We bought a house earlier in the year built in 1993 that came with a Kenmore single tank water softener. I suspected it wasn't working because the digital display always showed 0 (zero) average gallons. I called other water conditioning companies and I was told the same thing - "we only work on water softeners that we installed". Tommy Dorsey is the only water conditioning company in the area that will service all water softeners, regardless of manufacturer and installer. Tommy was able to fix the problem and return my water softener back to working condition

The installer was very courteous and professional and let me know exactly when and for how long my water would be turned off. In addition, they carted away the old softener. The new softener was filled with potassium chloride as requested. My water is now very soft and I no longer am getting hard water stains. The drinking water system provides delicious water that tastes like bottled water

American Water carries the Kinetico water softener. Although it's not the cheapest, it's one of the best on the market and for the deal we got, we were able to include a whole house water softener. Installation was straight forward since our house already had a connection in the garage. The Kinetico water softener is very efficient, uses no power and uses very little salt. It's so efficient that you can drink tap water and use the water for plants. American Water keeps tabs on your service check the function any time you need to confirm everything is working to spec. We are very happy with their service and their product

Once again, Brittain came to the rescue! Our water softener had been moved and improperly reinstalled by a general contractor working on a remodel project. This improper reinstallation caused the water softener to drain water into the garage rather than down the appropriate drain pipe. Brittain came within 2 hours of my call. Their plumber was knowledgeable, professional and fixed the problem. The water softener has been working great ever since! I would definitely call them again, should the need arise

This has proven to me to be one of the most efficient and trustworthy companies we have dealt with in San Antonio. Received quotes from several companies and one company had the gall to hide their sales pitch as a paid for "inspection". This was a rip off. Alamo Water Softeners and I discussed our water issues and decided on a new softener with the addition of a carbon filter as part of the softener. Had previously used reverse osmosis system for refrigerator and coffee making because of the impurities in our water but that got old and had to buy bottled drinking water. With this new system all that is all gone fortunately. The water leaves no residue when boiled for coffee which satisfies us. There was a small glitch as the new softener was recharging at the incorrect time and I really wanted the company to complete the system and have everything working properly. Called the office to have someone come to see what the problem was. The owner actually came to our house that very day and resolved the issue which was a small issue. Today, 7/8, the owners son came to the house and did water checks to ensure everything is operating OK. The company called us and scheduled this inspection to insure everything was working OK. Water numbers were great and we are totally satisfied. This company understands customer satisfaction and is also very timely. I would wholeheartedly recommend them. Please don't pay some company to come to you house to "check out" your water. It is a sales pitch that costs you $$

The plumbing technician arrived on time, was courteous and sociable, completed the work in a timely manner, cleaned up, and charged a reasonable amount. He also took time to look in the garage and see if I had a loop for a water softener! I will definitely use Clarke Kent Plumbing again
