The service was great. I had a timer switch that I could not get to work properly. It was part of a three-switch control of a hallway light and something was wrong. The guys identified that the problem was a bad switch (as opposed to my own inexpert wiring) and that the replacement switch I had in the wings would only work with modern house wiring, not the 100 yr old wiring in my house. (Old houses do not have neutral wires.) In the end, they didn't "fix" anything, but they put in a temporary switch that let us operate the lights manually for a time, and explained what kind of timer switch and connection was needed to make it work in the future. The electrician and his apprentice were on time, friendly, quick, knowledgeable, and helpful. Actually, the hardest part of working with them was using the Angie's List prepaid service. The Angie's List website did not acknowledge that I had purchased the service and I ended up clicking twice and getting charged twice. Dignan helped remove the extra charge with no fuss. Dignan did accidentally send me a bill (despite the fact that I prepaid through Angie's List), but that too was resolved quickly and with no fuss.
