Reached business on 1st attempt. Scheduled next day service. Representative arrived 15 minutes late but promptly went to work and completed job in a timely fashion. During the job, the individual did take several calls from co-workers concerning other jobs but this did not affect the work on my shower to a great degree. Individual was personable and knowedgeable.

Donnie came about 2 hrs later than expected but apologised for being late. He was thorough and explained the job, though did charge me 289 dollars for fixing one leaking faucet, which seemed excessive, and I felt the Angies list deal was being 'made to pay'. Also interestingly they added a very unusual clause to the warranty (they knew I dont have an expansion tank and in the warranty he wrote no warranty if no expansion tank!! He should have told me this before starting the job)

I have an older home with copper plumbing and outdated faucets. Hunter was able to come in and solder in a modern Faucet with no problem. Very communicative and professional. Looking forward to using his services in the future.

Shower Faucet with Exaggerated Leak. I tried to replace the cartridge myself. Got down to the final step, which was to remove a ring holding the cartridge in place. My home is 15 yrs old and the corrosion was extensive and I could not loosen the ring safely. If you are not careful, the copper pipes in the back could bend, therefore causing a huge problem. DIY is great, but you have to know when to say when and at this point the water to my entire house had to remain off until I was able to replace this cartridge. Hummm....so I called Wilbur at 3pm. They have 24/7 hour service, and were willing to come out after hours that same day or first thing the next morning. I chose the next morning. They had a big job following my repair, so two workers came to my home. This was a one man job, but while one replaced the cartridge, the other worker took it upon himself to check my overall water pressure, my home filtration system, and my electric water heater. It was determined that my expansion tank on my water heater was not working properly, so he replaced the expansion tank. The technician showed me why it wasn't working, and how to check the new tank for proper function. This additional discovery may have saved me from having a more complex problem with my water heater in the near future. The technicians were very professional, wore shoe covers while working, used computer tablets; which I appreciate, especially for looking at the history of my account if I need them in the future. The cartridge replacement/labor was 310.00 and the expansion tank replacement/labor was 214.00. If I had been able to replace the cartridge myself it would have cost me 40.00, so I will say that I did have to take a deep breath when he told me the cost. However there were 2 factors that I had to consider, 1) I had NO water, and 2) I did not have time to check Angie's List that afternoon. This company does offer a 10% discount to members (note to self). I needed help ASAP and called a neighbor whose opinion I valued and she recommended Wilbur. I have not needed a plumber in many years, so in all due fairness, I do not know the current rates for this industry, but you certainly get what you pay for. I absolutely was not disappointed with their service and will call on them again. I believe in developing relationships with small businesses that you believe in. Loyalty works both ways and I do think that this company appears to serve our community well. Happy Customer!!

Installing faucets were more money than originally estimated. However, newer plumbing could not be match with older plumbing. I was showed each time what the problems were before continuing service which I appreciated. The two plumbers that came were very professional and cleaned up after themselves.(Michael and Darryl). As for the price of job done, I have nothing to compare it with. You really do not know the repair cost until you break it down.

Had an after hour emergency when the shower stem came out and water started flooding the bathroom. The water had to be turn off at the junction outside. Spoke with Johnny after hours and he sent someone right out. Chris accessed the situation, went to lowes and replaced both stems. It was awesomely expedient..

The man was extremely professional and well attired. He was knowledgeable as well. My only comment would be that they are obviously forced to try to upsell you service and I do not like that. I told him "I know you have to do this, but I'm not going to be swayed". He still persisted, but the work was done immediately. Overall, I am thrilled with the results. I would absolutely hire them again.

Recent Review: The technicians were slightly late, but the dispatchers did a great job of keeping us informed as to where they were and when to expect them. They very quickly saw the issue and went to get a special tool to solve the issue. They quickly took care of the issue and tried to put everything back together (they could not complete because they did not have a part that was beyond the scope of the service call). I was able to go to a local plumbing supply store and got the part to complete the repair. Overall, a very good experience.
