Absolute joke of a company. Dusty came over to give me an estimate on some fencing for a gate and pool fencing. Did some quick measurements and told me he would have it to me Monday or Tuesday. Never received an estimate as promised. Sent an email through his website contact form Wednesday morning and never got a response. Finally had to call him Wednesday around 3pm and knew in my gut any that time you have to chase a contractor for business, it is not a smart move. But, I did it anyway and lo and behold the call did not go well. I told Dusty who I was and that he came over Saturday and was going to get me an estimate by Monday or Tuesday. He responded "well haven't got to that yet, I'll get it to you by tomorrow end of the day". So now Monday-Tuesday turned into Thursday end of day. I said what happened to Monday Tuesday and he said well if you're going to have an attitude find someone else, I don't need your business. Needless to say the call escalated from there. My recommendation don't waste your time with this guy, he is one of those guys who feels that just because he runs his own business he can tell off who he wants and doesn't value customers or keeping his word. I know because he told me so, "that's the luxury of running my own business I don't need a@@holes like you". Best of luck with Dusty, he's a real smart businessman

Todd and his crew were very responsive and do a great job. Looks terrific! I really appreciate that Todd arrived on time to do the estimate and then the crew arrived and completed the work as promised/scheduled. Would recommend to anyone who needs reliable and professional work done on pool fencing.

This was an excellent contractor to work with. The cost of cypress is really high, but it lasts a long time. They outbid a few others, so their prices were very reasonable. Kevin from Classic Cottages was an expert craftsman. The quality of work was outstanding and we appreciated his attention to detail

CENTRAL TEXAS DECK & FENCE RESTORATION

Their quote was the most reasonable, and I liked the owner. Realizing the job was small, I was willing to wait, but if they do not show up or even call back, I cannot justify attempting to work with them again. He should have been honest and said he could not schedule the job. I received a quote from several providers, last fall. I finally decided to start the project and work with this fencing company. When I was ready to do the work in January, I called them back to schedule. I tried calling 3 different times each at the beginning of the week, January through March. Each time I spoke to him, after telling him I already talked with you, and would like to actually get the work done by your company even saying I was willing to wait until they could work me in, he said, "We will be in your area this week, and will stop by or call you to work you in at the end of the week." I never received a call from him and I did not seem him again after the initial quote. After months waiting, I have given up and will not even bother to call again

Completed job but used cheap wood that started to split within a year. They replaced five pickets refused to replace any more because they said they only offer a one year warranty. However my saved email with quote shows a two year Warranty. I emailed them pictures of fence and they said they would come and have a look bur refused to answer texts and emails after failure to show up

Not supervision of crew. Phone calls only. Fence was to have 3 stringers crew was installing 2 had to be fixed. Fence kept going up and down and I wanted it level at the top. All issues could have been avoided with a visit from supervisor. When done told him I had one bad plank and one that was splitting. Terry said he would be by to look at it the next week. I don't think he has ever come by. Actual fence looks great but if I hadn't been there all day I am not sure it would have ended up that wa

The Fencing they replaced was a good job. Tree stumps were cut and new posts were installed. Good attention to detail. There was some issue with trash left on the site and a wood gate was damaged. After consulting the company rep, these issues were corrected in a timely fashion and to my satisfaction

Apple Fence Company just build a fence for my back yard in Austin. From my initial contact with Israel W., estimating and selection, through building, and final work with Courtney at the office, all was handled in a timely and extremely competent and friendly way. The price was right in the middle of my total estimates, and I'm happy with the great job that the installers did. My experience with Apple Fence Company was top notch! Sincerely, Ji

It has been over a week and still I go outside sometimes for no other reason than to admire my new fence. It was a stressful fence to have built, for several reasons. After many years of boundary issues with the too-close neighbors, a fence was the obvious solution. But the neighbors didn’t want the fence. And it would be a front-yard fence, and though front-yard fences do exist in the neighborhood, they are not the rule. And there is a long flower box (a previous attempt at boundary definition) that runs almost the length of the yard where the fence would be. Several fence companies came out to look at the situation and give estimates. Most companies wanted to do away with the flower box altogether. It was a 28-foot fence, and some companies wanted a “minimum fee” for a small project. Then Randy Deighton from BC Fence came out, sized up the situation and saw several options for building the fence while saving the flower box, even though by that point I was resigned to giving it up. He also suggested that I get the boundary surveyed, given the tensions with the neighbors. So, I got the survey (which turned out to be a wise move) and Randy came out the second time to talk over different designs. And at that point a new difficulty was added when the neighbor leaned out his upstairs window and said nobody could step on his side of the boundary while building the fence. This embarrassed me, but Randy was unflappable. He came up with a plan to take the back timbers off the flower box, timbers held in place by long pieces of rebar driven into the ground. Then basically working from inside the flowerbox, they’d build the fence entirely from my side, jackhammering the postholes through the thick rock, everything. When it was finished, they’d put the flower box back together. Because it was a front-yard fence, it was important to me that it not be thought an eyesore by the neighborhood. I had a rough idea for a simple cedar fence, with latticework for the top foot, and capped off with a cedar top. I worried and tossed and turned at night and drove people at work crazy about that fence, afraid that when all was said and done and the fence was up, it would not look like it did in my imagination, that it would look crude and out of place in a front yard. On the appointed day, Randy came with Alphonso and his crew of two young men. Alphonso had been apprised of the neighbor situation, and the neighbor came out again to stress the stipulation that nobody could step across the boundary. Alphonso was as unflappable as Randy had been. The fence was up in a little more than half a day, and it was beautiful and perfect. It looks even better than it did in my imagination. Every detail and proportion is perfection. And it looks entirely natural, like it was meant to be there. The flower box was put back together, and though they’d had to stand inside the flowerbed while working, none of the plants were damaged. The work area was cleaned up of every dropped nail or piece of sawed wood. Even the sludge of dirt and rocks from the postholes was carted away in buckets. Throughout the building and the cleanup, this crew worked hard and fast and in such synchrony that it seemed they could read each other’s minds. The next day when Randy came to settle the bill, I was pointing out the detail, how perfect it all was. Randy told me then of how much thought went back and forth at the office as they worked out how to put it all together—the height of the lattice in relation to the pickets, toenailing the crossbars so that pickets and lattice would be flush, the width of the cedar strips that would frame the lattice, etc. Like any made object that ends up looking elegant and simple, the devil is in the detail. I’m proud of that fence. The adjectives you’d use for it would be lovely, elegant, natural, strong (the posts are buried deep and I think the fence would withstand a hurricane). I am still taken by the look of that fence when I drive up; I anticipate it as I turn the corner, and it still takes my breath away. Sometimes I drive in from the other end of the block just to see the handsome back side of it (and that side too has been a relief, because, in view of the troubles, I didn’t want to leave the neighbors with something ugly on their side). I will use BC Fence again without hesitation. They built me a fence that not only serves its purpose of defining the boundary, but also adds to the appearance of my yard, and adds as well something lovely to the neighborhood. I am not exaggerating when I say it has the quality a work of art has, that thing that makes you want to just keep gazing at it. If you need something custom made, BC Fence will work with you to realize whatever idea it is you have, they’ll give you an estimate and stick to it, they'll figure out how to work around any difficult contingencies, they’ll get there timely and work efficiently. And what you end up with will be the best of what you were seeing in your mind’s eye and a testament to the pride that company takes in its work. I was surprised and impressed at the level of engagement and commitment shown in this—for them—small project. Janice Pinney, Round Rock T

Did a great job very professional work installing fence. Home Depot did a follow up after completed to make sure we was satisfied with work.
Excellent result. Lariat F&C showed up when promised and did quality work in a reasonable timeframe. I am very happy with the fence and I have received several comments from neighbors regarding the quality of the fence.
I have several Trion 250 electronic air purifier consoles, which are now obsolete and for which few parts are available. When the motor on one unit suddenly ceased working -- these units are made to run continuously, 24/7 -- I consulted Angie's List and put in a call to Quality Handyman Services. Owner Steve Lee answered the phone and gave me hope that repair was at least a possibility. He made time to come himself and assess the situation, at my early convenience. Steve arrived on time and first confirmed the problem. He then disassembled the unit, examining each component with care. He soon enough discovered that a plastic-like bushing in proximity to the motor had disintegrated, probably due to age and, continuing his investigation, pulled the motor where he discovered fragments of the bushing had lodged amongst the ball bearings. Yipes! Knowing the replacement parts difficulty, he then carefully removed the offending fragments, lubricated thoroughly, and neatly reassembled the console. My electronic air cleaner immediately began working perfectly! I am thoroughly pleased, and the cost savings are especially appreciated
They are prompt, professional, provide quality work and on schedule. I am planning to have them work on my newest airport project for the same fencing and some gates.

We are very pleased with the beautiful newly renovated pool fence. Everyone was courteous, friendly and hard working. They tried very hard to accommodate our specifications. We recommend them highly and would hire them again.
They were the best price as bid. Both the estimator and installation crew arrived on time, were pleasant and professional. The y got to work and continued steadily for the 5 1/2 hour installation minus a 20 minute break at the midway point. The fit and finish were excellent and they added "dog tabs" at the bottom of the gates to keep my large dogs from pushing through and damaging the gate. The material was good sturdy bar stock, the bar welds were smooth and even as were the onsite securing welds. A very special thanks to Art and his helper. They were pleasant, professional and efficient. I would hire DCS again and I strongly recommend them for your pool barrier needs

They were relatively a low bidder but they used the highest material in their work. They put the fence up in very horrible weather. They were very friendly with my dogs. In a few months a storm blew a couple of planks down and they came out and repaired them free of charge. They replaced some planks that my dogs had chewed up without asking free of charge as well

Far better than expected. The crew was the most efficient, professional, organized contract team I've ever seen. Almost 700 ft of fence demo'ed and rebuilt over 4 days. Truly phenomenal to watch them work. I highly recommend Pflugerville Pfence.
