Jack and his team transformed the worst room of our house into the best. Great value for the money. This contractor is dependable, creative, highly skilled with rapt attention to detail. Custom work on the vanity looks and works wonderfully. We are delighted with the results.

Statewide Remodeling

We contacted Statewide in March to remodel our Master Bathroom Shower. We were told it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the materials to be ordered and for work to begin. About mid April, before work started, we discovered a major issue with another bathroom that was leaking something awful into our garage. Our insurance refused to cover it, and we did not have the funds to do both bathrooms. So we called Statewide and explained what had happened. We asked if we could cancel the Master Bathroom Shower and shift the amount we had already paid to the smaller leaking disaster bathroom and have them work on it instead. They were very sympathetic, and worked with us. The smaller bathroom was a more complicated of a repair, but it was done to perfection. The crew was unbelievably efficient, cleaned up everything from their destruction and reconstruction of the Shower/tub where the leak was coming from. They repaired the drywall, and made sure that there was no structural damage from the leak prior to completing the job. It took a little bit of time for them to get started on the job, (6 to 8 weeks). However, once they were on the job it went extremely quickly

Hiring WJP Renovation is like vacation at an all-inclusive high-end resort—but for construction! I found WJP through searching online reviews and incidentally learning one of my Facebook friends had already worked with the company. I had high hopes and expectations for my project and had already interviewed two other contractors. Experience with WJP was so different from the first hello! Jack, the owner of the company, is a man of an unyielding and enthusiastic can-do attitude. Jacek's wealthy construction experience, vision, and focus on project completion is an ever-present element. Company employees are polite, courteous, always on time, and the energetic aura percolates the entire company. It's so satisfying to watch how WJP gets it done while you simply check the next box on your task list. No project is without pitfalls, and our project was no different. Navigating constant shortages, shipping delays, and a greatly resigned society can severely diminish your excitement. But hiring WJP comes with the perks of getting a personal life-coach, designer, handyman, architect, mentor, and more. Jacek helped us make choices we didn't even consider, found alternative (often better) solutions, and delivered us from evils of FOMO and YOLO, kept us on point, on budget, and on time! WPJ Renovation is an asset, and ally, and a trustworthy partner. I wholeheartedly recommend you hire WPJ for your next construction project

Newmatic Painting and Remodeling

Jeff and his crew rock. My house would look way too much like the 80s without them. I call Jeff for everything. He? * Built an awesome freestanding treehouse. * Remodeled my master bathroom around a Japanese-style soaking tub. * Replaced a busted up door. * Stripped several layers of hideous wallpaper from my master bathroom and put up new texture and paint. * Painted every bit of my kitchen. * Fixed up a sloppy crown molding job executed by previous owners. * Changed the kitchen cabinet layout to let in more light and make room for a new pendant fixture over the sink, which he also installed. * Ran ethernet backhaul all through the house. * Replaced a bunch of fiddly old sink and tub drains. * Replaced a leaking toilet shut off valve. * Power washed and sealed my wraparound porch. This important and much loved feature of my home now looks much better and will last much longer. And many other things. If something around the house needs work, Newmatic gets the job

Sal did an excellent job taping, floating, and texturing the walls of my remodeled bathroom. He took the sheet-rocked walls and prepared them for painting. He was professional, punctual, and very personable. I highly recommend him.

Impressed overall with the service, quality and timeliness of work. Excellent design choices, materials. Prompt attention to fixing any problems (very little). They explained the design on tiles before laying, listened to my concerns. Price was reasonable.

Their service was excellent. One of the guys, who run the company, if not the owner, would come over all the time to check up and made sure all the payments were clear. He was really supportive about the project. He also gave me his number so that I could ask him any questions just for general home repairs. He was a really nice guy

Still waiting for Steve to install master bath countertop and faucet. Paid money to Steve to order kitchen doors and countertop. Money was paid in December and work is not done. Steve refuses to answer my calls or respond to complaint from BBB. He mentioned that he doesn't need to advertise on Angie's List because he has a lot of customers who want to hire him. If you hired him in January 2017, he probably used my money to work on your project. This is really sad that he would do this to me as I had hired him in the past and he did good work for me. Steve, you ought to be ashamed

They were absolute fantastic. All the crews were professional, effective, and you would not worry about having them in your home. The design consultant Chris Squire came out first and he was a total professional. He knew what he was doing, and knew the product, he was honest and it was such a great experience. He knew his business. I would easily recommend them to anyone

A friend referred us to Hand H Design and Build and I cannot say enough good things. Our last experience with a contractor was awful so we were extremely hesitant to take the plunge again. What a night and day difference. The Hand H team team was very understanding and did a great job of communicating with us throughout the entire project. So thankful. Not a day went by that we didn't know what was going on. There were a few delays however we always knew in advance what caused the delay and when work would resume. Their quality of work and attention to detail is impeccable. I highly recommend H and H Design and Build

They rescheduled my job several times -initially I was told it would be done in August, but didn't get started til December. They didn't review my plumbing choices and didn't buy everything needed -which we discovered a week into the work. Clint sold me on a two shower head design but then didn't tell the people doing the work what was going on so they didn't prepare for the second shower head. When they did a bit of re-work to put in the shower head they cut corners, like measuring, and I ended up with the two showerheads overlapping at different heights. After weeks of trying to get them to address it, Clint finally came to my house only to insult me for wanting two shower heads in the first place, saying he never would have done that. He cursed several times and told me "you're gonna get what you get." The grout was uneven and noticeably discolored in places, the floor wasn't leveled so the water went to the center of the drain, they didn't put the shelf where I'd asked them to, etc- really no part of the workmanship was professional. He kept being unresponsive and ultimately we had to get another contractor to come finish the job. I'm really glad I did, as they found other issues- when they removed the tile they found that it came off too easily and the backboard had holes and moved with slight pressure (it shouldn't). I ended up having to redo most of the shower, else "you'll probably have issues with tile falling off in a few years." VanRossun and I terminated our contract with the understanding I'd be keeping the materials I'd already purchased (and already paid for 80% of the project even though I basically had to redo it all) but they weeks later still will not let me come get my glass. The glass was cut specifically for my shower so it's not like they can reuse it elsewhere, and still they will not let me have it. That is the kind of behavior you can expect from VanRossun. Go get it done right by someone who knows what they're doing and won't insult you for their incompetence, and ghost you while they keep the materials you bought

Quality Renovations
5.0
I chose to finally renovate two 35 year old totally disgusting bathrooms with 'cultured' marble counters, possible pressed wood pulp product vanities and all-in-one tub shower combos UGH. The guest bath had to be taken all the way down to the studs. The master was also a complete gut job but we were able to save a good deal of the drywall. I had the tub in the guest bath removed and replaced with a shower. 4"x8" subway tile with grey grout, cornice pieces, twisted pencil trim, round penny tile for the floor and in the niche. Scott spent the time to explain everything he was going to do and why. He listened while I told him what I was looking for in the tile pattern for the shower and the flooring (porcelain planking). We had great communication regarding each step of the process including placement of the niche, the type of shower doors and the removal of the furr-down, installation of a free standing vanity, new light fixture and fan and new commode. The guest bath looks like something right out of a spa. We did have a problem with the original copper tubing in that bath. Scott's plumber Chris did an excellent job correcting the error that was made back when the house was built and the slab poured got me back up to speed and nice new valves. The master bath required a custom counter that turned out beautifully and to my specifications after a conversation with Scott about what I wanted. I was really tough on Scott's assistant Kevin regarding the floor tile. I wanted to make sure I didn't see any obvious repeated planks. Kevin really listened and did an amazing job getting them completely mixed up. It might seem easy but I've done it and it really does take a bit of doing. People have stopped in and said it looks like a real wood floor. I ordered an American Standard tub from online. It turns out it wasn't just a tub but a 'bathing pool'... who knew. Anyway the plumbing was different than a regular tub unexpected hitch #437. I had them install the same 4"x8" subway tile with cornice pieces and pencil trim in this bath. The detail along the edge of the tub is just beautiful. There was a tiny leak in the water line that ended up leaking to the carpet in the bedroom. Scott could easily have just put a fan on it but he did it the correct way and tarped the room, pulled up the carpet, ran one of those weird fans, replaced the damaged pad and stretched the carpet. (not to mention moving furniture including my embarrassingly dusty books out of the bookcase.. and knick knacks... tons and tons of knick knacks) I trust him completely to do not only a competent job but an EXCELLENT job. His attention to detail with the trim in the guest bath, is eye for design with the color of the vanity stain in the master and his professional manner in dealing with those things that just don't go the way you expect was way above my expectations. I also want to mention that Scott was just wonderful about communicating with me whether by text, email or phone calls. He was prompt at responding to me and great about keeping me in the loop about what was happening or what would be happening. Seriously I couldn't be happier. This process cost a good chunk of change but it was absolutely worth it

Sal Love is terrific! I highly recommend this guy. He was prompt about returning calls, very professional, very fair and pleasant to deal with, and - best of all - his work is wonderful. he was able to salvage a badly damaged walls and make them look as perfect as walls can look. He gave us excellent advice about kinds of paint to buy and how to managed the rest of our bathroom renovation - which as gone not very smoothly. We intent to do the other bathroom next and I've already told Sal I want him to do the work. Great guy, too! Totally trustworthy, reliable, hard working
My house is built mid-50's, only 1 bathroom. The water line going to the shower inside the wall was rusted and had been leaking for some time, causing the bottom floor plate of the frame of my house to rot out and most of the structure around it also. You could see outside into my yard from the bathroom wall. This led me to opt for a complete bathroom remodel. It took a total of 5 working days to complete the job. Prior to getting started, I met with Rudy Paiz, the owner of the company. He personally looked at my house and provided me with a quote. He met me at a tile store so I could give him an idea of the colors and border that I was interested in. I put my trust in Rudy to take my ideas and choose a tile combination that I might like. I must say, he hit the nail on the head. The finished bathroom is absolutely gorgeous! Here's how it went..... Days 1 & 2 consisted of removing the entire bathroom, all tile, tub, toilet, sink and shower walls. The workers cut out and replaced all the plumbing lines & fixtures. They replaced the damaged wood framing of the house and also reinforced the wall studs where they felt it needed to be done. New insulation was put up and a new tub was put into place. Jose was the plumber/worker and also his son-in-law doing this. Then they put up the backing for the tile, hardy board I think, and new sheetrock on the rest of the wall. On day 3, Carlos came in and tiled the entire shower, all the way to the ceiling. He also laid all new floor tile. On day 4, Jose & his son-in-law came back to do all the grouting. They installed the toilet, sink and shower fixtures/faucets. On the 5th & final day, Enrique showed up. He's the finishing man and jack of all trades. In one day, he cleaned up all the grout and rough edges and made the tile "smooth." Then he put primer on the ceiling and walls of the bathroom. He hand designed a "Venetian" patterned texture and painted it. He caulked everyplace where caulking was needed. Now, where every tile meets the wall, it's clean. Where the pained wall meets the newly installed trim, it's clean. On the corner wall where the tile ends and the sheetrock begins, he made a smooth transition of texture & grout. Everything has a "clean," fresh new look. The owner of the company, Rudy Paiz, was in contact with me the entire time and came over to check out the progress twice. HIs guys laid down paper & tarp flooring so as to minimize tracking debris through the house. They removed items from the bathroom and cleaned up as they went. Rudy's workers were professional and didn't waste any time getting things done at all. Never once did I catch any of them goofing off. They were all about getting the job done. Money well spent. I have other home repair projects in line to be done and Rudy will be the first person I call to come look and give me an estimate. Rudy is the kind of business owner who gets involved with the customer personally from start to finish. This is the kind of company I would be happy spend money with and employ to do my other home repairs
In August, we signed with Rx to have a bathroom remodel. They started on time, finished on schedule and budget, kept us informed all along, and the completed bathroom looked great. It was so great in fact that we re-hired them to do another bathroom immediately after in September. That bathroom looks great too
Remodel went great. Our kitchen remodel make our older home feel brand new. The crew worked around the clock. Very mindful of the noise when I was working from home over Covid.
Huey did amazing work. Old shower converted into linen storage. New drywall and texturing perfectly matched existing walls. Immaculate cleanup. Very careful with materials and tools not to damage other areas in house. Returned initial call quickly and was flexible about work to be done.
Installed new master shower, sinks, countertop, tile and fixtures. Installed new kitchen sink, and replaced fixtures in the rest of the house. alerted us to some plumbing problems we were unaware of in course of performing other work and quoted very reasonable price for all work. Very honest and hardworking folks - would use them for any future work in a heartbeat
They did an amazing job converting our garage into a home office/guest room. They are professional, affordable, and provide excellent customer service! I highly recommend them!
It went great! The project lasted longer than expected, but I was in no rush to get it done. ACS Home Remodeling had amazing communication and reliability. They got the job done at a great price and I will definitely be hiring them for my next bathroom remodel. Thank you!
Allan (AC CornerStone) was prompt in responding to my inquiry with a visual assessment and estimate. Work was started promptly and completed within the time allowed. Allan and Stewart were professional in all areas of the job; dialogue was open for suggestions and thoughts. Allan and Stewart were very trustworthy and honestI will definitely use AC Cornerstone again, in fact I am. The second bathroom is pending to be completed soon. I would HIGHLY recommend AC Cornerstone - exceptional work and work ethic
All around professional. From the quote to the install could not have asked for more. Jason, Chelsea, Andre and his crew nicest people to work with. The best part was I never had to chase them down to see what the next step was, they kept in constant contact. The only place I would EVER have my countertops done by. I refer them to everyone I know. You will not be disappointed
I have worked with Joe on numerous projects and his renderings are exceptional. He is very responsive and takes care of any needed revisions without any hassle!
I absolutely LOVE this company. Andrew and his crew are the best! I will use them for all of our future projects / remodels. I couldn't be happier with them.
Could not be more pleased. They gutted the old bathroom, removed walls, removed the old floor tile, built a new shower, installed new tile on floor and walls, new sinks, new lighting. Installed new toilet, cabinets and countertops from Home Dept, new sinks from Trisupply.
Jack is incredible! Timely, professional, perfectionist, meticulous, thorough, conscientious... I can go on and on! His worker Yung was with him and the same applys to Yung as well. We cannot be happier! I was a nervous wreck going into this and not a single one of my fears came to life. Kitchen remodel here we come with WJP Renovation again of course

What do customers in Austin say about Remodel Bathroom?
Roi and Avi with Together Design & Build are amazing. We had them renovate all our bathrooms and could not be happier with the results. During a time when lead times are months out, they were able to complete our project well ahead of schedule. They were knowledgeable and provided great recommendations for the vision of our renovation. We compared them with several other bids and they were competitive without sacrificing quality and efficiency. Even all the workers and sub-contractors praised their business practices which says a lot about their integrity. We would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone looking to remodel part or all of their home. Thanks Roi and Avi!
