I was very unhappy how the work was done on my boiler. A technician came out and told me it wasn't working because I needed more oil (I had over 1/4 tank) and that should solve it. I had to pay $100 fee for an emergency oil delivery. It still did not work. They were no longer open so they sent an emergency technician out. I had to pay another service fee and the overtime rate. Not pleased.

you can also see my review in yelp. I called for someone to look at some boiler repair work and plumbing upgrades for my heating system. They came on a Friday AM and told me that I would get an email estimate by Monday. Nothing came so I called on Tuesday AM and the secretary told me that she would call the plumbers and get right back to me. This is Thursday and no one has called. If you don't want the work be a professional and tell the customer. They made a good first impression but a lousy lasting impression.

A Fagundes Plumbing & Heating Inc
Problem with boiler. It stopped working and was blowing cool air. Called for service. First visit, said nothing was wrong and charged $90. Problem continued. Called again. Second visit, change igniter and charged 600$ Problem persisted. Called again. Returned to clean the system. Waived fee when I complained. Problem continued, so we got in touch again. Responded " This is high tech, could be several problems, we can try different things but we cannot guarantee we can fix the problem." They should have told me this from day one before spending 700$. It could be from 100 to several thousand dollars with no guarantee that the problem will be fixed. Serviced the unit one year ago with this company and it was all ok, no problems at all. Last two emails, no response from this company.

Quarry Hills Plumbing & HVAC
We discovered on Sunday that the heat wasn't working. Fortunately the weather wasn't bitterly cold, but I wanted to line up a repair person ASAP. Based on positive reviews here and on Yelp, I called Quarry Hills. Bill asked whether we were desperate to get it fixed on the weekend, or if we could wait until Monday. I told him we could wait a day, and he said he'd come at 9:00 Monday morning. On Monday, he was running just a bit late (10 minutes) and called to let me know, which I appreciated. He completed the work promptly and his price was very reasonable (cheaper than the same repair carried out by another firm back in 2008). I would definitely recommend him.

Good - they showed up as scheduled and evaluated systems on new home I had purchased. Fixed a problem with the boiler and added some drains for AC system. Overall service was good, techs were professional and friendly. I think they are on the high side for cost but could be a case of getting what you pay for. Being a new owner have little basis of comparison but have been told I could do better price-wise but again that's anecdotal.

Mike was very professional and worked with me to get a replacement from the manufacturer. I had called the manufacturer earlier but they were not responsive. Mike was able to get a new replacement unit and Installed it within 1 day. Ended paying only for installation of the new unit. Great service

I spent nearly a month trying to get a plumber to do some fairly minor work at my house. I called at least four plumbers, and none of them returned my phone calls. My fifth try was Peter Theriault, who does business as Personalized Plumbing and Heating. It was several days before he got back to me, but hey, at least he did. When we set a date/time to do the work, he showed up promptly. None of it was complicated work, so I can't really speak to Peter's technical prowess, but he did a good job. He managed to identify an incorrect valve in the line running to my fridge, an issue that had flummoxed an earlier plumber. He had a good attitude, and I thought he was fair in his pricing.

Hot water and heat stopped working on a Friday - it is a year and a half old. . My calls to the original installer resulted in them offering to send someone to look at it after a lot of arguing - but they wanted me to pay time and a half - $193/hr. they stop work at 3pm. I called the manufacturer who gave me the names of companies that service this particular system. This time I checked Angie's list. By the time I called it was after 4pm. Rob called me back within an hour. He came on Monday. He found that the system was incorrectly installed and walked me through the problems. Although he could fix it he suggested I call the original installer because of the cost. He also offered to talk with the other company and go over the problem. What a difference from the original installer. I will use him always in the future to maintain the system. And I learned my lesson - check Angie's list and do due diligence on who you hire!

We were lucky to have met John during an emergency repair to a septic line that got cracked. He was actually the only one out of about 20 plumbers I called that understood the severity of the situation and agreed to come immediately. As it happened we were in the middle of a basement finishing project and decided to have the heat system and water heater replaced in addition to adding a zone of heat. We had already received four or five estimates from other plumbers that ranged widely and John's numbers were the best - which was fortunate because he instilled the most confidence in us by far! We couldn't recommend John more highly, honest and fair businessman, incredibly skilled plumber and a very nice guy to boot. Our new heat/hot water combo unit install is a work of art.
