Roger has been very responsive and has been great to do business with so far. We purchased a hot tub and are waiting for the delivery in a few weeks. With my work schedule it was difficult to find time to call Roger with my questions but he made it very easy by answering all my questions via email which worked out great for my schedule. I must have had a dozen emails with Roger and he was great at answering them all back very quickly and very detailed answers, not the one line of yes or no. Roger was great at explaining the different features of each model. Roger has a "showroom" which is based out of his house. I live down the street and never thought I would buy a hot tub from someone selling out of their house but being a small business owner I realized these are sometimes the best places to buy from. You have more of a one on one interaction with the sales person (Roger), we were the only ones there to view and sit in the hot tubs and we were not rushed at all. He was able to work around my work schedule so we could come in a little later in the evening when most places are closed. There is also a lot less of a chance a business out of a persons home will go out of business since there is less overhead, no monthly rent for a storefront. My wife and I appreciated Roger's honest opinions and was glad to see he wasn't a normal sales person pushing extra options. We are buying extra add-ons in the end but it was great to not be hounded with them like a few other stores we visited. At first it was odd since I didn't realize what his approach was to selling. I'm so use to sales people being overly excited, a little pushy, and almost very fake that it was nice to have a more down to earth sales person that was more there to teach us about each model, the color options, give his opinions, etc. It felt like I was talking to a friend that knew about hot tubs which was great. I didn't intend to purchase a hot tub from him the same day we went down there but it felt like the right choice. I looked at multiple other showrooms and online sites which says a lot that we ended up purchasing from Roger. I'll update the review once I receive the hot tub and start using it.

Mike responded within a day after I left a message. He came out a few days later and examined the hot tub and confirmed my suspicions that the pump was defective. He ordered a new pump which took a week and returned promptly to replace the unit. He was prompt, attentive and courteous. I would have him service my spa anytime and highly recommend him.

Two months past the service date and my hot tub is not yet fixed. One part was ordered, they came back and it wasn't the issue. Then another part was ordered and they called for us to be home for service. We had to empty the hot tub and we waited all day and no one showed up. We called twice and no service people responded. We now have to find another company to help us. Will never call again.

I visited the Store in Shrewsbury and asked for a quote on the Hydropool 395 and the Lazyboy Rejoice. I was told that qoutes only come after I pay $135. When I asked for a quote including only: Spa cover, Cover lift, Initial chemicals, Steps, Training class, Handrails, Delivery to spot, the saleswoman responded that she can only give me the quote after a $135 deposit. As the spa quote is right now, it is totally unacceptable. They are requiring me to PAY $135 before I even get to see the Spa Quote. That is unreal and is Not The Norm in industry.

We weren't home while the techs were on site, so don't know in detail what was done. They came out to look at the hot tub and then called me afterward to tell me what was wrong and what the cost would be. The costs seemed fairly reasonable and easily explained (this much for the part, this much for labor). The only issue was that after they replaced the part the hot tub still wasn't working. We had them come back out and they were able to fix it in a single visit, but can't quite remember what was done. They gave me information, but its been a while so I forget exact details. They were easy to work with and prices seemed fair although I have no basis of comparison. The cost of service used above includes all three visits. My only complaint is that it would have been nicer if they had realized it still wasn't working after the 2nd visit so that they didn't have to come out again, but overall I would recommend and use them again. I'm sure its possible that a check was done and no issues were found - it only stopped working again afterward.

Both Steve and Frank at Hydro-Tech were great. Steve came over to our house to look at our backyard and helped us decide where we should locate the Hot Tub. Steve did this even before we had decided to buy the Hot Tub from them. The pricing was very aggressive and the Hot Tub got delivered exactly when they said they would. They even called our electrician to let him know they were leaving to make the delivery so the electrician could meet them at our house. They set everything up and took time to explain everything and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend buying a Hot Tub from Hydro-Tech.

We bought our hot tub in 2000 from New England spas. After warranty ran out, we discovered Hydrotech. They have been out a couple times to service tub. Their costs are far less than NEspas and the quality of work is comparable. Our heater was tripping the circuit and they came to fix it quickly. They don't try to oversell you and they are courteous and professional.

We originally had bought our hot tub from New England Spas several years ago and had been happy with their service. When the hot tub recently kept turning off without reason, we did some investigation and believed the problem to be a faulty temperature sensor. We called and scheduled an appointment with them for the following week. The service technician came out without us needing to be there and did all the work earlier than expected. He only charged us transportation cost as the hot tub had just gone off warranty the week before. We were extremely happy with the whole process from scheduling the appointment to them coming and performing the work.

Recent Review: After calling several well rated spa repair companies R&R was the first to answer their phone - which was not a surprise given that I was calling the week between two major holidays. I told the person who answered the phone that the heater died in my hot tub and I wanted a service appointment to get it repaired. I relayed that I diagnosed the failure to the heater since if I turned the set temperature below that of the water both pumps would operate however as soon as the temperature was raised and the heater turned on it would trip the breaker. They agreed that was indicative of heater failure and that the earliest a service tech would be able to arrive was the following week. She also recommended putting a space heater in the equipment compartment to prevent the water from freezing. I was also asked my model of hot tub which I had to call back to tell them. I was surprised the day they were to arrive that they did not give me a call to give a service window, this was not something they promised but I guess I just expected. When the tech showed up that morning he also diagnosed the failure to the heater but that they did not keep my model of heater in stock. I was again a bit surprised since I had told them my exact year, make and model of tub along with the problem and that they did not order a heater or at least ask if I wanted them to order one that I would have to buy either way since they did not normally stock them. I received a call back later that same day telling me the cost of the heater, that it would be in within a few days and that they would call me to schedule the appointment for the following week. A week later when I had not heard back from them I called only to find out they were closed for vacation. I later found out the tech was stopping in while they were on vacation looking for the part to come in and it got delayed in shipping. The following week the heater came in and an appointment was scheduled. The appointment day came, the tech installed the heater only to find it was faulty - obviously this is no fault of theirs. They ordered a new heater and scheduled a follow up appointment for the week after. This final appointment was successful and the hot tub was operational. They did right by me and did not charge me for the second attempt to install the heater. All said and done R&R did a good job. My suggestions for improvement would be to be a bit more communicative with appointment windows and when a timeline is getting missed as well as giving people a option to buy a part if they are confident in their diagnosis.

There wasn't anything that really stood out, but they did what they were supposed to do and that was that. They were five minutes early and they didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need. Recent Review: I found Clear Water through Angies List about 6 months ago when i needed to find someone to clean, repair and refill my hot tub. They were so good, that I called them again now for the winter service. They responded to my service request within a day. Not only did they schedule an appointment immediately, but they also accommodated my need to reschedule in a timely manner. The service person called a half hour before showing up and was on time. He explained what he was dfoing and made recommendations based on our use of the hot tub. I actually learned quite a bit about how to use the chemicals and to keep my hot tub in good shape. I felt that the service was outstanding and I only hope that they will be in business for a long time so that I can use them more over the years.
