I chose Matthew Lorand Roofing (MLR) after getting estimates from two other roofers. MLR was not the least expensive, but I had confidence in how Jason (the contact point) explained what needed to be done, how it would be done, and what the outcome would be. Jason was very patient with my (maybe) excessive questions and he was able to address my stated concerns. The scheduling and work proceeded without mishap or delay. Jason was involved at all times and the trade-persons were very professional, respectful and competent. They completed the work with minimum interference in our daily activity and they cleaned up everything to my complete satisfaction when they were done. Upon completion of the project, Jason continued to stay in contact with me with the objective of checking on the roof integrity following the first major rain storm. I initially came into contact w/ Matthew Lorand Companies through our home warranty for some roof repair. I was contacted promptly. Jason was very courteous and knowledgeable and explained to me in details the issues and repairs needed. He completed all paperwork with the warranty company and repairs were completed within a few days. I never had to follow up w/ Jason regarding the status as he was proactive and kept me abreast of the status of the claim and ultimately the repairs. He would follow up with me over the phone as well as providing emails for the estimate and photos of the completed repairs. I was a very happy customer. Moving forward, I had a homeowner's claim for a roof replacement. I contacted Jason once more since I had a great experience with Matthew Lorand previously. He explained the whole process to me in detail. I received and estimate from him within a day, along with a pricing sheet for upgrades I requested, their insurance and copies of all their certifications. He broke down pricing for me for and detailed explanations of the products being used and the process along with options for the deductible. He followed up with a phone call to address any concerns I may have. Not only would Matthew Lorand be able to replace the roof, but also the other aspects of the claim, gutter replacement and air conditioner repair. I did not have to search for other repair services; Matthew Lorand did it all. Jason was very thorough as with the previous roof repair. He completed all the paperwork to the insurance company. He explained in detail step by step of what the process would be. There was nothing I had to do but keep the driveway clear for his company to complete the work. He set the appropriate expectations for handling of repairs and the roof was completed in just about a day. There was not any debris, lingering nails in the yard, etc as his company did a very thorough clean up once repairs were completed. Jason inspected the repairs personally. The roof looks gorgeous and of the best quality. We feel like we have a new home. Jason's professional and courteous service made what could have been a horrible claims experience into a very streamline and more than satisfied one. I never once had to follow up with Jason or contact him for status. He would always contact me first and ensured that the process was being followed as he explained. I would highly recommend Matthew Lorand Companies. I have to give credit where credit is due. I cannot say one negative thing about my experience with Matthew Lorand. Mike was great. He came out promptly and repaired the leak in our roof. Once he started the repair he noticed the damage was worse than we thought. Despite this, he still completed the repair within the originally agreed upon price. There were a few other spots on the roof that could use some patch work and Mike went ahead and took care of those as well, finishing those extra items up even as it started to rain again. We were very satisfied and we plan to use Above the Rest Roofing to replace our roof when that time comes

I was given this companies name by a co-worker you had used them in the past for a roof replacement. i had a very bad leak that no other company was able to correct. so i called them up and set up a meeting. they were able to diagnosis the problem and get me a bid within 24hrs. Highly recommended!!!!!!! I have a house in Round Rock TX. I needed to replace my roof, I called Caden Roofing and Karen answered, she was so nice and amazing over the phone. Karen transferred me to Fareed, I had so many questions for him. He answered all of them, professionally and with patience. ( I’m in the roofing business as well in California, so imagine how many questions I had for him). Fareed toke the time to go to my house and check the roof, he was very honest with me from the beginning, Fareed and Karen coordinate with my tenant all the time, and kept me posted with every step on the way. We did complete demo new roof, Owens Corning shingles and new gutters. The price was reasonable for a new roof and new gutters, after I talked to Fareed I canceled my other estimates for the roof. I was very pleased with the results and the way they handled everything. No extra money added, no lying or sales pushing What the contract said that’s what I paid. Thank you Karen and Fareed for making this project very easy and fast and stress free. It was 1 day work, demo and installation for roof, gutters was few hours work. I had the roof repaired Acura Roofing in Jan due to wind damage. Then along comes Feb wind damaged. At that time the entire roof was damaged to the point my insurance company said the entire roof needed to be replaced. My house is only 5 years old. Patrick, owner of Acura Roofing, explained as did the adjuster that I needed to put a 30 yr. roof on if I didn't want to have it fixed from wind damage again. A house just a few doors away has had their roof repaired 4 times since November. Patrick helped get the claim approved with my insurance company. Once all was settled with the insurance company I had the 30 yr. roof put on. They came at 7 AM put tarps down, removed the old roof and tar paper, worked until the roof was finished. It was completed in one day. The employees were great were very careful with clean up. Fantastic job guys. If you can call a roof beautiful this one is. Best roof in the neighborhood for looks and it will stand up against the next wind storm

Couldn't be better. Work team not only replaced the vents, they repaired framing that was deteriorating from water leakage. Guys worked on this for over two hours, making sure installation was done correctly. Two days later we had another batch of storms with heavy rain. Absolutely no more water leaking into the crawlspace under the roof. These guys are top notch. I'll be hiring them in another year or two when we replace our roof

I hired Edge Roofing and Remodeling to replace my 40 year old shingle roof with a new one that was in my budget range. After showing me samples that could work, I picked one I liked and they had it installed in a very timely manner. The old roof was demolished and the new one replaced with no trace of left over debris. The whole transaction was very professional, easy and cost effective. I highly recommend this company and will use them for any future remodeling jobs

I called Kanish at Legends Roofing about leaks coming from our ceiling. He spent time with me on the phone explaining the details of the process of fixing leaks. His crew lead by Diogo came out the next day and added new flashing, caulked and sealed areas on our roof and examined the attic for other possible leaks. Diogo was friendly, responsive, and thorough. They also installed gutter guards on our gutters near areas where the trees drop leaves throughout the year

I cannot say enough good things about Milton Oliver of Oliver Brothers Roofing. There are a lot of bad roofers in Austin, but Oliver Brothers will be the only roofer that sets foot my property. My house has two additions that have flat roofs. The skylights in one addition had leaked incessantly almost since I bought my house.. After i tried numerous times to fix them, and paid another roofer to fix the problem, I called Oliver Brothers based on a friend's recommendation. He replaced the tar and gravel roof with a torch down roof. Since 2010, I have had one problem with the skylight leaking. Milton came out the day I called. Turned out to be a defect in the skylight, not the roof. Nevertheless, Milton fixed it for free. In 2013, the other flat roof, which was replaced in 2005 by another roofer, was already starting to look pretty bad. Milton replaced it and I've had zero problems since. Flat roofs are notoriously hard to keep from leaking. I was up on my roof checking for signs of hail damage in late March 2014 after a storm. Both flat roofs look brand new. I'd also like to share that I had Milton come evaluate the roof on my rent house recently. Although we agreed the roof was poorly done (not his work) and would need to be replaced soon, he advised me to wait for a hail storm. He could have sold me a roof that day, but he gave me his honest opinion knowing he'd get my business when the time is right. Oliver Brothers Roof will treat you right. I highly recommend them

We chose Perry Roofing because I liked the fact that they are locally owned and operated. They have been in the Austin area for a long time. Their initial estimate most closely matched our insurance adjuster's estimate. The other roofing companies were much higher. This has been a very busy time for roofing companies in our area but Perry's Justin Cook was the only contact of all the companies that consistently returned my calls. He showed up when he said he would. We had several no-shows from other companies- many unreturned calls. Justin was professional, courteous, polite and prompt. We chose to upgrade to 30 year shingles and have ridge vents installed. I think they did a great job. Our roof looks great. I haven't found any nails or debris in the yard. Overall a great experience
