It went just fine. The sales representative that I had was extremely helpful with all of my questions and concerns. I think that was extremely important to me because I just gotten a new puppy.

It has been a really good experience. My dog wears a collar that has a battery in it and after time they send me new batteries. The invisible fence has been working just fine. I can reach the company by phone or email. They are very accessible.

Invisible Fence - Austin

The Invisible fence process is pretty smooth. Practiced, and experienced gal came out and explained the service, measured the property and walked it with me, wrote up a quote and signed an agreement. A few days later another technician came and reviewed the diagram with me and flagged the yard. The next crew came and installed. Soup to nuts was about a week and 2000$. The guys who installed trained both our dogs. There were a few return visits to train the dogs and that was about it

Allied Fence Co
3.0
We had Allied Fence Co out in Feb to replace our aged wooden privacy fence. The original salesman that came to bid the job gave us one quote. Later we received an email with different numbers and after a few emails back and forth, he was still reporting a different price. Then after all the work was done, we receive a bill with yet another different price. It was all within the range we were looking to pay, so not that huge of a deal, but very confusing none the less. So, attached to this fence we have Invisible Fence wires. Throughout the entire dealings with several salesmen and the job foreman, I was very clear that I would deal with removal and replacing the Invisible Fence wiring if they weren't familiar with it. 3 different men all assured me on different occasions that they were very familiar with it, and not to worry, they would take care of everything. The charged me an additional $1/ft for the added labor that I agreed to. They tore down and replaced the fence, which went fantastic. Very professional, prompt, clean. They were very careful to not even leave a nail behind on the ground. The materials appear to be nice and thick quality cedar and the fence looks fantastic. We are very pleased with the fence portion of the work. The taking down and "replacement" of the Invisible Fence wiring was awful though. I saw the workmen on several occasions yanking the wiring and they did an absolutely horrible job of "replacing" the wiring. I have several pictures of the outcome and no one would agree that it is replaced correctly, even knowing nothing of how it's supposed to be. I immediately contacted Allied and was told there was absolutely nothing they could or were willing to do. That Invisible Fence is not in their line of work and the workmen could not be expected to know how to deal with it (it was simply stapled along the upper and lower braces of the fence). She was completely unwilling to help resolve the situation. So, I'm thrilled with the actual fence replacement, but very disappointed in the lies that were told on 3 separate occasions that they were familiar with and could easily handle the extra task. Never should they have promised something they had no intention of delivering. So now I'm faced with repairs at $100/hr. Buyer beware, for the fence they are great, but do not have them do anything extra and make sure to firm up the quote!

A big chunk of our back fence was blown down by a recent windstorm. Mason was able to give me a prompt estimate, which included fixing the piece that had fallen, as well as replacing some existing posts (so the rest wouldn't blow down next time). He fit us in as quickly as possible, given that unseasonably rainy weather was slowing him down. He and his crew were very professional, and made excellent recommendations to maximize the life of our fence. They were also careful not damage our Invisible Fence wire

I knew that the original offer wouldn't cover what was necessary to shore up my fence. The folks were professional and timely. They gave me a quote for the additional work, which was fair and they did a very good job. They even accidentally cut into my wireless dog fence. After I notified them, they found the break and repaired it. I was very satisfied with the work they did
I really liked the staff. I think they are a little more pricey compared to other people but they actually do training sessions with the dogs. They come out once a week for an hour or an hour and a half and they work with you and the dog, and then they give you homework and come back the next week. I think it was four weeks of training and then the dogs can be let out. They were supposed to bring us a collar of a certain color but they never did
Allied Fence had installed gates for us four years ago and did a great job. However, the hinges started locking up and the latches weren't working correctly anymore. I called them to get bids on fixing a few things including possibly straightening a few bent pickets. The original repair bid they sent me was a whopping $2110.00 while the original cost of installing a drive gate and a walk through gate was $2001.00 just four years ago. I scaled down the scope of repairs to just replacing the latches and hinges and they came down to $977.00 while they had let me know that the cost of the new hardware was around $180.00 in an earlier bid. I was disappointed that they wouldn't be more willing to do more affordable repairs for previous customers. Obviously I didn't proceed with the repair work

What do customers in Austin say about Invisible Fence Installation?
they were prompt and courteous. I received an estimate in the morning and they were able to install the fence in the afternoon. my only complaint would be that the install tech did not thoroughly bury all of the cable, so I had to walk around the perimeter afterwards to close/cover the holes where the trencher buried the cable.
