Jeff was very skilled and professional. Installation of downdraft cooktop was a custom job due to the age of the prior cooktop (26 yrs.). Required woodwork as well as normal installation. Charged exactly the original estimate.

I called Tony to install my gas cooktop. He was the only one who could come on the same day and his charge was the least. One company I called wanted to charge and gt;$200. Tony is professional, efficient, and courteous. I would definitely call him again if I need.

Excalibur Plumbing
We are updating our kitchen and wanted to add a new gas cook top in place of our existing electric cooktop. I had already received one bid from another plumbing company which was too high. I figured I would try to call Excalibur and get another bid. I was very pleasantly surprised. I called Excalibur Wednesday at 4:30pm, and Sean was out the next morning, Thursday, at 8:30am. He was on time and very polite and easy to work with. He looked at our existing gas lines - dryer, 2 fireplaces, and water heater, and gave us an estimate to do the job right then. The estimate was less than half of the other guys. And we did not have to wait for the quote - other guys took 3 days. Sean said he could do the work that day too, which was great. He made a quick run for supplies, then had the job completed by 12:30pm. So less than 24 hours from calling, the job was done and at an excellent price. Sean was very knowledgable, personable, and we would definitely feel comfortable having him work in our home again

Not well it all, I had an appointment between 1-6 PM That time frame was too long, however;I was willing to wait. It had been over a week since a set up my appointment. The appointment was set on August 18, witch it happened to be my birthday! I had dinner plans with my family! I call them around 5:30 to see if they were on their , she advised me that her works were running late and had complications on the job site where they were working it. I asked her what time should I expect them since I had plan for my birthday dinner! She said that she couldn't tell me what time! But they were willing to come after they completed the job they were working at. I asked her, why didn't I get a call to reschedule if they knew they were running late? As you can imagine, my wife was very upset and disappointed with South Austin appliances

I was calling around all afternoon to find a company to do this work. The plumbers said HVAC could help me. Other HVAC companies told me to call kitchen venting cleaners. I finally was lucky to talk to Wes at Airco. He explained that capping the downdraft vent pipe was a very easy job that would be cheaper for me to do myself. I appreciated his honesty rather than getting the usual run around. I will definitely call them again for any future needs

I purchased a new stove for our remodeled kitchen and needed the gas line lowered so that it would sit back against the wall. They came and gave an estimate but since I did not have the new stove on site we needed to reschedule the service. Through complications with the delivery I had to reschedule several times. They were very flexible and patient with me. We finally got the appliance delivered so they came to move the gas line. They called prior to coming and got the work done to my satisfaction and made the whole line compliant with current city guidelines. I would recommend them and use them again

The double oven was slightly smaller, so he also did some carpentry to close a gap that was left under the bottom oven. The person who did the work was very professional and courteous. I have guests coming for at least a month long visit from overseas and my stove goes out right before they arrive. I checked on Angie's List and found James Beardsley. He no longer works in Round Rock and recommended Tri-City Appliances. They made sure to get all the parts that might be necessary and came out immediately. I had the dates mixed up (felt horrible about that) and missed the initial visit. They rescheduled courteously for the next morning at 7 AM. Mr. Felfe was punctual, polite, and even took the time to explain what I could expect from my ancient drop-in stove in the future. He helped me weigh my options for future repairs and then did a thorough job replacing the failed parts on my finicky stove. Whoever had made repairs previously had done a shoddy job and some screws were stripped, etc. He patiently problem solved the difficulties and didn't change the cost, even though it was complicated. He didn't need to spend that much time with a 15-year-old dishwasher, but we appreciated the fact that he did. Very personable and very knowledgeable.
