Chicago Attic Fan Installation

Kevin contacted me & had opening available right away. Arrived promptly and installed fan. Left all needed papers.

Bob was absolutely wonderful! He installed a new fan in our attic, and he explained to me and showed me how awful our previous fan was put together. He inspected our attic and assessed our insulation. He gave us a very good price on the insulation and explained how having more insulation would change our upstairs temperatures in both cool and warm weather. I purchased the insulation "deal" for North Shore Insulation, Inc. from Angie's List, at Bob's recommendation, and I look forward to having Bob return in a few weeks to complete that installation. They arrived on time on June 9 and quickly confirmed that the motor was burnt out on our old attic fan. The team lead provided a couple of options, and I decided to replace the old fan because of a better guarantee. They installed the new fan, explained how the thermostat was set, and did a great job of cleaning up. Unfortunately we had to have them come back on June 11 because there was a leak in the roof at the fan. They were extremely responsive. They took their time to find the leak and to determine that there was only one place that caused the problem. They repaired the leak and tested to insure it had been fixed. Again they did a great job cleaning up. Although we had the problem with the leak, I would use Attic Air again and recommend them.

From initial phone call to completion it went great. They were able to quote doing the work and how long it would take to do it. They weren't pushy when I told them I was just getting a quote right now, but were very responsive and professional. When I called to make an appointment to have the work done, they were able to provide me with an exact date and time they would arrive and an approximate completion time for the job. When the team showed up they went right to work and finished earlier then expected. When the job was done they cleaned up and other then the new fans you couldn't tell they were there.

This company was excellent in every way! Always prompt, explained everything (never pressured to add products or services) and fast. Arrived on time, communicated what the workers were doing and the time frame involved. Called me to come look at what had been done, explained the new fan and how it was working etc. Installed the attic fan ($ 595) and did blown in insulation, soffit vents etc ($1350). Price was comparable with others. This company is absolutely wonderful to work with!

Bob, the owner of Northwest Insulation did the installations. Bob was punctual in his time commitments, and professional in his work ethic, as well as being a very pleasant person to deal with. He paid close attention to all details, including not only those required for a first-rate completion but also corrected corollary items that were not in the agreement. These included replacing a broken trapdoor, going to Home Depot for shingles to match those damaged by the installers of the replaced fan, and repairing a wrongly installed can light, all with no additional fee. We couldn't be more satisfied and would certainly recommend Bob and his Northwest Installation Company.

Called, appt. made, arrived on site promptly and gave estimate with plan to complete work immediately if estimate was acceptable. Three workers worked very efficiently to get work completed. All wore shoe covers and care was taken to keep work site clean. Brought all tools and supplies on truck at time of initial appointment, so no need to leave job site to get any supplies. Work completed without incident.

Beautiful! He had done work for us in the past, put chicken wire on an attic fan and installed a light fixture.
