The process went great. The crew came in, described what they were doing, took measurements, disassembled the old unit in the attic and replaced ductwork along with installing the units outside. Day 2 was for running additional ductwork, checking the new filtering system and removing the dangerous dryer vent that came with the house. The crew was out and the air conditioning was purring by very early afternoon. The crew was highly professional and very efficient. Wish everyone worked as well as these guys did. I would definetly recommend these to all my friends. Great group

First of all my husband is very particular about any work done on our house. I was not able to take off from work so it was my husband who witnessed all the work that was done. He informed me that Josh did a great job in winning him over with the thoroughness and attention to details in cleaning our air ducts. He cleaned/sanitized each grill vent cover, the air return, the entire ductwork, and also cleaned our ac/heater system. We have 11 vents and two air returns in our two story home. Josh got behind the dryer to inspect the dryer vent, cleaned it out and also got on top of our roof to inspect and clean the outside dryer vent. He took time to do each task thoroughly. He also provided us with valuable information regarding particular vents and informed us that the home builder had installed the wrong dryer vent cover on our roof that is what caused the built up of dryer lint. The whole process took about 3 hrs. He worked with us on the scheduled date quickly realizing from my email that we were only available on Thursday mornings. He arrived at the set time. The cost was less than anticipated so that was a plus. Everything was cleaned but the best thing was when I arrived home and the freshness of the air when I came throught the door was sooo nice

I did have extra air ducts that he did charge me for. This was the first time I have had the air ducts cleaned. It seems like the other companies had a larger brush than what he had, so I wondered if he should have had a larger brush. He was very nice and very courteous. I did look at a couple of the vents and asked him if I should use the vacuum cleaner to clean them. He let me clean that and then he went back, took down the ones that he had cleaned, and redid them. That was very nice. Once he realized that that was something that I felt that needed to be done. I was not clear if he cleaned my return vent, I do not think that he did. I am not upset about that. I would not use them again

Josh arrived on time. He inspected the air conditioning unit in attic and thoroughly cleaned out all 9 air ducts in the house. He washed all air duct vents, taking them outside to do so. All ducts were vacuumed. Josh cleaned up afterwards. Josh seems knowledgeable about air duct systems and I would definitely recommend his services. We never did figure out what the odor was but there seems to be less odors since the clean out of the ducts

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I thought the provider was okay. I'm not really sure how the process works but I'm not certain that all of my ducts were cleaned just because the little pieces can't go over deep in some of the ducts. They did it from the 5:06-5:07 themselves. I'll probably not use them again

I recently had my heating/a-c unit replaced, but not the ductwork. Since my house is very dusty, I decided to get the air ducts cleaned. The a/c company I used recommended Steamatic to clean the air ducts and to clean the dryer vent. The price quoted over the phone seemed high to me, but I decided to give them a try. The guys showed up on time, introduced themselves and gave me an idea of what they would be doing. I showed them around and told them when the new system was installed. I was pleasantly surprised when the crew leader told me that the cost would be over $200 less than quoted over the phone since they did not need to remove and pressure wash the fans because they were new. The work took about four hours and they appeared to do a thorough job. The workers were very nice/polite young men. I asked if they could show me what the vents looked like so they took photos on their cell phones. They told me that the amount of dirt in my air ducts was actually not too bad for an older home (in comparison to others of similar age) and there was no and quot;growthand quot; that would have required further work and expenses. Overall a great experience and I will have more peace of mind that the air circulating in my home will now be cleaner

We clean our air duct once a year in the spring due to our allergies, this year I called Clean Air Houston and we were so happy with their work that we decided to use them every year. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and helpful and we scheduled an appointment for the same week, the team arrived on time and was very professional and thorough, they cleaned the air ducts and even gave me a few helpful tips about my a/c, they finished pretty quickly and left the house with no mess what so ever. We purchased an air duct cleaning service for $275. On inspection, the air ducts had a lot of black mold-looking substance throughout. Also, the air ducts turned out to be cut through the insulation instead of being defined metallic or plastic air ducts so they weren't able to apply the service high pressure cleaning initially described. We purchased additional organic compound treatments for mold killing and mold prevention. Then a second visit was scheduled 4 days later to clean the air ducts after the mold treatment. Since their inspection led to additional service beyond what we purchased they provide a detailed quote, with options, and without any pressure for the additional service. They were very professional the inspection, work estimate, and work completion. I would use them again

Fresh Air came out to see our existing setup, gave recommendations and reasoning for those recommendations. Answered our many questions. Gave an estimate on two systems. Came back out a second time (at our request) to take a closer look at our ductwork and offer more specific recommendations and estimate. Happy with job. Took longer than expected, but we are ok with that. Old indoor unit was not removed. Promised to come back and do that, but we got tired of waiting. Took it apart, removed it and took it to recycling myself. That was our only disappointment. Very happy with the help in choosing system and what the best options on the ductwork were. Installers were great. Owner was extremely patient with a payment mistake (I mistakenly used a check from an old checking account)

Excellent! The crew was prompt and professional. All work was completed in a timely manner and they kept us informed with progress along the way. They went above and beyond in removing debris in the attic left over from years of other owners, prior to blowing in any insulation. I wasn't crazy about the price. However, I didn't get estimates from anyone else because the initial inspection and estimate was thorough and impressive. The friendly and extremely competent crew had me sold at our first meeting. If you're in need of insulation and duct services, I highly recommend this vendor
