Boston Weather Stripping Installation

Following a MassSave audit, about 6 months ago Hugh's insulated our garage. We were very pleased with their work. When we decided to do additional work and insulate our attic, I called Tom again to arrange for Hugh's to do the work. It went very well. I would definitely recommend them to others.

We made the appointment long before we knew that New England would still be cleaning up from a big storm. Bruce telephoned a couple of times to confirm that we wanted to proceed on as scheduled, and that the driveway would be clear so he could get his truck off the road. He is a perfectionist who spend a long time getting the weather stripping just right, and adjusting the latch plate on our entry door so that both bolts engaged properly. He installed high-quality weather stripping on two doors into the garage. He looked at our windows and at the pull-down stairs to our attic and made helpful suggestions.

The guys were very punctual and polite. They worked all day with just a short lunch break. I will be having them back for some more work in the future.

Steve was great. He completed all of our projects with ease. The door was by far the most tricky, but he was able to remove the door, plane it down, and replace it on the hinge. He also added weather stripping to ensure a tight seal. He cleaned-up impeccably and even primed the areas of the door which were shaved down.

They were very thoughtful to leave the weather-stripping tacked on and not fully nailed so that the garage door installers could maneuver the new doors in place. They were on time and very clean.

Roger's came to do the insulation for our entire house via the Mass Save program. They were excellent! They spent three days on the job in the dead of winter and blew insulation in all the exterior walls plus laid insulation in the entire attic. They were prompt and explained everything to us and cleaned up after their work. They did a wonderful job! We have already recommended them to a neighbor who is doing insulation work. The best!

Appointment making with office and owners was professional and flexible with my schedule, all questions and issues were discussed in advance and answered to my satisfaction. The two man crew arrived on time and did the work in a very professional manner and completed it all ahead of schedule with all work completed. The clean up was excellent and when they left no one would know any work had been performed. The price was as agreed and I can't say enough about the crew that was here in terms of the professional and competent manner they completed the job. I am in the Mass save program and one of the recommendations was to have the house insulated. I had a list of providers given to me by the Mass save auditor. The first company I called was close by and I figured I would give them a try. I called, told them what had to be done and they came out to give me an estimate. I met the man at my house and after telling him of the trouble spots in this possible project he walked thru to assess the project. After a short time of looking at the area needing the work and also a short time on his cell phone he gave me the run around of why they couldn't do it. I was extremely upset that this company had wasted my time. I called my Mass Save auditor and he said to go to another company because that the company just didn't want the job. I did and called Dolphin. From the moment the salesman came in to my home he was very positive and straight forward on what they will do. I felt great after the previous experience with the other insulation company. They showed up on the day of the project on time and with a plan on how to get the job done. I was very impressed that one of the owners was the leader of the project. She was extremely professional and showed passion for her company that I find admirable. She explained that her foreman had an accident and the crews were being spread thin with the loss of this foreman for a short time. She was there to supervise and pitched in to make sure I was happy with the project and service. I am very satisfied and have a great respect for her. This job was done following a Massave audit (which I recommend!), and the majority of the cost was covered by the Massave program. Thus, the price above does not reflect the full cost of the work. The service was smooth and efficient. It was a two-day job, and they finished in exactly the amount of time that was estimated before the job started. The crew was polite, and the work was thorough. They were at the house alone for most of both days, locked up after they were done, and we never had a doubt about their integrity. Couldn't ask for more!

,Excellent experience. During the estimate appointment, Rob was precise and clear about my options, which I appreciated very muh because my attic is a complicated space. He and his crew arrived promptly, did the work in the time estimated and cleaned up thoroughly.. Bonus for me is that he's a diehard dog lover. I have dogs that like to be near the action and he and his crew were great with them.

On the day of the job it was extremely cold and temperature was below zero. The workers were very professional. they cover all the areas which needed work with cloth and also cover their shoes. There was no disruptions and inconvenience to us in any way. The lead technician was very thorough and took time to explain exactly what they were doing. We have a small dog and they were very understanding. They completed the job on time and as promised. We were extremely happy with Dolphin's employees and their professionalism. This company was recommended by our neighbor and we are very happy that we chose them to do the job.
