The windows and doors being replaced were in very poor condition, with some problem areas. The replacement windows and doors really look great and have made all the difference. New interior trim was installed and really improved our rooms appearance. The Installers did a great job installing the new replacement windows in our not so new walls. The staff was pleasant to work with and worked with me to make sure things were the way I wanted them to be.

The overall process went well. I had 10 windows and a sliding door installed all in 1 day. The installers showed up on time, greeted me at my front door. I showed them which windows and sliding door were to be replaced. The installers were very knowledgeable of the task at hand. The lead installer let me know after replacing the windows that 1 of my screens were missing, so he called into his office to report the issue.

The installers were professional, polite, and industrious. I was amazed at how quickly the windows and doors were installed, and I loved the color options for the internal window frames. They match our woodwork beautifully. The 90 year old windows they replaced had some interesting pulley hardware that I remarked upon. When the installation was complete, one of the installers brought me a number of the pulleys and asked if I wanted to keep some. It's cool to have some of the history of the windows from this old house.

Initial sales process went well. Estimate included itemized pricing of each window. Financing explained (and written) in clear simple language. Installation was when things started going downhill. Our most expensive large bay window was installed with a broken lock. It would was the installer who actually brought it to our attention. We were told customer service would follow up with us. A bathroom screen had a hole in it. Again installer was aware of problem. Overall installation was sloppy. I received an email from a Window World rep requesting a review. We told the rep about our unresolved issues with installation and told her a review would be forthcoming after we heard from customer service. This person apologized and again told us a customer service rep would call us That was on Feb 11 2022. No word yet from customer service. Not happy and cannot recommend.

It took 6 wks. after the contract was signed for the windows to be manufactured and delivered. We were told it may take 2 days to install that many, but the 2 installers completed the job in 1 day. Two of the new windows had cracks in the glass. Replacements were ordered and installed 5 wks later. Many of the windows were missing the 'weep hole' covers, which were replaced at a later time. We like the new windows. There are a bit pricey but high quality. The installers worked hard and were fairly professional.

Power Home Remodeling
Windows were delayed from the original December installation to March (supply chain issue). Then, I was contacted by Power agent via phone to move up install date since windows had arrived earlier than expected. They said they would call the night before to confirm but then did not. I received a call from them on the morning of installation saying that someone had called in sick so it would need to be rescheduled. Luckily, I was off the entire week and they were able to schedule the install a couple days later (at my convenience). If I had taken a day off for the install, this would have been a problem rescheduling.. The lead worker and his assistant were very nice and professional when they arrived promptly at 8am on the rescheduled date. They laid down drop cloths and were able to answer my questions.

Communication thru the entire process was excellent. The installers (3) arrived on time. They introduced themselves and were very professional. The installation took approximately 6 to 7 hours and they worked continually during this time. The installation went without any problems. At the completion of the installation all of the replaced windows and debris were removed. I am very pleased with the quality of the windows and the finish work performed by the installers was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend the Power Group to anyone for the installation of windows.

Recent Review: Diamond Construction is a family owned business. John is the President, Ciro is the site manager and Rosa business manager. All three of them are very professional, reliable and were excellent. John Melo responded to my Angie's List request for an estimate within 24 hours. He came out the next day to look at the job. John and his team have many years of roofing experience and he explained in great detail what they would do. I have a 4000 sq. foot colonial with two layers of old roofing that needed replacing. Diamond's estimate was very competitive with three other estimates I received and decided to go with Diamond because of John's attention to the job and sense of urgency to get it done. He wanted my business. The team showed up a day before his estimated start date at 7:00am and finished within 3 days, even coming back on a Saturday to finish some details. The job went very smooth. His team was prompt, courteous and efficient. After removing the old roof we decided to add the recommended extra PVC around the base of the roof that had a deep V where it had leaked. A very reasonable $400 amendment to the proposal. Also, an additional chimney flashing and new lead were added for another $400 not initially in the original proposal which was quite reasonable. Diamond also at no additional charge removed and replaced three smaller roofs over the garage, and two bay windows. The work was done on time and on budget. Ciro was on site much of the time and consistently discussed what was happening and how the job was progressing. Work was done with care and attention to detail and quality. Couldn't be happier with the installation. Cleanup was also well done. Large dumpster they brought was removed promptly early Monday morning and you couldn't even tell they were there except for the sparkling new roof. Great job Diamond Construction! I would strongly recommend Diamond Roofing for small or large roofing jobs.

From the no pressure quote through the installation, Al and his crew were amazing. Al keeps in great communication throughout. We had to special order the windows and he kept us updated as to the order status. He is so knowledgeable yet easygoing and really personable. Then his super friendly and considerate crew installed the windows, and they cleaned up after themselves (we'd have never known they had been there except for our gorgeous windows). Recent Review: Ralph arrived at our house in the late afternoon and immediately went to work from the top of the house on down. Before starting, he put on shoe coverings to keep the floors clean. He worked efficiently and meticulously on each window (there are a lot of them), and whenever he noticed a spot that didn't look quite right, he went over it again. The day was very warm, and he just kept going. Because of the late start, we decided that he should finish the job on a later date. On the follow up visit, he arrived early and went right to work where he left off. So, how do the windows look? I can't believe the difference!. I have cleaned the windows the way most people do: Windex, paper towels, and newspaper. Never has my work resulted in the sparkling the windows show now. Every time I walk up to a door or window (yes, he did the doors, too), I marvel at how clean they are. The house hasn't had this view since the day the windows were installed--and I'm not sure that they looked that good even then. Highly recommended.
