very well - it was a bit of a drawn out process, since we had to have inspectors involved, but Natalie waited here while I had to go run an errand. Bill knew what he was doing and it's been working great! A couple years ago i had them come out and look at the air conditioner. They did a through inspection and couldn't find anything wrong. I was assured all was ok and didn't worry about getting told I needed false repairs. Basically, I trust them to do the work.

Jeffrey Olivier and his assistant came to fix my gas fireplace. The pilot was on but the fire wouldn’t light. It was a system they weren’t very familiar with. They tried various things, made phone calls for support and referred to the manual, and finally got it working. They spent a lot of time and didn’t give up. They were very polite and professional. I would highly recommend Cotti-Johnson.

A few years ago we bought a house with a small gas wall fireplace. We wanted to have it serviced to make sure it was in good working order. They charged $250 to come out and take it all apart and clean and adjust it. When they put it back together it looked better than before. We also bought a remote start, so now we have a remote control and I can turn the fire on and off from across the room, which is super handy if I have a sleeping cat on my lap. :)

As central heating has evolved over the last 100+++ years, many of the venting systems/chimneys have not received proper if any updates. They are often overlooked (out of sight out of mind). In many homes original chimneys were built to be used much differently than what is needed nowadays. As your heating units change- from oil to gas or even coal; or the efficiency/btu output changes; or by adding or removing units, so should the exhaust system/chimney be updated to conform to current units manufacturers recommendations and requirements in order to function safely and efficiently. Many original chimneys are no longer suitable to vent the kind of heating units widely used nowadays.
We use only 2-ply smooth-wall stainless steel Flue liners (greatly exceeds all IRC/NFPA requirements), as opposed to the majority of chimney companies that use code-minimum products (single ply or aluminum) for their customers. Although it does meet the minimum code requirements they are inferior in many ways. We use only UL listed material and offer a Lifetime Guarantee on the parts as well as a Lifetime Guarantee on the installation. Due to our volume we are always comparable if not lower in cost to our competitors using cheaper material.
