We had one "twist" where the toilet tank was 30 years old and the replacement tank we purchased (we provided almost all of the parts...I had planned to do the work) was the new "green" low capacity . He was very creative and installed the "green" tank with a new float valve to offset the water level. The wife and I tested it out and no problems with the water capacity

There were several problems with this order, including tanks damaged during shipment, and then incorrect parts on the replacement tanks (their warehouse sent the more common single-flush version), and then a bowl defect that required yet another replacement. Late, unprofessional and dishonest. I normally don't like posting financial details but am doing so below to save you the headache of dealing with this company. There are plenty of great tradesmen in Austin. Please look else-ware. DETAIL BELOW: I booked a water heater install bid through Home Depot 2 weeks in advance for a 10am to 2pm arrival time slot. Despite the wide window, service provider didn't arrive until 6pm. Shortly after arriving, gentlemen complained about responding to the late call and that he'd rather be at home with his family. My response, "yeah, me too". Labor bid on a tankless install was ~$3,200 plus ~$2,200 for an 11 GPM higher end model (so mid $5k all-in). This was a simple garage install job on an exterior wall. No attic work. No rerunning lines across a home. A master plumber or experienced journeymen should be able to handle the job in 8 to 10 hours, which gives me a ~$300 hourly labor rate quote. ARS should get an overhead charge, profit margin, plus $100 to $120 hourly. Bidding ~$300/hr on the job was just ARS trying to opportunistically fleece the large number of people who must click the home depot 'install' button. When i asked the master plumber about the job, he figured 10 hours. When i asked him about the $300 hourly, he first defended it saying "we don't think labor in terms of job hours" (wrong). He then said this is how they're bidding these days because this is what they can get away with. Well, at-least that's honest

I ordered a toilet with a 1.6 gallon pressure-assisted flush system: the tank portion of the toilet. The tank was delivered in a shipping carton that was labeled with the correct part number, so I accepted it in good faith. Only after the toilet was installed and failed to perform properly did I discover that I had received a tank with a flush capacity of 1.1 gallons vice 1.6 gallons. I asked Austin Plumbing Supply to replace the 1.1 gallon tank with a 1.6 gallon tank; Austin Plumbing Supply denied my request. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Austin Plumbing Supply's response to the BBB included inaccurate statements about my order and the history of my dealings with the company. Nevertheless, Austin Plumbing Supply subsequently delivered a 1.6 gallon tank, at no charge to me. I am glad to report that the replacement tank performs well. It is unfortunate, however, that I had to complain to the BBB before Austin Plumbing Supply would take appropriate action

I purchased a truckload of junk to be removed from my house and contacted the company immediately thereafter to schedule the appointment. They contacted us to confirm the appointment the day before. They also called that morning to let us know about when they would come within the scheduled timeframe. Jeff and Mike came on time and my husband showed them everything that was "junk" and what we wanted to donate. They were very efficient and professional. The job was performed in less than two hours. My husband was impressed with how they were able to get everything up our basement stairs so easily. We were very happy with the services that were performed and would definitely use them again in the future

Company showed up to do the estimate and ready to do the install. We agreed to a price that was a little higher than expected and the two installers got started. One to get a new water heater and the other stayed in a hot attic drained the old tank and disassembled the tank. I have a tank in the attic and it was not easy getting the old or new tank up there. They were done in about 4 hours and the hot water heater works great! Dependable employees and company

We have some problems with the water tanks of our toilets. The flaps are not always closing correctly. Sometimes the tanks flush on their own. I got one of their post cards in the mail where they offer a free service call, so I decided to let them have a look at the tanks. The technician arrived on time and was very courteous. He looked at all the tanks and recommended rebuilding their interiors at $270 per tank. You can buy a new toilet for that price! So I asked him what a new toilet would cost and learned that one new toilet including installation would cost about $700, installation only would be $400. I consider these prices outrageous and did not hire them
