The water heater flush went fine. However, even though there is nothing wrong with my current water heater, the plumber tried to sell me a new one for $1800. He also reported a leaky faucet in the bathroom and quoted several hundred dollars to replace it. I had another plumber take a look since I have a home warranty service, and the leak was non-existent.

Excalibur Plumbing
In general the service was fine. Nothing needed to be done to the hot water heater after it was flushed. All three toilets in the house needed he flappers replaced, but it would be $93.00 each for Excalibur to do it , so I declined. Knowing how expensive they are without an Angie's coupon, I would not hire them again.
