We had an excellent experience with Cape Cod Radon Services. James is clearly an expert on radon mitigation, and the system he installed reduced the radon readings to practically zero. He handled the whole job efficiently and, as opposed to other radon contractors who wouldn't start work until we provided a dedicated electrical circuit, James brought his own electrician to install the circuit. I wholeheartedly recommend James and Cape Cod Radon Services.

great. John Spokis was so easy to work with he solved our radon problem quickly and effectively. took a couple hours to install two pipes in unfinished parts of basement and run pipe along exterior of house. Radon level went from 5.6 to 0.5. HIGHLY recommend radon systems.

"Steve the Radon Man" responded to calls quickly, arrived exactly as scheduled and called back with the test results immediately after picking up the radon measuring equipment. While the results were "normal", he asked if we were planning on removing the existing basement floor tiles (answer: yes) and installing a new one because the existing floor tiles also functioned as a radon seal. His suggestion led us to investigate the topic more and helped us to make sure that the new floor would also serve as a radon seal. Excellent suggestion!; and one that we would not have known to investigate otherwise.

Recent Review: Dennis is very knowledgeable. He walked me through the whole process when he came to workup an estimate. He answered all my questions. Due to an addition, it was determined that I needed an 2nd suction point thus a more expensive install (but still reasonable). That is something that I wouldn't have been aware of if I had gone with the telephone estimate that I got from another vendor. It would have been an unpleasant surprise if the other vendor came for an install and then increased the price. Every home is different so I was happy that Dennis had come out to do an estimate. I was able to prepare for the install by clearing the area where the work would be done. It allowed for an orderly move of boxes versus paying them to move the boxes or they waiting around until the area was cleared. I was very happy with the actual installation. There was no mess that I had to clean up. The set-up was very neat and professional. The system began to work immediately. The radon levels are now in the acceptable range. I would highly recommend Boston Radon.
Recent Review: Called company based on Angie's list ratings. I received a complete discription of Air Radon Mitigation methods, Standards required, and Aand R's prices. Also told Aand R is certified for both air and water Radon mitigation services and equipment. Price includes repeat Air Radon Test(started immediately after their installation. Team of certified installers arrived(Aand R employees, not indepent contractors) promptly. They answered multiple questions before and after installation. Complete explanations given after installation about equipment, when to call, etc. Very impressed overall; personnel (including offce staff) professional patiently answering questions. Receptionist (or office employee) provided reference to National/ International standards organization so I could evaluate. Promptly reported repeat test results. Note: EPA standards which were listed at the bottom of results report based on 'average Radon Level' from all home living areas: Repeat test only done in a finished basement room, NOT on Main level or Second floor level.
Recent Review: We are in the process of buying a house in Everett, MA. Jackson Home Inspection was very quick in responding to e-mails, especially since we were working on a very tight timeframe. Our inspection was with Josh, and he did a great job. He was very thorough and documented everything well. When I had a question about one item, he quickly e-mailed a response back that answered my question. The house we're planning on buying needs some work, but I feel much more confident in the purchase after walking through every single area with the inspector and watching him test all accessible areas. He also gave some practical advice about what is an immediate danger, and what are warning signs that we should monitor.

Super Service Award Recent Review: Requested a quote. Site visit was conducted. Received a quote for the work that met all of my requirements. AIRaider system was installed connected to our water treatment system and vented outside of house. Electrical connection to house service box was made. I was impressed with the detail and precision of the work. Followup questions I had on system operation when on generator were answered quickly and completely.
