Marlene was terrific! We spent the first part of the 3-hour session troubleshooting some of the problem areas of our home - basically the kids' drop zones, the basement storage areas, and our dining room which is also our makeshift home office. She gave me a lot of great insights about how to streamline these areas and maximize how they were functioning in our small space. Then we tackled a closet I have in the dining room which was crammed with everything from overflow kitchen supplies, to office materials, recyclables, rarely used serveware and some long-forgotten wedding gifts (we've been married 15 years). Marlene helped me pull everything out and sort, helping streamline that process by giving me permission to let go of things I wasn't using (including taking them away to a thrift shop she uses). She helped me make efficient decisions on where the rest of it should go. The closet was put back together within about 2 hours and is a great, functional space now. Turns out that closet had been causing me (and my spouse) a lot of anger and resentment, and to have it all organized and dispensed with has been a gift. Marlene is so upbeat and personable, it was like having a girlfriend over for coffee - but better, because I got so much done. I would definitely hire Marlene again!

Judy and I started in the basement. Some belongings went into the trash, some to recylcing and some to re-use. The room was re-arranged and items were categorized. There is now more space and Items are grouped better. It was previously out of control. We then moved upstairs to living areas and did the same thing, down to the minutiae of papers. I am getting cleared out and going forward I have a system that looks like it will work. Judy has very good suggestions for dealing with things in the house and with the flow of more that will come in (mail) so I don't get to where I was. Additionally, Judy is very easy to work with and directs me in a way that is very effective. She is like a shepherd. Judy is getting me to where I need to go and steers me the right way.

I have used the services of a company called "Sort It Out Now". She charges by the hour. The charges are depended on what you do and how long it takes. I want to give her the most glowing recommendation I can. Imagine yourself as a disorganized person and inviting someone into your home is a little intimidating as to what is going to happen. She is extremely well to keep, very effective, very easy to work with, gets things done, doesn't make you feel like what a mess you are. She is just delightful. We keep exchanging emails trying to keep in touch. She is very easy and accommodating to work with. She gets amazing things done. The pricing was commensurate with what she got done.

Petra has been a true pleasure to work with. She is incredibly professional, personable and detail-oriented. Having moved into a new home, she helped me to organize my closets and clothes drawers, book shelves, kitchen cupboards and drawers, etc. She was a huge help in getting me feeling organized and caught up setting up my house. In addition, Petra helped find or oversee a number of home repairs for me- electrical work, HVAC work, carpentry, roofing, fireplace, etc. She found very good vendors to provide the work or assisted with the ones I chose. On days that I couldn't get away, Petra would be at my house to greet the vendors, oversee their work, and frequently touch base with me regarding their progress and quality. Petra really made my life easier when I simply couldn't be at home to deal with all the work being done. In addition, when I had a number of house guests to stay, Petra was available to do shopping and set up the house in preparation for their arrival. What a wonderful and thorough resource when you're too busy to do it yourself!

Away It Goes

This was the third day that Away it Goes has organized rooms in our home. She's done a terrific job so far, with two rooms left to go. The rooms were horribly disorganized, and full of junk, and she did a tremendous job of helping us sort out the junk from the items we want to keep, which she then organized. We feel comfortable with her in our home. The work was done quickly and efficiently. We were amazed by the speed. We look forward to working with Away it Goes to organize the remaining rooms in our home.

Overall, the experience has been great. The owner is very professional and personable. She was recommended to me by a co-worker. The first visit, she told me what she could help out with. The prices that were quoted were very reasonable. They’ve been very consistent, considerate and professional. Once, they even helped me locate at least $200 in cash that I was missing; they separated it and left it right on my desk. None of my items have ever gone missing and they seem to be very honest. There are some rooms in which I don’t want to tackle yet, which she respects. The rooms that she has cleaned are spotless. Luciana will actually show up every now and then during the cleanings, find a room that she wants to focus on and clean that. She will sort through everything and throw out appropriate items. She then leaves a note to let me know and she’s very open to feedback. She’s easily available and anytime I have to contact her, I can do so via text. Lucicana and her crew done excellent work and continue to do excellent work! I’ve even recommended them to my mother.

For me, home organization is an ongoing process. It's not perfect yet, but my home now functions well. I'm able to put things "away" instead of just putting them where they'll fit. I can get things done around the house, which I haven't been able to do in a long time. Felicia's energy and humor are contagious, and it's fun to work with her. She asks very good questions, listens to my answers, and helps me design systems and spaces that will work for how I do things. Working with Wits End Organizing was a great experience. I have worked with her on home organization projects and to help prepare for a big move. Pricing is very reasonable and we got a lot done in a basic three hour session. She really helped in making those "keep or sell" type decisions, pushing right up to, but never beyond, my comfort level. All of the work we did was team work, taking my ideas and needs into account, which made it easier to keep the organization up long-term. She was also great at giving options for the items I did decide to get rid of, from helping plan a yard sale to arranging for convenient charity pick-ups.

Felicia is a ball of energy when it comes to decluttering and organizing. She’s a blast to work with – she always has a smile on her face, she hums a little tune as she works, she asks pointed questions (e.g., “Why are you keeping this? “Do you really need 200 paper bags? Are you ever going to wear this 20-year-old jacket again?” etc.), and she gets down on the floor and plows through clutter in no time. I hired her back in 2018 to help us organize and declutter in anticipation of moving, and she worked wonders in a matter of hours. As an added bonus, her service included taking bags of decluttered stuff with her for donation, recycling, and disposal. She’s extremely handy, too, so she even did some furniture repair for us. As it turned out, we didn’t move until 2021, but the joy and relief I felt living in an organized house was life changing! When we finally did put our house on the market 3 years later, it was easy because of the excellent job Felicia had done for us previously. Once we moved, I again hired Felicia, this time to help unpack and organize our new home. Felicia is a true gem, and I highly recommend her!

I've worked with Felicia extensively over the years. She has helped me to put systems in place to help keep my home organized. I never feel judged or shamed with her - she just rolls up her sleeves and gets to work. She's like the energizer bunny - always moving, always working, always trying to make my home function better. She also has a very good eye for design and decorating - she helped me pick out paint colors for my walls and then helped with some of the painting as well. Working with her was always fun - we were laughing and organizing at the same time! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone that needs painting or organizing done.

I originally hired Felicia to clean and organize my basement. It was an unusable disaster. It took us about 15 hours but when it was done, it was AMAZING. She organized it for ME, so that I could keep it organized and clean. It was such a powerful experience I hired her to do every room in the house. It was the best thing I've ever done for myself. I now know where everything is and I put it back where it belongs so I can find it again. Sounds so simple but it's not easy to do on your own. For me it was impossible to do on my own. Felicia works with you to make a plan that works for the way you think so you can stick to the plan. She also has an art background so things are beautiful as well as organized. She's a miracle worker!

Debby met with us on two separate occasions. The first was a consultation visit where we went over our expectations and brainstormed with her as to how we could rearrange and organize the space. She gave us some ideas of things we could do immediately to give us more space. This consultation process lasted about an hour and Debby left us with her very reasonable pricing structure to think about. We set up time with Debby for the next Saturday to come and start the work. It was great that she was so flexible and willing to work on a Saturday. Debby arrived on time and ready to work. She had my husband and me working in different areas while she worked on a third area. She made sure to consult with us if we planned on keeping/discarding anything. She helped us move some large items upstairs and in 4 hours, our downstairs looked amazing. Debby was willing to take the items that we wanted to donate.Overall, we are very glad we hired Debby and will think of her for our future home organization projects!

Recent Review: I needed efficient storage options for a small in- law apartment that we were building. I considered California Closets but I knew that they were quite expensive. I googled closet organizer companies and after reading good reviews I contacted Closets etc. The rep made an appointment and listened to my needs/wants. I promptly received a proposed design and quote via email. The price was reasonable and the installation was scheduled within a week or so. The installer was professional and timely. I am very happy with the finished product and have recommended this company to friends.

Recent Review: Rob is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He arrived promptly in the first day and we went over my todo list. He explained which repairs were necessary, which could be delayed to a lets date, and which were actually a bad idea. He then went to work. Two days later I had a beautiful tile floor -- you couldnt even tell where the repairs were made -- and space in the garage to park a car. Rob was great about the fact that I had three little kids running around (the repairs were in the center area of the house) and helped me with minimizing the impact. When the job was done, Rob carefully reviewed instructions for future maintenance with me. I'm very happy with the work Rob did and will definitely call him again for any future jobs.

Recent Review: I am a busy CEO with four kids and needed somebody who could help with cleaning and organizing and running the occasional errand. I can’t say enough about how terrific the service is - they are responsive, have great initiative and are completely reliable. The great thing is that you can give them an overview of what you want done and they figure out the details. Follow up is excellent also. Just fabulous service.

Recent Review: From the moment I called Revel to get a quote until the end of the project, they were very polite and professional. They patiently answered all of my questions. The owner, Jeff, even called me the first day of the project and explained to me exactly how long it will take and the timelines. Ryan was the sales person who came to the house the first time and he is clearly very knowledgeable. They did not pressure me into signing a contract with them after Ryan gave me the quote which, for me is important. Recent Review: Before I worked with Erika, I had hired an organizer to help me as I moved in my new apartment in Cambridge, MA. I found it was more like my mom coming over to help me clean. While it was effective, there weren't many guiding principles or habits that stuck once she left. My biggest pet peeve is having a cluttered house and I felt like my apartment was getting there. When I hired Erika, my goals were to create more minimalism and peaceful serenity in my home. If my home were to be organized, it would feel like my life was more together. What I found to be true with Erika was that there was a true *lifestyle* change in regards to how I lived in my home space and how I thought about my belongings. It was one of the first times in my life I truly felt at peace with the spaces we organized. In fact, one of the primary areas of focus was our master bathroom and after we organized it with Erika, I truly felt like it was clean and organized enough to have dinner in! I first hired Erika for 3 sessions in summer of 2019. About a year later this past October, I hired her for three more sessions. In terms of tranquility and a sense of peace in my home and life, this has been incredibly worth the investment. Erika is not only an organizing coach, she is someone that teaches you a new way of life and guiding principles with regards to how to organize and interact with your living space. I can not recommend her enough.
