Installation went smoothly. Debbie and Dan (owners) and Donnie helped me with decisions. As soon as decisions were made as to the type of siding and siding and trim colors, installation went quickly and smoothly. I appreciated them replacing areas that needed to be replaced without an extra charge. Donnie even fixed my front door without charge. Payment is done in stages with the progress of the work. Replacement of a cracked window was done in a very timely way! I very much appreciate the courtesy and efficient and reliable work of this 30 year Austin family owned business

I had some issues with the salesperson not reasonably quickly responding to requests for information and providing a formal quote. However the company was willing to work in a unique installation, unlike others I contacted. The actual work was quickly and professionally installed,

The painters were very pleasant and responsive to requests. They installed new outside light fixtures in place of the old ones they had removed in order to paint and they gave me extra time to wash the windows before replacing the sun screens. Very happy with the results.

Titan installed a whopping 36 Simonton windows at my house and did an excellent job. I researched several companies before doing this including Anderson, Pella, Champion, Home Depot, Lowes and a couple of others and Titan was not only the least expensive, they offered more choices. As they are an independent dealer, they are able to install any window and when I asked Mike to give me the best bang for the buck, that's what he delivered. As it happened, he was going to install Viewpoint windows except for a couple of larger ones in our living room in a size they don't make. Mike was able to swing a deal for us to upgrade the entire house to a higher grade Simonton window for about $1500 more so all the windows are the same manufacturer and better as well. I highly recommend them

Stephen gave us an estimate for both siding and windows. Windows were installed first, and they are great. This was an older home, but they were able to make all the windows fit perfectly...even one that had some issues from previous shifting of the house. The crew that did the siding was wonderful. Besides being great installers, they were really nice people. The siding changed the look of the house completely. It looks much more modern. They actually had to replace part of the roof because of damage due to a water leak which they found when they started installing the Hardi plank on the soffit & fascia. You can't even tell where the repair begins or ends. Bought a new porch column, and they installed that, too! They put a new cover on our back patio, as well as made some repairs to an interior door. Stephen has a 'can-do' attitude, and I think that trickles over to his installers

I wanted to convert my two-stall attached garage into a combination living space/utility room and Jon undertook the project. He did the following: * removed the garage door; in its place built a wall with openings for a triple window and a door; placed ZIP sheathing on the outside of that framing; in front of that wall built a cement ledge with a brick and mortar wall on top of it * installed Roxul insulation in the new wall and two of the existing walls * installed drywall on the three walls and several places in the ceiling where it was damaged or missing; taped the seams, applied compound, and sanded * built an uninsulated interior wall with a door opening * applied two coats of Behr paint to all the walls and the ceiling * installed three light/fan combos in the living area and a light in the utility room ceiling * installed Schluter Ditra on the living space floor followed by 17” x 17” porcelain tiles arranged in a diamond pattern and baseboard tiles around the living space perimeter * installed two steel exterior doors and one Larson exterior aluminum door along with their knobs and locks * replaced the attic door with an insulated one from Werner. Everything was done the way I wanted it done. The result was all that I had envisioned. I intend to call on Jon in the future to remodel the interior of my home and maintain its exterior (painting, roofing)

It went great! The windows are beautiful and the installers did an awesome job. The owner even came to the house and personally checked each window to make sure it was working properly and I was satisfied.
Oscar and his installation team did a great job. Removing old roofing and installing new roof. The roof looks great. Crew did an excellent job cleaning up after job was completed. I would recommend CV Roofing LLC to anyone that needs a new roof or repairs.
Very happy with final result. Matthew Lorand Roofing & Restoration was a great partner for my home repair and upgrade vision, and I highly recommend them for roofing, gutters, and restoration work. I had a lengthy list of home repairs and improvements, and I didn't want the headache of evaluating and tracking multiple contractors. Fortunately, Matthew Lorand Roofing & Restoration was able to do everything I asked (Note: again, they don't do insulation, but they worked with me on the timing of cutting out access hole for that insulation upgrade to the normally inaccessible attic space). The crew supervisor occasionally pointed out issues with the ongoing repairs or additional things I may want to repair/replace, but I never felt upsell pressure. Issues: After repairs were completed, I noticed some problems with the back door's sweep. They came out within a few days and fixed the problem. Similar experience with the roof gutters. They always listened and patiently worked with me to make things right. Some days, the crew had left before I had a chance to review the work and point out any issues. If I had specifically asked them to give me a heads-up, I'm sure they would have done that. So that's partially on me. Again, they were very responsive to follow-up repairs, but if it is important to you to review things before they leave, I recommend that you specifically ask for that notice
I have used Clear Choice for repairs in the past and had been very impressed with their customer service and the quality of the work. When it came time for a roof replacement I already knew who to call. They did not disappoint! Matt met the insurance adjuster at my property to establish a working relationship with me and the insurance company. Clear Choice negotiated adjustments with the insurance company and made the process easy for me. The roof installation went very smoothly (in one day) and looks great. I have had neighbors asking me who I used and I am always happy to recommend Clear Choice. It feels great to have a trusted roofer on speed dial - especially given the nightmares I have heard about fly-by-night roofing companies who are not actually locally-based
the project went very well. it was done on time, was professionally performed, and resulted in a new, safe, beautiful roof. mr. randall strachan went above and beyond what was required of him: he replaced, on his own, some wood that was in an unsafe condition so that the job could continue seamlessly and safely
Louis Huggins (the L H Company) has done work on my house several times over the years. He always does excellent work! He is skilled and knowledgeable. He carefully assesses a problem and comes up with a plan of action. I highly recommend making a list of ALL your problem areas. Some things that I thought were hopeless or too expensive to fix, Louis would find a solution for. Most recently, he installed 3-piece crown molding, as well as trimmed out many window and doors in the Craftsman style. He also was able to change my textured drywall in those window wells to a surface that was so smooth, it looked like wood casing! Other tasks included installing new ceiling fans and adjusting doors that scraped. He completely redid an interior door frame that had been built very, very crookedly. Now it’s perfect! He has also made new window screens for me and installed multiple cabinet pulls. He also changed out an exterior lock and replaced caulk for the bathroom tub. It all looks great!! On top of being an excellent handyman, Louis is also a joy to work with. He is courteous, friendly, respectful, punctual, and very professional. I feel strongly that his rates are extremely reasonable for the quality of the work. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would
Excellent!! Wallpaper border was taken down, toilet and old tile floor were removed. Cracks and nail holes were repaired, walls and ceiling painted, new plank tile laid, vanity painted, faucets, drains, shower head, and hardware replaced, shelves and towel bars mounted, new baseboards painted and installed, and a new toilet added. One young man did the majority of the work, including cleanup, in two and a half days!! I couldn’t be happier with the quality of work and work ethic given to this project, along with being reasonably priced. I plan to hire Lemes “Home Improvement” for future home improvements and recommend them highly!
Could not be more pleased. When the window crew arrived, each man shook my hand an introduced himself. Impressive! It was a very windy day as they worked. They took great care in keeping the interior of the house cleaned up as they worked. They were that careful in picking up after themselves outside to avoid the wind blowing the trash. For the patio door that was replaced with windows - they matched the outside siding perfectly. Richard, the painter/stain guy, came next day and took great pains to match the existing stain. His care in keeping his work area clean was just as impressive. It is true- you do get what you pay for
I whole heartedly recommend Alpha Roofing. I found them through my neighborhood social media site (NEXTDOOR). Neighbors had raved about them and I decided to give them a try. They have recently installed a roof on my property in May 2017 and so far there have been no issues. These are the main reasons why this company is worth some serious consideration. 1. They are very pleasant on the phone. The estimate appointment was easy to set up. The communication between us was excellent. 2. The estimator was extremely clear, polite and helpful in helping me understand the choices available to me. 3. The estimator found a mistake in the estimation of the size of my roof. He readily noticed the roof on my house was smaller than the satellite measurements obtained. He volunteered this information and proceeded to climb the roof and measure the roof himself. He was honest about the mistake and corrected it even if I was not aware of the original miscalculation. 4. When asked, they quickly matched a competitor’s price and even included some upgraded materials. 5. The business office was timely and clear in the communications with me as well. 5. The scheduler was very pleasant, clear and flexible in helping me set a date for the job. 6. The installation crew was organized and left the property cleaner than how they found it. It is easy to communicate with this company and Ryan Anderson, James Ockleberry and Peter Brady and the rest of the crew run a reliable, honest and hardworking operation. Again, I am endorsing this company without reservations
The project was scheduled right before the pandemic hit, and yet everything still went well, considering. There were some unforeseen delays, mainly with material delivery, but all in all I'm happy with the end result. They kept in contact, were trustworthy, and showed up when expected. I recommend them
Despite some rough spots, in retrospect this relationship went fairly well. The painting work seems excellent and the door seems to have been installed properly and properly painted. Difficulties involving the gutters have been resolved by mutual agreement. Indeed, THI was impressive in their ultimate attention to the quality of the work they had done for me and in their concern for my satisfaction with that work. THI sales representative "Pete" rang my doorbell on the evening of October 20. We agreed that he would come back the next day (October 21) to estimate the cost of repainting my house. Overnight, I checked out THI on both the Angie's List and Better Business Bureau websites. They checked out as reputable. The next day, October 21, Pete came by as agreed. I agreed to have my house painted by THI. We agreed on paint colors (a base color and one trim color). We also agreed that, because I needed a new front door, the existing front door would not be painted and that the back door, to my garage, would be painted. Pete gave me an initial cost estimate. Somewhat as an afterthought, we agreed that THI would also install gutters, and the initial cost estimate was amended to cover that additional cost. Pete took preliminary measurements and I gave Pete a check for about one-half of the estimated cost, or $5650. (For unimportant reasons, that check was replaced on October 27 by another check in the same amount. We agreed that another THI representative would come by the next day to re-measure. Later that afternoon, I telephoned THI and expressed concern about how the gutters we had agreed to install would be installed over the pergola/deck the rear of my house. On October 22, at the agreed time, THI's representative, "JR," came to my home. Pete was with him, and we discussed what I saw as problems with installing gutters on the roof where the pergola abutted my house. Pete said he had not properly anticipated the problems the pergola presented for installing gutters, but described an installation that involved a diverter across the entire width of the pergola with (I understood) downspouts at either end of the house. JR expressed some uncertainty about that configuration, expressing some question about the advisability of a diverter across the whole width of the pergola. He was not specific about how the gutters were to actually be installed, however, but said he was sure I'd like it and, if not, they could be removed. During the next few days, I decided that I would purchase a new front door through AHI, and on October 26, Pete came by again and we agreed on a new door. Pete told me the door would come pre-painted in the trim color I had selected. I paid Pete another $1700, half the estimated cost of the installed and painted new door. On November 10, I agreed with THI to add a second trim color to the painting of my house, at an extra cost of $315.00. That amount was added to the amount due upon completion of the work. Painting work began on my home sometime during the week of November 8-14. The base color, when applied, was significantly different from the color I had selected and the first trim color seemed slightly different, as well. I called that to the attention of THI, and they sent JR over to confirm my acceptance of the colors. He agreed the base color was significantly different from that I had selected and offered to repaint the house. I decided to accept the colors. Bad weather and the delayed delivery of the second trim color prevented quick completion of the painting and I had to be away from my home on business. I was informed that the second trim color ordered would arrive on or about November 18. so I authorized THI to complete the painting during my absence. I do not remember authorizing the gutters to be installed in my absence. When I returned to my home on November 19, the painting of the second trim color had been substantially completed. To my surprise, the gutters had also been installed. (They were not pre-painted, as I expected, but had to be painted after installation.) One of three downspouts in the rear of my house poured water directly onto the wood deck of my pergola. The other was located just to the side of the back door leading to my garage, in a location where my door would be highly likely to slam into it should it swing open for any reason. I found that configuration problematic. On November 20, I paid the balance of $5965 for the painting and gutters but expressed concern to THI about the design of the gutters. The next day, Pete and JR came by and we discussed the gutter placement. Both Pete and JR agreed that having one downspout pour water onto the wood deck of my pergola was not a reasonable solution. Once again, Pete seemed to think that there could be a gutter placement that would avoid that issue and my other problems, again with a longer diverter. JR's solution was to add an extension to the downspout that would take water just beyond the deck. I didn't like that solution much. Pete and JR were offering two different solutions; I clearly preferred Pete's. We agreed to give the matter more time. JR agreed that, if I didn't like the gutters, they could be removed. JR had to leave. Pete stayed and we talked about his suggestion that I re-paint the brick siding on the front of my house. That was something I thought was needed, so I agreed to have that done at a total cost of about $1825, making an initial payment of $912. Later, I decided the configuration of the gutters around the pergola would not work. I called THI and told them so. They said JR would come over the next day to discuss the matter. He came to my home. He said his general manager would not allow any configuration of the gutters other than that installed, so we agreed to have the gutters over the pergola removed. Sometime after November 21, my new door arrived and was installed. However, again to my surprise, it had not been pre-painted as I expected. A day or so later, I received a call from THI telling me that I had "forgotten" to give the door installers the check for the balance of the cost of the door. I reminded them that the door had not yet been painted as required. On or about November 26, late in the day, THI's painter showed to paint the door. He said he needed to come back the next day to sand and finish the door, but did not. I telephoned him, and he came back on December 1. He had to completely strip the door and re-paint it. When he completed the door, I gave him the $1734 remaining for the purchase, installation and painting of the door. Sometime after December 1, THI's painting crew came by to paint the brick siding on the front of my house. They completed that work. However, I did not pay them, since the matter of the gutters had not yet been resolved. A day or so later, THI called me to get the $913 outstanding, asking whether I wanted to mail them the check have them send someone over to pick it up, I reminded them that removal of the gutters over my pergola had not yet been completed and that I would not pay them any more money until the work was completed. Over the next few weeks, I got a call or two from THI saying my door had been painted and wanting their payment, and I explained that the gutter removal was not yet complete. Because of the holidays, I waited until January 5 and called THI to remind them that the gutters over my pergola had not been removed and that I was holding my final payment until they were. "Amy" at THI said she'd have him call me. I received no call from JR that day or that week. On Thursday, January 7, two days after my phone conversation with Amy on January 5, I received a call from Amy at 2:30 pm. She left a voicemail telling me she "just got word" that my door had been completed. She said she "just wanted to call" to make sure I was happy and to "make arrangements either to come pick up a check" or if I'd prefer, I could call her back with a credit card number that she could take over the phone so we could be "good as done." I returned Amy's call that evening at 5:41 pm. I spoke with someone other than Amy. I angrily told her of the call I had received from Amy and said there had been no remaining issue with my door. The issue holding up completion of our agreements, as I had explained to Amy two days earlier, was the removal of the gutters above my pergola. She said she would have Amy call me. Amy called on the morning of January 8. I told her I wanted the gutter above my pergola removed as agreed, and that if THI did not do so by the end of the week I would use the balance due THI to have someone else do so. She said one of THI's crew chiefs would be at my home on, January 9, between 10:00 am and noon, to remove the gutters. "Sergio," the chief of the painting crew, did show up as promised and did remove most of the gutter assembly above my pergola. He forgot, however, to remove a metal diverter from the roof and someone had to return later to do that. Someone else had to return after that to properly seal the holes that the screws from the removed diverter had made in my roof. Today, January 19, Ralph Nevarez, who I understand to be THI?s general manager, came by. Together, we confirmed that all the contracted work had been completed to our mutual satisfaction, adjusted my balance due to reflect the removal of the gutters over the pergola, and completed our agreed work to our mutual satisfaction
They did a really good job. The kept the area clean. They get my opinion and they were easy to work with. They showed up early. They were easy to communicate.
Good service. Honest people. I am impressed by the efficiency they did the job. In my case, I signed the contact and got my roof replaced in two days. I like the upgrade they offered and I am satisfied. I like my new roof ( I may not have chosen the best color though).
I hired William initially to rehang a stuck back door for $150. Then I asked if he would trim a stuck wooden patio door, reattached some gutters and hang some thick plastic curtains on the outside of a patio. He did all these cheerfully, and along the way, selected about 25 vintage LPs I had as payment for the extras. I guess I should have figured on finding a music aficianado in Austin being a pretty good handyman
These guys are tip-top. Fran Carter, the manager, is knowledgeable, fair, sensible, communicative, helpful, and just a very nice person in general. This is the second time I've hired him and his people to do the exterior of a house. I wish I had the oomph to build another building so I could hire them again! They're my example of a well-managed team, from staging to cleanup. Never any problems and all the work is beautifully done

What do customers in Austin say about Siding Installation?
Mike, the Titan president and estimator, arrived with samples and wrote a proposal for my immediate review. I accepted and awaited an installation window. Mike called soon thereafter and scheduled the installation. During the installation, Mike and his team made several appearances to check the progress of the installers. The installers were mindful of the careful handling of materials and the condition of the property, and were efficient with their time. Numerous obstacles to easy installation were overcome and everything was done as I had expected it to be done. I felt confident in this contractor and was not disappointed. Too often contractors are not considerate of the customer's time or property, but my experience with Titan was a pleasant one throughout.
