ADAMS DOOR SERVICE
At first, the old garage door opener failed and the garage door could not open or close automatically (only manually). I called Richard, he showed up on time on a short notice. He gave us some options and explained the cost and the time needed to do the work. He then came another day (I think it must have within 1-2 days after he came for the damage inspection) and installed the new garage door opener along with an assistant. There were no issues with the installation. He also got rid of the old, electrical wiring that was hanging all over the garage and installed new wiring that was nicely installed so that it is not visible to the eye. The new opener (belt) is definitely much less noisy than the previous (chain) and was worth the extra cost. A few days after the installation, one of the springs broke and I asked him to come back to see if this is related to his work. He explained that he had not touched the springs when he installed the new garage opener and this was a completely different issue, which made sense to me. He installed new springs the next day at the cost of the parts only. He also installed new insulating material around the door for better weather protection for free (he did not want to charge for that). Again he showed up on time and delivered the work on schedule. Overall an excellent experience.

Walpole Doors
The doors are far superior to the wooden doors we had previously. The insulation cuts down the draft significantly and the doors look better and are much quieter than the old doors when operating and the insulation cuts down on street noise. He arrived on time to install them and his service was great. They were meticulous about cleaning up after the installation. We have used Walpole Doors a number of times in the past to service our old wooden doors and they always did great work, so we didn't hesitate to use them to replace the doors with new and better ones. We are extremely satisfied and would definitely use Walpole Doors again.

Initally we were not considering an insulation project we were focused on new windows. We had Gerorge from O'sullivan installs giving us a quote on windows and I was showing him some of the tempature variances throughout the house. He suggested having the house properly insulated. He referred me to Rob at Calnan. I called him at 11am (with George) and he was at my house at 4pm (not common for most contractors). I could write a book about how FREAKIN excellent this guys were. Rob provided me a great education on insualtion. He convinced me to avoid mass save which I am glad I did. I paid more to have Calnan do my job because I did not get the mass save $$, however the work was done masterfully. What you pay for it is what you get. Couldn't be happier with Rob and his team. If you are reading this review and considering Rob it is a no brainer. Rob thank you for everyting you were one of the best contractors we have every worked with. If you read this review call me I want to insulate the crawl space where our water pipes are located before the freezing cold comes in about a week. Thanks Again! The crazy family of 5 in Needham!

Zach and Kenny did an absolutely wonderful job. They were extremely punctual, respectful of our home, friendly, and they gave the puppy some love. They explained everything that they were doing and they were very professional. They took extra time when they needed to make sure that things were done right and they were a pleasure to work with. I got estimates from Middlesex and from another company and Middlesex was approximately $900 less expensive for similar doors and identical openers. The installation started on time, though took longer than expected, in part because the installer did not want to go out into the rain for the work that needed to be done outside. Installer determined that some additional wood needed to be added to mount the new door properly and asked if he could use wood that we had available in the garage. One of the wall switches for the openers broken so they had to come back at another time to replace that. We also had problems with one of the doors rubbing and that took two service visits (at no charge) to resolve.

They were professional on the phone and there were no problems with scheduling. They came out immediately after I had purchased the deal. The gentleman was professional and spent about an hour taking measurements. However, they failed to get back to me. He never set up an appointment for the work to be completed. I made about three phone calls and they still never responded. I called Angie’s List and they intervened. The company kept my money and I don’t know what they would have done with it had I not contacted Angie’s List. They could have contacted me and explained they could not do the work. Angie's List has found another company who is willing to honor the deal and they will now be doing the work instead.

I used Rogers as part of the Mass Save insulation and air sealing program. I had several tasks that needed to be completed. Additional cellulose insulation installed in my attic, dense packed cellulose installed in my garage ceiling (living space above), bathroom vent installed through roof, pull down attic door insulation, new door sweeps, and various air sealing throughout the house. Pre-Project: After submitting all my paperwork to Mass Save, Rogers promptly reached out to schedule the install. They were very accommodating and even reschedule my install (due to a construction delay on my end) without issue. Install: The project was scheduled to be a three day project. One the start date a couple crew members were out sick and they had to postpone a day. To ensure the project done on time, they sent in a double crew the next day (without question). When they arrived, the lead installer went over the project and answered any questions I had. The team was hard working, efficient, and clean. They installed drop cloths everywhere and even left my garage cleaner than when they started. I was extremely satisfied with this project. I highly recommend Rogers Insulation and I will definitely choose them again for any future projects,

I got the quote the next day, signed and returned the day after that and a week later I had my new doors installed. Recent Review: It went great. My house is an old 1950's ranch with a very strange garage door setup. It required careful planning to design and install a low-overhead door system that would fit into the space provided by the older door. Jay from Goodrow came out and was a pleasure to work with. He explained all the options, told me what the difficulties were, and let me choose from a variety of models in a catalog. A couple weeks later the door was ready to install, and he came out and installed it in a couple hours. The quality is very high, with careful attention paid to sealing the door against drafts. The door is also quiet an nicely insulated -- our garage is now much warmer in the winter, which means the room above it is no longer an icebox. I highly recommend them for prompt, quality service and responsiveness, as well as what I found to be a fair price (they were actually a little bit cheaper than the competitors I had come out to give estimates, yet considerably more professional).
