Recent Review: They did a great job. They actually tuned them to work better than the original installers. Thermal solar is kind of a dying technology. Photovoltaic is getting better and better and better. These days it's a lot cheaper if you just get the photovoltaic and get a heat pump for heating. Photovoltaics are so cheap that it's cheaper just to use the electricity just to run a heat pump, to heat water. I think one of the mistakes we made was we didn't go with evactuated tube. I wish I'd have done that. Actually the installers talked me out of that. Evacuated tube works really good in the Winter but the problem is, it can overheat in the Summer and I think they were worried they maybe didn't have a lot of experience with evacuated tube. I shouldn't have dumped those guys and found somebody else. People maybe don't like the look of evacuated tubes as much, but in Europe it's more popular because electricity rates are still more expensive in Europe, the solar thermal still makes more sense in Europe. Everybody uses evacuated tube. It's way more efficient on a cold day, the vacuum retaining the heat. But they're a little more expensive and people don't like the look as much. The flat panels are much more popular in the United States and it's easier on service people. At this point, it's harder to find anyone who does solar thermal because the photovoltaic has gotten so cheap. For price, I'd give them a B. It's good value for the money because they did a great job.

Recent Review: Installation process was easy and proceeded with no delays. System works as expected and has been producing power within the expected output. One panel was dead at install time, and was replaced within a week with no issues. The Green Power Energy crew did a very clean and professional installation and hookup.

Recent Review: They had professional, nice and knowledgeable people on staff and handled all the required steps to bring the system online. I wanted to maximize solar production and found panels of a manufacturer they use which they did not have in their program yet because they were to new. When they became available, Sunlight Solar quickly swapped them on my quote and we were ready to install the system. Installation went very well and they did a great job installing the racking, the panels, the electrical work and bringing the system online. I recommended them to a fried who is very happy with them as well. I can highly recommend them.

Recent Review: Solar panel installation on roof of home went very well. Scheduled in May, install occurred in mid-August. SunBug was not the cheapest option, but very professional & prompt in communicating the details and coordinating the necessary paperwork with the electrical company. The installers worked quickly and did a fantastic job. I was nervous about having them work with the electrical system in a new home, but they were able to integrate with the circuit breaker with no issues and worked with me to make the necessary installed equipment (switch, meter, conduit down to roof, inverter, etc...) as unobtrusive as possible. We had a small wrinkle with their ability to install on a low-pitch dormer, but it was resolved after about a day, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. Solar panels are generating about as much power as advertised, and though it has only been a few months there have been no hardware issues so far.

Recent Review: The entire installation process was fantastic. The crew is extremely professional and does great work. The pre-installation process was handled completely by the BlueSel office, all I had to do was take care of securing the loan, and the system has worked flawlessly since my installation in April of 2017. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have Solar installed on their home.

Recent Review: The team did a great job. They removed an old 1980's era solar water system and put in a modern (and much smaller) replacement. They were very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. Both the solar pool heater and the solar water heater work very well.

Recent Review: July of 2016 - 33 Panel array on my roof. Great Sky did an excellent job designing and installing the system and walking me through the SREC II Market that was unknown to me at the time and had a questionable capacity issue. I am very pleased with the follow-up support for a replacement LG Panel under warranty and am very happy I went with a local provider for my design, installation and service needs.

Recent Review: Brightstar worked closely with me to install the maximum number of panels, 36 we could put on my roof. We selected panels without the silver traces and black surround so the would be relatively unobtrusive. See picture. Some of my trees since removed I have some shading from trees across the road but still make 10M watt/hrs/year. Since installation we had one of the 36 optimizers and an inverter fail - both replaced quickly under warranty and at no cost to me! Last week (March 21) I saw some intermittent inverter shut down that Brightstar were able to determine that the cause was utility voltage was out of specification. I also measured it as 130v that could be dangerous to electrical equipment in the 100s of homes on that circuit. The utility quickly verified this and replace their failed regulator. Good work Brightstar!
