I met with a representative from Jericho on 11/14 to discuss a facelift for our kitchen. We asked for a preliminary design and estimate to replace our island (including sink, dishwasher and garbage disposal), put in new perimeter countertops, replace the backsplash and upgrade our under-cabinet lighting and electrical. The representative offered many possibilities and told us he would get a proposal together for our review in 10 days or so. I scheduled a follow-up meeting with their office for 11/29. On that evening, I got a call from the office informing me that the representative was having car trouble; we rescheduled the appointment for 12/1. When we met on that evening, it became apparent that there were no car troubles--he had still been out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday. I would have been happy to reschedule our initial follow-up appointment for that reason but I didn't appreciate not being told the truth and having the appointment cancelled at the last minute. To make matters worse, he did not have a proposal for us to review, only a total dollar figure with a promise that it would be reduced via discounts, coupons or what-have-you and that we would receive the detailed proposal via email by the following Monday (12/5). That never happened and I heard nothing from Jericho until after the holidays by which time we had moved on to other resources. I have no idea where the disconnect happened or why but I was very disappointed by our experience with Jericho

Alter Construction
I contacted Alter construction to do my kitchen remodeling. Eli came the next day! He was super professional, explained everything in extreme details, what will be happening in all the stages of the remodeling. He also went with us to the countertop shop to help us to choose the right design! The communication during the entire work was impeccable! He was coming everyday to check the work and to let us know what will be the done in the next day! I highly recommending Alter construction

This project went better than we could have hoped. AGC are the opposite of what most people think about contractors. They provided a fair estimate that reflected precisely what we wanted, they made useful suggestions, treated us respectfully, were honest about needed or changes/costs to initial plans, communicated continuously (and had people on site every day to update us), did excellent work, and best of all they finished on schedule. I would happily recommend them and will definitely use them again

Chris Duncanson is terrific. He was very conscientious about answering questions and returning phone calls and texts. The price was reasonable. The quality of the work was outstanding. The work was finished in a timely manner - exactly when he estimated it would be done. Everybody who's seen the work in the kitchen is blown away. Just out of the goodness of his heart, he helped me with another repair that had nothing to do with the kitchen remodeling. Chris was amazing. I was originally planning to do flat pack cabinets, but we talked it through and he built beautiful custom cabinets that I absolutely love for nearly the same price. I went in with drawings of what I wanted and he created a fabulous kitchen for us. I was able to get some creative customized cabinets to maximize our space that I never would have been able to find. Chris was very responsive and helpful with my many questions. He stayed on budget and on his quoted time frame. His crew was also great. We were living in the house while the remodel was going on - there was very little mess or dust across the house. They cleaned up every day and were polite and friendly. We are so happy with our new kitchen

Shaked and his crew at Teamwork home designs did an excellent job with our whole home remodel! Shaked was patient and easy to work with right from the beginning. As the scope of our project evolved he was patient with the revisions to the bid and never made me feel rushed or pressured in anyway. I was nervous about living at our house once demo and the full remodel began, but Shaked’s in-house crew made it SO easy to live through. They were respectful of our time and space and kept things as clean as possible throughout. Every day they'd clean up and haul off what they could, organized tools to be out of the way, vacuumed, and otherwise made all appropriate accommodations so we could have a nice evening. Then they'd do it all again the next day. Ha! Shaked was great at communicating scope and bid changes throughout the process. He knew we were trying to get the most bang for our buck through the whole thing and helped us where he could with his vast array of industry knowledge. When it came time to pay the final invoice, there were no unexpected surprises because Shaked was great at relaying costing throughout. Super appreciative of that! Thanks I'm thrilled with the remodel, I love my new home. Big big thanks to Shaked and the crew for absolutely crushing it

Pedro and Dee made a quick trip out to review the work, and provided a reasonable estimate within minutes of leaving the house, scheduling the work for the next day, and the following if it couldn't be completed. Pedro and his assistant were on-time and brisk, finishing off all these repairs in 3+ hours, professional, high quality. They made sure to check to ensure we were happy with progress and the final product

He does amazing amazing amazing work!!!! It is just very nicely done. Very very nice. I cannot say enough good things . He's easy to work with as well. The installation looks fabulous. I've attached pictures so you can see the fabulous detail of his work. Look at those grout lines. Note that the un-tiled portion of the walls are not yet done, so keep that in mind when you look at the photos
