Before contacting Ace Roofing, we spoke with another roofer who said we needed to replace the entire roof, not something we wanted to do. So we looked on Angie's List and found A-rated Ace Roofing. We made an appointment with DJ. He came out quickly and at the time he said he would. He inspected the roof and found where the water was probably entering. He and his crew also found other problem areas. They showed us the weak spots, explained why they were a problem, and how they would fix them. We chose to have them fix all of it. Shortly after the repair, we had a major rainstorm. No leaks! (And much cheaper than an entire new roof.) We would recommend this company without hesitation

Very well! Professional, responsible and courteous. Ace redid our roof about 6 years ago for a good price and did excellent work. Over time, our the flat roof portion of our house settled and we had some leaks. The owner Jason personally came out and with the crew. Once the leak was corrected, he promptly wrote me a check for the interior drywall damage repair. A+ Service and a great company to do business with. Beware of the fly by night roofers that suddenly appear after a hail storm. Ace is local and is one of the good guys! Highly recommend

We received a detailed proposal of the basic work to be done, including several options, the materials to be used and the prices for the basic project and the options. The work was done promptly and efficiently with a very diligent crew and a competent supervisor. The crew worked long hours to make up for time lost due to intermittent rain. The only significant complaint I have has to do with the difference between what was agreed upon and signed by me and the company's representative and what was actually done, two flat roofs to be stripped completely and reroofed with specified materials. This was done for one roof, but not for the second one. Instead, the second roof was not stripped down to the plywood, rather, the existing cover of the roof was overlayed. This was not according to our contract. In my non-professional judgment, this change must have saved the company money both for new roofing material and for labor. Unfortunately, I was not able to negotiate a lower price

Wilson was referred to us by our insurance company (USAA) who appraised hail damage and recommended full replacement. Wilson responded quickly with a quote just under insurance company's estimate (on recommendation of insurance company I had shared a copy of the insurance company appraisal). Installation of new roof was delayed by rain but a crew of six+ removed hail damaged roof and gutters then installed new roof in just over a half a day. Gutter installation by sub-contractor did not take place for about 10 days but done quickly and well. Very please with result

Brian Fuller of SSR did a great job for us. No more leaks! We had others work on our flat roof, but we always ended up with problems and when we had problems, the others were nowhere to be found. SSR did our neighbor's roof (which had also had problems) and SSR did a great job there as well. SSR was 100% professional and timely. They showed up on time and returned calls promptly. When Brian was on vacation, his brother, Ben, was ready to help us (but we did not need it). We will definitely use them again, but I doubt that we will need it :

The roofing team was available much sooner than we'd expected, and were able to start our job within days of signing the contract. They arrived at the planned time (7am) and got the job done in a day, as expected. We were provided with photos of the job in progress and after completion. It must have been done right, because we had heavy rain a couple of days later, and no leaks. All details that we mentioned beforehand were covered in the job. Well, Horizon was the only contract that actually submitted a bid. So that gives them an A+. When Horizon came out for the estimate they actually did some temporary patching FREE of charge. So, we really didn't have too many issues with the fact they were the only bidder. The team was fast and cleaned up the site. The job went great! ...from start to finish! This Is my second attempt in repairing a back porch that was installed improperly and material use was not sustainable for the pitch of the roof Gavin came out and inspected the roof and explained what was wrong and what needed to be done to repair the problem.( noted: the original contractor substituted a material that was not adequate for a flat roof ) Gavin's crew was easy to work with and very efficient!. I engaged Patriot Fence to replace a fence that was in poor repair on a house I recently purchased. DJ responded promptly and walked me through all potential repairs that could be performed. He also “educated” me on the options I had for materials and even recommended what repairs were not needed. The date for the fence replacement was scheduled promptly after I executed the contract, and, after they put me on a potential early install list, our installation was done early. The installation team was on time and worked in VERY hot weather to complete the project, frequently consulting us on options we had for gate location, height above ground, post spacing, and so forth. While we had received many solicitations for roofing services in the mail and on our door, only NTBS offered to inspect the roof. An estimate was prepared and the accepted. The completed work included replacement gutters and two flat roof surfaces that required roll roofing. The finished product is very attractive and may be why so many other homes in the area also hired NTBS for roofing services.
