Recent Review: I was very pleased at the pleasant personality & professionalism of the technicians Marshon Hughes & leonard Bailey. They were prompt to the designated appointment time (actually early). They installed my air conditioner unit in under 40 minutes and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use Budget Right Handyman services again. I even referred them to a friend for HVAC services.

Recent Review: On finding, via a service call, that it was more cost-effective to replace rather than repair our 20-year old furnace and a/c system, we met with the AWE sales rep to learn and discuss options. He courteously and helpfully assessed our needs, answered questions and provided info/pricing on efficient new systems. We made our purchase decison and a few days later, the new system was installed. The installation staff were punctual, professional and thorough. They installed the system in one day, taking care to explain how it and the thermostat worked, provided the manual materials and set up a quality assurance followup visit. We were quite pleased with our interactions with the AWE staff and the professional expertise they displayed as well as th efollowup visit to make sure we were satisfied with the sytem and installation. We had a very good experience with this major investment and will continue to use AWE for our HVAC and other provided services!

Recent Review: I wanted to replace my old furnace and central air conditioner. After doing research I decided to install Trane. I was looking for authorized Trane dealer in my area. Besco Air happened to be one of them. I read about Besco Air in Angie?s list. Based on the positive comments written by various members in Angies?s List I decided to call Besco Air. Mr. Joe Pedota came to visit my home and see what kind of furnace and AC unit would be good for my house. I had lot of questions. Mr. Pedota was very polite and answered all of them to my satisfaction. I was very impressed by his sincerity. Although his price was not very different from other companies I decided to go with Besco Air because Mr. Pedota seemed to me a very honest and caring person. He came during and after the installation. I am very happy with his service. The technicians who came to install the furnace and AC did a good job. They came on time and finished the job in one day. My experience with Besco Air has been positive. I will recommend them to other people

Recent Review: I noticed that the furnace for the second floor of the house had died. I called Lifeline based on the other excellent reviews I had seen on Angie's List. I called on March 7 and was able to set up an appointment for an inspection for the same day. The technician, Joe, was punctual and polite. One thing I immediately noticed is that before entering the house, he put plastic booties on over his shoes, which I really appreciated. Joe took about 1 hour to look everything over. He called me up and showed me exactly what was wrong with the system (actually multiple things were wrong). There was water/condensate rather copiously leaking from the secondary heat exchanger. There was also rather extensive corrosion of both the primary heat exchanger and the secondary heat exchanger. This was causing the gas flame to not be drawn in to the primary heat exchanger as well as it should have been. This in turn was causing overheating of the frame of the furnace. He actually showed me the corrosion with this cool flexible scope. He also showed me the abnormality with the flames as well as the water that was rather obviously leaking. Since the system was 23 years old (was the original system that had been installed when the house was built) and given what was wrong with the system, he suggested just changing the entire system. He did not try to up-sell me on anything. I agreed with him. He didn't pressure me. He answered all of my questions clearly and thoroughly (and I had a lot of questions). He also did not try to sell me a system that was too large or overpowered for the space. He also gave me several options in terms of the level of efficiency of both the AC and the furnace. He was honest about what he felt was worth paying for and what was not worth paying for. I settled on a 16 SEER 4 ton AC and a 95% efficient dual stage 100,000 BTU furnace. The central humidifier was also replaced. I thought that I would have to wait a while for the installation, but surprisingly he said they would be able to come the next day to do the installation. We firmed up the appointment for the installation. He explained that they would need a 30% deposit and that the remaining 70% would be due at the time of completion of the installation. The installers arrived the next day at 10 AM. The installers names were Brandon and Anthony. They were very polite and introduced themselves. They also put plastic booties on their shoes before coming into the house. They took them off when they exited the house and put them back on when they entered the house. They must have gone in and out of the house about a hundred times and they did it every time. They laid out tarps along the entire path that they would be using in the house. They were exceedingly careful when moving things in and out. They cleaned up after themselves when they left. Everything was immaculate when they were done; there was not a spot on the carpet, a scratch on the hardwood, nor a ding on any wall. They also hauled away all of the garbage (including the old furnace, AC, and humidifier). They took about 10 hours to do the job. Brandon explained to me that things were taking longer because the furnace was located in a closet. This meant that there was only enough room for one person to be working at a time in the cramped space. Brandon gave me multiple updates throughout the day. He showed me the final product. He answered all my questions politely and throughly. He was also training Anthony and I could hear that he was being polite and courteous with him as well. I was very impressed. I would definitely call Lifeline again for any HVAC issues.

Recent Review: Great experience. The sales engineer, Mike, was prompt, professional and extremely friendly. He took the time to explain various options, including a nice primer on how air conditioners work. When it came time for the installation, the technician was on time, efficient and tidy. After the new system was installed (a tricky installation due to the small size of the crawl space), the installation manager came for the final walk-through. One remaining installation issue was corrected extremely promptly, and the new system works like a charm. These guys really know old homes and we couldn't be more happy with the final product.

Recent Review: Overall this was a very positive experience and I will be calling them again for my repair needs. I sent an estimate request from their website and received a call a few days later from the scheduler. I discussed my project needs and was given a very clear explanation of how the scheduling and repair process works as well as pricing. I was able to schedule my repair within a relatively short time (within 2 weeks) at a time that was convenient with my schedule. I received a confirmation call the day before to review my project plan and answer any questions. On the day of service, I received a call in advance from the handyman advising that he would see me at the appointment time. He was very prompt. All the work was performed in a timely and careful manner. He was very careful to clean up afterwards and was very friendly and professional. He had all the tools/materials he needed for my job so no additional trips to the store were required. I will definitely use Handyman Matters again and will start making a new to-do list today. It's so much easier to have someone knowledgeable come do the work than to try to figure out how to do it myself!

Recent Review: I own a two flat. I initially thought the price was high for the work to be done on second floor, until I saw the quality of the work done. Since I could not afford to have the entire bathroom retiled, and the OLD tile could not be matched, John brought me samples of larger tiles that matched so well. New tub and fixtures. everyone who sees apartment says OMG, especially that bathroom. Since the outside of the building is nondescript, what is now behind the front door to apartment is a WOW. Tim was always accessible via cell phone or office. Previously, I had a different contractor recommended by friends to do work on first floor, mostly painting, did take down a wall to enlarge 2 very small bedrooms into one larger one, added a closet. The cost was less than what Brighton would have quoted, but the quality of the work was poor. Apartment had not been painted in years, heavy smoker. Contractor refused to put 2 coats of quality paint I had purchased. It's been only 6 months, and I should have the rooms repainted already. I know that Tim at Brighton would have suggested this himself. The pantry door had a cut out for my cats and litter box, no way was this guy a carpenter as claimed. Brighton will get all my future work requests before I consider another contractor. And if I do have to, I want to see work done elsewhere

Recent Review: Jack is great to work with, trustworthy, and offered an Angie's list discount. Workers showed up on time and got to work, finishing the entire job in one day. I couldn't be at the house while the work was being performed, but Jack kept me up to date, texting me updates and sent me a picture of my rotted A/C line which had to be replaced. They left the place cleaner than it was when they showed up. I plan on using Jack for my future electrical work.

Recent Review: As soon as the replacement part arrived from UPS they called and scheduled installation the same day. The technition replaced the motor and then went outside to make sure our compressor outside was clean and functional. He ended up adding some coolent to the system and cleaning out the compressor coils.

Recent Review: Climate Control is great! They replaced both of our air conditioner units and we are extremely happy with everything. They were very nice and professional. They install American Standard air conditioners - arguably the best - and their price was considerably better than others. If you do a little research you will hear that the installation is as important as the brand. Climate Control ranks among the best here, too. Recent Review: A plumbing leak had saturated the subfloor in our powder room, causing the tiles to rise and making it impossible to close the door. Ron at Harmonious quoted us a price for the work, which we accepted. The work itself was performed by two employees-Mauricio, who only speaks a little English, and his assistant, who only spoke Spanish. They did good work-removing the flooring and walls down to the studs, replacing the insulation and covering them back up. After the initial phase, they installed a heating element under the tile, then tiled over it. The language barrier became an issue when they installed the heating element (the directions were in English) and did not include a sensor in the floor. After calling the manufacturer and speaking with a customer service rep in Spanish, they were able to install a different, ambient sensor and the heating element works. After that, they did a nice job of tiling the floor and running beadboard around the walls. The job took about 2 1/2 days and the workers always cleaned up after themselves. Over all, other than the issues with installing the heating element, they did a good job.

Recent Review: The service call went great. Needless to say on a day which hit the high 80's and following days to reach in the high 90's having my air conditioner go out was not good. I called Always Air just before 9am and received a call back not even a half hour later that a gentleman would be out to take a look at my A/C. Not only were they out to my home very quickly, but in no time my air conditioner was up and running again and I was not charged an arm and a leg for the service call. I can't thank Hal and Sally enough for taking care of my problem so quickly, they are great people to work with. I highly recommend Always Air for any heating and air conditioning needs, they are terrific.

Recent Review: It went very well. The fan motor on the compressor for the old unit failed. Also, the capacitor was failing. The old unit was 12 years old. So we decided to just install a new unit. Freedom had a crew out later that day and completed the installation by about 5:00PM. All of the crew were friendly, courteous, and conscientious. They gladly answered the questions I had regarding the new unit. They cleaned up all of the areas they worked in. I didn't have to pick up anything after they left. I've previously used Freedom for several other service calls, as well as yearly maintenance. I'll definitely call on them again.

Recent Review: Contractor replaced a 15-year old gas furnace and central air conditioner that was rated at 80% efficiency with a new Armstrong furnace and air conditioner that is rated at 95% efficiency. The work was completed in one day and cost about the same as the replacement that was done 15 years ago. The furnace has been working fine for a month now.
