The repairs went exceptionally well as always. We purchased a screen room from Sheds and More which had to be detached from the siding in order to replace it. Repairs are always great! The crew arrived on time and worked together well. The job site was left clean once the repairs were complete.

Although I did not use Blaker Restorations in the end, I am writing this because I know how hard it is to find a good contractor. I requested wood siding repair bids from seven contractors (not all from Angi). I heard back from five. Two came to the house to talk me into paint and products I didn't request. Alex Blaker was the only contractor that showed up on time and ready to quote a price on what I wanted. His sales pitch was short and to the point, yet detailed. His detail led me to ask the other contractors more questions. Which eliminated another contractor that was going to take short cuts to help keep costs lower. I believe Alex Blaker to be a professional that will provide a job done correctly

Everything went smooth from start to finish and I am very happy with the quality of work and the attention to detail by the whole crew. It took two days to do repairs (rotted door trim and trim boards near siding), power washing, and paint, two days to do the roof and new chimney surround, and a couple of trips out for some touch up work. M & M Roofing re-roofed my Round Rock home in May of 2022 and did an excellent job on this $13K+ project. The same crew also did a separate small siding repair for me a week earlier. Bob Mills is the most attentive, thorough, and honest of the 5 roofing managers I've selected over the years. His bid was competitive but not the lowest -- I've made the mistake in the past of just going with the lowest bidder. This company, M&M, is large enough to be reliable and accountable. Their parent company, also called M&M, is based in Houston but I dealt only with the Austin organization. The crew of 3 finished in 3 1/2 days, an approach I prefer because the quality of workmanship is noticeably more even with a smaller crew. Bob and his area supervisor Dan communicate well, offer good advice, and follow through on promises. I recommend them to family and friends without reservation, and I would use them again

Jason from OnCall emailed ahead of my appointment asking for photos of the siding so he could prepare for the repair. He arrived on time and was friendly, capable and a total pro. It turned out to be a much simpler fix than I expected -- he reattached the siding, improvising a bit with some screws since the original attachment clips were damaged. The repair took him less than 15 minutes so he filled out some of the time I had paid for with a walkaround of my house to check the condition of the rest of the siding and talk about some repairs and modifications I have planned for the future. It was an all-around good experience. Thanks

This was amazing service! I had requested an estimate for some roofing maintenance and repair and was much impressed at the professional and personal skills of Chris. He evaluated our roof and noted that only a few minor repairs were needed on the shingles and siding, and then he did a fantastic job taking care of these issues--tacking down our loose shingles, repairing cracks with silicone, and filling a hole in our siding. We definitely plan to contact Graduate Construction for any future roofing and house repair needs

The guys that Mr. Jones sent were great!! We did have some communication problems with Mr. Jones in the beginning. There were times we expected a worker to show up and no one called us to let us know that they wouldn't. But after talking with Mr. Jones about this, things improved greatly. The carpenter, Justin, who Mr. Jones sent to replace the doors was very professional. He replaced the old doors with ones we had chosen and bought. He also replaced rotted trim around the door frames. We were very pleased with him and the exceptional work. Mr. Jones sent another carpenter, Michael, to repair and paint the house. He too was very professional and did an excellent job. He power washed the house, pulled off siding around the chimney and did all the replacing of lumber, trim and siding. He never did anything without asking us first. Michael was meticulous and worked hard making the house look as perfect as he could. He replaced or repaired the damaged siding and trim. He repaired rotted out portions of the soffits, as well as caulking and sealing leaks around the chimney area that was causing the wood to rot

They came and found the problem with the roof and had the most comprehensive solution to our problem. They also spotted a small problem we had that we did not mention and offered to fix that as well. They were also able to repair the wood on our chimney that was rotting and fixed some vents. They did a fabulous job and had it all done in one day. Our roof looks great and has finally stopped leaking

Everything went well! I was told the exact type of siding to purchase ahead of time in order to do the repair which they were able to determine from a photo of the wood rot. The contractor came on time, was courteous, and finished the job quickly. The side of the house looks as good as new.

I just had some major work done on my house to repair the results of a water leak into the walls at my chimney. Yamil repaired the framework, replaced the sheathing and the siding on the chimney and repaired the sheet-rock on the inside of the wall. When Yamil was done on the outside I had an all new chimney and on the inside I had new sheetrock and paint matched so well you can’t tell there was work done. The work was done professionally and the job site was kept clean. He covered the entire work area inside with protective thick paper to keep floors clean and protected during the work. The work area was cleaned each night before he went home. Yamil was friendly and he took pride in the quality of his work. He is an old school craftsman. I would not hesitate to call on him for any home improvement or repair. Work was finished on estimate and on time

Sent email and received response within a day. We had an onsite estimate within a couple of days. We delayed the work a couple of weeks for vacation but they were onsite the day after we got back. The entire job took 3 days. Everyone on the crew was very friendly and answered our questions. They cleaned up every day and kept the work site in good shape. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd use them again.
