WOW. HORRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE. Our A/C blew out and our home warranty company connected us to them. Interservice Heating and Cooling claims to have emergency service and yet they said they couldn't come until two days later after we called. A confirmation phone call from them told us a technician would come between 8am and 10am. After two days of sweltering heat, radio silence. We waited during that time and called to double check if they were actually coming. Right around 10am, we received a text from them now saying someone will arrive between 8am and 12pm. Frustrating. WORSE, the technician finally comes, had absolutely no PPE or sense of social distancing, and when we told them our HVAC is on the roof (we live in a condo building), they said they were scared of heights and immediately LEFT. HE LEFT. No apology, nothing. Interservice Heating and Cooling, you claim to be HVAC professionals. You are based in the Chicagoland area. Most HVACs are on the roof of most buildings. How can you have technicians who are not prepared for this? And to just leave without providing a solution? It should have been clear from your lack of an actual website or presence on yelp, but it was made more clear with this interaction. You are extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend you to anyone. That employee should not be working with you or any HVAC company and we will be reporting Interservice Heating and Cooling to the BBB.
