They came out at Thanksgiving. We had a bunch of people coming over and the refrigerator went out. They were very timely and helped us out the best they could. We got through a difficult situation and it was made a lot easier by what he had to say with it. I want to say it was Charlie, but he really did a good job

Came, restarted the unit, and said it would be fine by next day. Next day it still wasn't working, and after calling him, said it would require a compressor (about 1/3 the cost of a new refrigerator), but that couldn't guarantee that this would indeed fix the problem. It could be other things like wiring etc. He also gave views on brands that were contrary to all Consumer Reports and others. He was "friendly," but that doesn't fix anything

He asked me if I needed anything else done, so I showed him around and he had me under the impression that his company, Shocker Appliance would be coming out to do this other work. He was going to be doing this other work on the side. I asked if he was licensed, bonded and insured and he said yes and I have not seen him since. I have tried to call and have not heard back. It seemed odd because they came after hours and the 2 guys did not speak any English

They ordered the parts on the spot and as soon as the parts came in they returned and installed them. The serviceman, Jacob, was in uniform, neat, polite and very helpful. A few years back, a different company replaced my cooling fan, which moves the cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator, with an old part - it was noisy and sounded like a helicopter landing when it would cycle off and on. The fan ultimately faltered, so I called Todd. I also arranged for him to replace my very leaky freezer gasket. The estimate for both was a bit over $300. The fan took a few days to order, but my refrigerator was somewhat cool, so I was not desperate. Todd replaced the fan with a nice, quiet new fan and told me I didn't need the new gasket - also said the way the new gasket would seat with screws, it would leak as well. He asked for my hair dryer, softened the old rubber gasket, molded it to the door, and presto - a free fix! The gasket hasn't leaked since! And now I know what to do if it does. Last night my dishwasher would not start. Todd ran me through possibilities on the phone, and darned if a wall switch that had never been turned off in the 8 years I've been here hadn't been somehow turned off. No trip, no cost, working dishwasher

The guys that they sent out were nice, and they did a good job, unfortunate the Samsung refrigerator was bought from Sears, and Sears is the only one with the information, and the diagram that they needed to repair the refrigerator. Sears wouldn't supply to them, and we ended up having to buy a new refrigerator, but it wasn't their fault. I will never buy anything from Sears. The impression that I got, was that there was some kind of design flow in the refrigerator, but the Sears guys wouldn't touch it. We didn't know it was under warranty, and we had someone else look at it, so as soon as Sears found out, they wouldn't touch it

I purchased the replacement evaporator fan along with a refrigerator repair manual for a cost of $105. I removed the ice maker and the back panel of the freezer section of the refrigerator. I removed the old evaporator fan and put in the new one. I replaced the back panel and ice maker. When I turned on the refrigerator, the loud noise was gone. I have added James C. Beardsly Appliance Service to my address book so I will remember to call him the next time I have a problem with an appliance

Called and got an appointment for the same day. Technician called shortly after to tell me that he was in the area and was available if I would like it fixed earlier! Of course, I said yes, and true to his word, he showed up about 15 minutes later. After asking me a few questions about the problem, he immediately diagnosed it, and explained what was occurring. He game me provided me an estimate which I found very fair, and work commenced. He was done in just under half an hour, was extremely professional, proficient, and left absolutely no mess in my kitchen! He advised me what to do if the problem reoccurs (apparently common with Samsung refrigerators) wished me a good day and left. I only wish all jobs at my home could be handled this easily! I'd hire this technician again in a heartbeat, and intend to look to this company first for all my repair needs

James was excellent and an absolute pleasure as well. What a super nice guy. My refrigerator had stopped cooling. He came out almost immediately as he said, "A broken refrigerator is an emergency". He determined that it was simply that the door wasn't closing right since the hinge mechanism had worn down. He ordered the part and returned the next day to install. Two trips one charge and I live outside of the city. He also fixed the clothes dryer while he was here (an embarrassingly simple fix, but one I wasn't capable of diagnosing) at no charge. The refrigerator is working perfectly now, the dryer too.
