We set up an appointment on Angie's list for today starting from 7:30AM more than a week ago. The handyman was supposed to be here between 7:30 and 8, but it is over 8:45 now, and no one came, nobody called. I tried to call the company, but was redirected to the voice mail immediately.

Texas shower company neglected to spec my project correctly, then abruptly abandoned the aforementioned line item, instead of making it right, without giving any cogent reason, let alone an apology, instead trying to blame me. I was calling around all afternoon to find a company to do this work. The plumbers said HVAC could help me. Other HVAC companies told me to call kitchen venting cleaners. I finally was lucky to talk to Wes at Airco. He explained that capping the downdraft vent pipe was a very easy job that would be cheaper for me to do myself. I appreciated his honesty rather than getting the usual run around. I will definitely call them again for any future needs

This was a $199 big deal purchase. That one was interesting so I didn't bother to write a review. Maybe that day I had purchased range hooks for instillation and then of course it was like a six hour package I was hoping, Cause I read online that it shouldn't take more than couple hours but he ended up taking pretty much the entire time. And what happened was it was just a really long day and a lot of things went wrong. He actually dropped the range hood because it was kind of heavy. It got kind of awkward because I was the only other person home at the time. After he dropped my brand new range hood, he broke a glass vase next to it. It was just a huge mess. I know it was a long day for him and he was doing the best he could. He ended up staying an hour extra kind of like as his apology to me to do a couple other small stuff. But he still wasn't able to finish a couple of my requests. He tried and he wasn't able to and we had to finish it ourselves later. But he was being sincere and he was very pleasant and professional -- it's just a bad day

The project was well coordinated from the start. John Keenan did the estimate with details and accuracy with precise measurement and steps with pictures. John also knows the workflow well, so we know what to expect. Ryan, the project supervisor did a good job in coordinate the timeline and people to come to do the work. Reggie Patterson, the master plumber did an excellent and efficient job in coming punctually and getting the job done. Chris, the tile installer is the do-it-all and fix-it-all kind of guy. We had a challenge in getting a small passage through the wall in hooking up the range hood exhaust to vent out. Chris and Ryan offered the solution and did not disappoint us in getting it done. Overall, I am pleased with the work Statewide Remodeling has done and I found them doing the job very professionally and I am happy to recommend them to anyone

The work began on a Tuesday and was finished by Friday, a day earlier than anticipated. I met Mark, the contractor and John, the carpenter, at my Mom's. They were early every day but one and that was due to having to go pick up supplies. They got the cabinets torn out the first day, prepped the walls and picked up the cabinets the second day. The ceiling repair drywall was done and the fan and switch installed. The third day the cabinets were installed. There was a glitch as far as a couple of the cabinets and how the range hood was to be re-installed due to trying to replace custom cabinets with off the shelf cabinets, but it was figured out quickly. The ceilng repair texture was applied and it so closely matched that no painting was needed and I couldn't tell the difference between the patch and the rest of the ceiling. The cabinets were painted Friday and the hood re-installed. John re-hung the bifold doors in my mother's closet for me at no charge

When we purchased our home in June, it did not include a microwave oven. When we finally purchased one we needed someone that would be able to install the microwave, along with putting in an outlet. Pete was able to do both and did it well. I will be looking for someone to so some other renovations around our house and will be calling upon Pete again

it was great! i'm so happy to have a working microwave again! victor was available the day after i called him (big plus). i was referred to him by a neighbor on "nextdoor" online. the new microwave had already been delivered to my home by the retailer. victor arrived promptly at the appointed time, on a saturday (another plus). there were a couple of glitches with installation which took more time, so i paid victor more than we initially talked about. he also hauled away the old microwave for me (another plus). he was very personable, knowledgeable, and respectful. i would gladly hire him again! but, to call victor simply a handyman is not enough. he does electrical, heating & air, plumbing, remodeling, and appliances. he said that he has 35 years of experience. and, i could tell that he enjoyed his work. i'm grateful to have found him

I recently purchased a home and booked the handyman for the day after closing to do the items that had come up on the inspection list. Scheduling by phone was easy, handyman was prompt. The handyman was very helpful and was really a jack of all trades who did quality work- he did everything from adjusting sprinkler heads to installing a blind over a bathroom window (that ended up needing to be custom cut). He did caulking, installing a ceiling fan (which is perfect!), fixing doors, etc. I would definitely use them again- I felt like price was very good and jobs were done right the first time. They were reliable, polite, and did things right

They were called 1st Plumbing Services. I found them through Next Door, a neighborhood web site. It's local, close to me. They had to bring my water heater up off the floor so it would meet code. They were here about five months ago like November of 2016. It was in the neighborhood of $20000. They did really good work. The work was good. I was kind of upset because I was in a bind, I have an elderly mother and my hot water went out and so they gave me a quote, this was my own fault though, I feel that the price of the water heater was a little high. I could have probably went to Home Depot, bought a cheaper one, just as good and had it installed but the work itself was good and so was their response time and everything. It looks like it's a really good water heater. There was one worker who came out to complete the work. It didn't take that long for the work to be completed. It was probably a couple of hours. Everything they did was good, like he had to raise where the water heater sat and plumbing work and he put a little thing to make sure that, it's like an alert system feature that I know the water heater system is working

I had already purchased a new replacement Proline vent fan hood on the internet, and simply needed to replace the old vent fan hood with a better working model. Proline had a new interesting model, with a much stronger venting capability, plus the older model had stopped working. The replacement job took about an hour and a half, and everything went smoothly. The new range hood works great!
