Durable Remodeling
We had an old, unsafe porch. We went to Angie?s list to find someone to evaluate and fix. Some businesses were busy, some were unprepared, and some didn?t get back to us. Dean from Durable Remodeling came out and not only gave us a fair estimate but advice on how to stabilize the structure until our appointment date. Everything about the job was laid out to us and clear. Much appreciation and praise towards Dean Willette/Durable Remodeling for their carpentry craftsmanship, professionalism and exemplary customer service. They showed up, tore down existing structure, and the only thing left behind was our new porch in approximately two days as promised. They were able to reapply the original moldings and side door for access under the porch, and restored our confidence in the safety and beauty of the stairs leading to our home. This job was well worth the money.

Durable Remodeling
We are very happy with our new porch. It looks great and was completed within 2 weeks. One of the boards warped slightly after after the porch was completed and they came back within a couple days and fixed it. We would go with Durable again.

Pat came when he promised and as always, did fine work. The final bill was $1k less than quoted! Once they removed the stucco from under the porch, the footings did not need to be replaced, as originally estimated. This was a welcome surprise, we really appreciate Pat's honesty and integrity, he could have easily charged the full amount without telling us. Also, we have called Pat with questions regarding our current project (new vinyl siding), he has taken time from his busy schedule to come over to the house and answer our questions and offered great suggestions. Pat is a kind, honest, talented carpenter.

This is the second project we've had Edian do for us (the first was rebuilding the back decks on our building), and once again he did a terrific job. He and his team managed to efficiently tear down our deteriorating front porches and replace them with state-of-the-art composite decking, including laying a solid concrete foundation, water-proofing the different floors, preserving the original roofing, adding gutters and replacing the porch ceilings with bead board. The full project took roughly a month, but that included a couple of rain delays. Super pleased with the final product, and would recommend Edian to anyone looking for professional work at a reasonable price.

We got two estimates but we went with another builder, because he was able to start sooner. The other builder is going to start in April or May and Sean could not start until June or July. But they were fine. They came as scheduled and were always punctual. They explained what they can do and the different types of wood, pressure treated and that new type. We were very happy with them. They were very professional. They responded within a week, with their estimate. We had a list of questions and he answered them all.

I would give them an A+. Steve who runs the business was the clearest most professional contractor I have ever worked with. There was no lateness, changing the price, there never any excuses, we had clear communication, cleaned up after themselves, just none of the typical problematic contractor unprofessionalism. Their work is really well done, people walk by my house and tell me that it is a work of art. They just did great work and i have nothing but positive to say about Steven and his team. They made the project as painless as possible for me. They are not the cheapest but they do have fair pricing for the quality of work they give.

The finished project is beautiful and we are happy with it. The quality is excellent and we get numerous compliments on the end result. We found Ergun to be very personable, as well as smart, knowledgeable, and helpful. His team was excellent when they showed up, except for the painter, who had to be let go for a lack of professionalism (which further slowed progress). What made the process difficult was ongoing miscommunication and an inability of the contractor to respond in a timely manner. Construction took nearly a year to complete, with numerous delays and communication problems, apparently due to the company overbooking projects after a difficult winter. We never really knew when workers would show up, and there were long stretches of time when no work was done at all. We understand that sometimes challenges arise, but it appeared to us that those challenges were not managed effectively, at least where our project was concerned. Consistent communication probably would have helped. But again, we are happy with the porch.

Recent Review: We searched a long time for the right contractor for our front railings. Jeff and Riccardo were fantastic. They provided detailed estimates and were able to answer all our questions. They also adjusted on the fly and we able to make a custom solution for us with beautiful wood railings with aluminum balusters. We've gotten multiple compliments from friends how sharp it looks. We have two small kids and were very concerned to be going into winter without railings (we are 33 steps from the street). Jeff was able to squeeze us in before the end of season. Riccardo and his team were out in the freezing temps finishing the railings. Everything came out great; communications were smooth throughout; and cleanup was perfect. I'd highly recommend this company - we plan to use them for home improvement projects in the future.

Recent Review: Awesome job done by Wagner and team. They were prompt, professional and clean. The overall project was quoted as about two weeks, but due to weather and unforeseen circumstances (my home was built on ledge and it took a long time for them to dig the holes for the concrete, completely understandable), took approximately 3 weeks. Every evening, the team left the yard clean and tidy. The workmanship is excellent. We LOVE our new porch. Furthermore Wagner was extremely easy to work with and provided us several options to meet our budget as well. I highly recommend them and will no doubt be in contact with them for any future projects.

Recent Review: Because of all the wonderful reviews on Angies List, my husband and I decided to go with Lenny to demolish our rear porch and install a new porch of composite. We also needed to have a new storm door installed. Lenny came by promptly, assessed the work needed,discussed the different types and colors of the composite that was the best for our rear porch, which is open to the elements. He urged me to go to Home Depot to see what I thought about the brand recommended and colors. Later that afternoon, he emailed us an estimate and a detailed contract that explained very clearly the work and cost of the project. Upon review, we called and arranged to have the work done by him. After demolition of the old porch,it became clear that more intensive repair needed to be made in the foundation beneath the porch. Lenny again promptly gave us an estimate and a new contract to cover the additional work. Lenny and Matt arrived early each day and when they left took all the debris along with them. They completed the job in a timely manner and I cannot recommend them highly enough. If reasonable pricing, great honest professional advice, and years of carpentry skills are what you are looking for, do yourself a favor and hire this company. You will not be disappointed. I will be using Lenny again.
