Great! We had them remove the old wood deck and stairs and replace them with engineered wood and PVC covered boards. We added lighting on the stairs and deck as well

Everything went perfect. Eric was here everyday early and got the job done on time. Couldn't ask for anything more. I would hire him again.

So I gave a C rating but honestly my experience was worse. I chose to gave a C because I understand that during the pandemic home contracting work has spiked and most of these folks are really busy. That being said.. I contacted RBM through Angies list on 8/14 and they responded saying they would love to come give me an estimate asking me for my address, I gave them my availability and asked when they would like to come out to give me the estimate but did not receive a reply. On 8/18 I receive an "OK" message but nothing else. On 8/19 I responded again and asked if they still were interested in coming out and giving me an estimate and they responded "YES". So I again provided my availability and was told to text the address to a phone number "978-87X-XXX8" (I blocked out part of the number for privacy reasons). I texted the requested information and received back "OK". On 8/24 after five days of silence on both Text and Angie's list, I again sent a message trying to follow up with getting the estimate but did not receive a response. As of 9/14 I still have not received response to my communication on 8/24. I am disappointed because honestly if they had just communicated that "Hey we are too busy" I would have understood. ANYTHING would have been preferable to the silence I received. I am sure they are probably great people but right now my personal grade for them is "F", I rated them a "C" because I did not experience any loss other than time and have since accepted the bid from another contractor for the work. Do better, the next person to bother leaving a review may give you the "F" you deserve if you treat them the same way.

I've used Angie's list to find other contractors including roofing and masonry. Mr. Handyman is the first that required me to pay for them just to come and provide me with an estimate of the project. I've had nearly 15 contractors provide me estimates through Angie's List and this is the first that wanted me to pay upfront and no work was going to be done. I would stay away from a company like this that's just looking to gauge you for money.

Overall, very happy with the entire experience. Karl was very easy to work with. Very flexible. We decided on a small change half-way thru the project that required a permit modification and a delay for Karl in his work schedule however he was happy to build us a deck that was exactly what we were looking for, even if a late change in the design set him back for other jobs. We are planning a full kitchen remodel in the winter and Karl is the first person we plan to call.

He quoted the deck. His price was very competitive and better than some New Hampshire contractors were pushing. He finished the deck on time as promised.

We hired Durable Remodeling to replace our older wood deck with a new Azek deck. We are very pleased with the finished product! Dean and his crew were great to work with, always on time and easy to get in touch with. They were very knowledgeable and professional.

Kent came the week before to look over the job, gave me an approximate cost, and the time he thought it would take. He showed up on time, and worked until the job was done. He got the job done in less time than he had estimated, and charged accordinglly. He did an excellent job, and we're very pleased with his work.

We love the new deck! We got other offers for a new deck and the quotes were all within range of each other. (We gave an 'A' for price for that reason.) For us the one thing that set Archadeck apart from the others was the design service. Working with Mark was easy (he was very accomodating to our schedule) and we were able to come up with a design that worked within our budget. Jim and Rick were equally easy to work with...Jim went over all the details and answered our many questions...Rick had the deck completed within a week and a half as quoted. The weather had turned rather cold but Rick showed up every morning on time to complete the deck!

From the first correspondence, Lenny was the consummate professional. Answered phone calls and emails promptly. Began the job and worked with his crew until the job was done. He did not try to juggle multiple jobs. I appreciated his manner, his work and the pride he took in a job well done.

Victory Construction did an excellent job tearing down a decrepit deck on the back of our house and building a new one. Kevin and team were easy to deal with, worked quickly and built a high-quality product. Despite insanely hot temperatures during the week of construction, they consistently made progress and finished on time. The entire project took about a week. We were impressed and would certainly hire them again.

MJM was excellent. Extremely professional and vert responsive. I had them remove the current top layer of wood on my deck and lay down trex. They took their time and every cut was precise. I couldn’t say enough good things about their work. I already have them providing another quote for an additional project. Highly Recommend!!!!!!

Horrible. We didnt go with Tom Curren because we never received a formal quote and they did not seem interested in our business. scheduling was good/easy but that was it. It was clear from the moment that Tom curren's estimator, Ernie, came that he did not have much interest in our business unless we wanted to completely replace our wood deck with composite. He ball parked the average price for composite decking at 15k. It's as if we were wasting his time even asking for a quote to replace the boards with wood. Next time if you don't need the work, dont waste the potential customers time. We had just started getting quotes for replacing the wood boards and didn't have a good idea of what exactly needed to be done and what the cost would be. Ernie had the nerve to ask me my budget and it wasn't because he was trying to help me out. I said 2k because it was none of his business what my budget was. That's an incredibly unprofessional question to ask someone. Why would I tell him my budget???? He was condescending and the whole visit left me very annoyed. He also said he would get in touch to discuss price but we never heard back. We are getting our deck repaired by someone else and for a much more reasonable price than 15k.

We finally had enough of repairing/staining our old pressure treated wood deck, and called Steve to get some ideas on a replacement deck. He worked with us to design a beautiful new maintenance free deck and was able to reuse the underlying support structure to save us some money on the project. He also came up with some creative options for a partial privacy wall around part of the deck. The workmanship was excellent, he kept us well informed through the entire process, and his crew was considerate and diligent.

We had intended on replacing our deck with composite materials but were unsure about brands and costs and we hoping to keep the existing deck frame. We had done some research on our own and began to entertain the idea of updating the concrete area adjacent to the deck with patio pavers. Now we had two projects and were hoping to find a company who could accommodate both. Additionally, we had thought that we would need to wait until the spring to complete these projects. We found Archadeck online and after researching reviews and their website we called. After a couple of meetings with Corey, our Archadeck design consultant we began to see that we might be able to replace the wood deck with composite, leave the deck frame intact, create a patio area using pavers adjacent to the deck, stay close to budget and that Archadeck could complete both projects now instead of waiting until the spring. We ended up selecting Dura Life decking, Timber Tech Build-A-Rail and Belgard pavers. Corey was terrific about working with us to create a beautiful design for both the deck and patio and select materials, colors and styles. The deck guys (Andrey and Artem) have a solid work ethic and take a lot of pride in the work that they do. Their attention to detail shows in the final product. Mike our Production Manager was great about monitoring the deck project and guiding us through the patio project (demolition of the slab proved to be a larger job and required additional equipment because the slab was thicker than we had previously thought). Zach our Production Coordinator kept in daily contact with us about the project status and to answer any questions that we had. Thanks to Mike and Zach. Both the deck and patio guys worked seamlessly to ensure that both projects were completed on time and the patio guys returned after completion to put loam and seed on the affected lawn areas. Jim Finlay and his team at Archadeck are professional and focus on ensuring that customers are happy and satisfied. We LOVE our deck and patio! Looking forward to enjoying both in the spring.
