Centex Foundation Repair
This has been a challenging review for me to write and "rate." As you can see, I am completely satisfied - overall. And, in all fairness, from the first phone call made to the folks at CenTex House Leveling, to the final review of the report, my husband and I were treated with friendly professionalism. The plan for the repair was discussed with us ahead of time and the estimate was reviewed all with the intention of making sure we had proper expectations set. All of this was fantastic and I felt great that I could trust everything that was being said to me, as I know nothing about foundation damage or repair. I gave my overall rating as a 'C' because while the expectation was properly set and I knew that my house was going to have 17 deep holes dug around it, I did not realize that my fresh, healthy rosemary bushes in the front flower bed of my house were going to be destroyed and then put back together so poorly that the entire front flower bed of my home looked like a pile of mulch. Which has now cost me additional money to replace. Additionally, the proper expectation was set that there was going to be backfilling done to create positive drainage, but what I did not realize was that the backfill was going to be placed so sloppily against the house that it was going to require me to have to pay to have my house pressure washed because of the stains on the stone, again costing me additional money. In summary, I truly feel that CenTex House Leveling is a professional, efficient and friendly company that employs folks who really know how to level homes and repair foundations. I just wish they would implement the "put things back the way you found them" philosophy. Otherwise, I would have been far more pleased with them, overall

Had a 3" Grade Difference between High and Low Corners. Installed 8 Piers on the NE Corner of House. Pricing was pretty high, but I believed in the product as it was sold to me. They've been in business for quite some time and will likely be for the foreseeable future. With a lifetime transferrable warranty I think I made a good choice

I think that they were actually the only ones that hangout and gave me an estimate and I had search on the internet with Angie's list trying to get an idea what it looks to be cost me and I don't think it was all because anybody had told me anything about them but I even called anybody but I'm pretty sure nobody else came out and gave me a quote. Thinking that they actually did not happen to put in another water to pierce and he did not increase the price, he's stuck with the quote that he had given me so just stuck with this even though there was a little bit more work. The price is not that bad either. I would use them again in the future

Overall I am very pleased with the foundation service performed by Mr. Bruecher. We had one side of our house lifted 1.5", and while other quotes we received noticed approximately the same issues and quoted around the same price, Bruecher also noticed that our chimney was leaning away from our house and we are so glad he did. The experience of getting the project scheduled was a little tough, and the receptionist was all-business and no warmth, but the project was scheduled and completed on time and sooner than we were getting scheduling quotes from when asking other companies. The reason our foundation was dropped was water running beside our house from rain runoff, and we selected Bruecher because they also offer irrigation / water flow services. They cut a swale into our front yard and laid sod down so it would look good. Overall I'm very happy with the services for the price we paid, and i feel confident that they will stand the test of time, especially with the 30 year guarantee. I would recommend this company to other buyers

We had a 600 SF addition to the house that had broke away from the original house foundation. They were not the cheapest but I feel like it was worth the extra cost to get it fixed correctly. Very responsive and explained the entire process and the limitations. They moved furniture and cleaned up after themselves inside and out. Very professional

A seperate structural engineer's report stated that I needed 23 piers under my foundation in order to stop the movement, stop the sticking doors and to stop the stress cracks in the concrete floor and walls. I hired Perma-Pier based upon a recomendation from a friend. I was told the operation would take 2 days. The first day Oscar and his crew (I didn't count them, but there were at least five or six men) arrived at the appointed time of 8:30, dug the holes for the piers and worked until approximately 4 pm. Some plants were removed, but were protected for replanting when they finished. The second day the piers were installed, plants were returned to their original place, all excess dirt was used to increase the slope around the house for proper drainage, and any debris was taken away. I was extremely impressed at how effecient Oscar and his crew were and how clean they left the property. On day 3, Perma-Pier sent a plumber to test for water and sewer leaks. There were none. A few days later Perma-Pier had the same structural engineer that I used come back to re-evaluate the foundation. The engineer issued a report saying the work had been completed according to the engineers original report

From the start, Neale van Streepen and his team were on time, on budget, and provided a first class service for the project we needed completing. Their skilled personnel were courteous, knowledgable and and true reflection of a well run organization. We now have a product that will not only last another 30+ years at least, but it looks great, and is safe for all to use again. Thank-you CRC for a fantastic experience. All personnel were good humored and great to work with. This work is very labor intensive and required moving out most of the home furnishings for about eight weeks. Holes were drilled with big equipment, concrete was poured and set, all in preparation for actual leveling. The crew knew where to set the jacks and how to position the support piers, as confirmed by an independent engineer I engaged to give me peace of mind when spending so much money. Now that the job is finished, the floor is level, doors and windows work, and I am completely satisfied. Like most companies who repair foundations, Capital provides a warranty but as I ask my neighbors -- do you really want the crew to have to come back? I don't expect to ever need any more foundation work, come drought or high water
