prompt in calling me to schedule the service. I said I wanted to wait until my mantle shelf was in and they said no problem! I called them last week and scheduled for today. I have Mondays off so today worked out great but also they have weekend hours! The handyman was early and finished all three jobs in under 2 hours. I was really impressed with the level of expertise and knowledge that comes with getting the work done this quickly! He was extremely personable and approachable.

We had a dog door installed through our porch wall. The work was quickly completed, looks great, and everything was cleaned before he left.

Everything turned out great. Sean finished all 3 jobs in one day. I will call him again when we have more odd jobs to do.

Besides being a very nice dependable person, Tim worked quickly and everything was done perfectly. Could not have gone better and I will always be calling him for things that need to be done.....happy that angie's list led me to him

We were extremely pleased with Handyman Pros. They were polite, professional, and accurate. We really appreciated that, after looking at our list of items, they honestly removed tasks that they deemed as unnecessary. For instance, we thought that we needed a fan replaced and they showed us that it was still in working order. We were really impressed and would recommend them to others.
