Rosario came out personally to do the estimate for concrete slab in the back yard. His estimate was $4,000 less than next best estimate. I hired him because of reviews & comments on Angie's List, which turned out to be completely accurate. He's a very nice guy & very professional. He looked over project & made good suggestions. We had to allow for water drainage by gently sloping concrete and installing two 6" drains, which continue. They checked and rechecked slope to make sure it was perfect. His crew was on time and cleaned up after themselves everyday. They were professional and always very polite. Rosario spent a lot of time on the site and made sure everything stayed on schedule. Project looks great. We are very pleased. It went 99% perfect. The only hiccup came at the very end. The two drains are recessed into the concrete. One of the drain covers fits perfectly so top of cover is same level as concrete. The other cover does not quite fit all the way down, sticks up a little. One of his crew came back out to fix it, but he could not do it. Then Rosario came out & it still looks the same. I'm confident he'll resolve this issue, but I'll update later if not.

The price was very cheap compared to other concrete pourers, but it took a little longer because they do not own thier own equipment, which is why they are less expensive. Overall they were not that good.

I had a couple other estimates before which were just absurd. I had other companies just flat out lie to me. One guy showed up drunk. So by those standards, Pro-choice is a whole different league and highly recommended. And I am quite satisfied with both the quality of the work and the price. So me remaining comments are more nit picky and i would still recommend them. They responded promptly when I requested an appraisal, offered a very good price, and scheduled the work a few weeks out for my convenience. The only real problem was on the day they were supposed to show, they just simply forgot about it LOL. But they came the next day and as I said, I'm happy with the result.

The project went smoothly from start to finish. My original estimate was only to pour the concrete sidewalks and footer, but after they started working, we extended the scope of the work to include the brick edging, stump removal and yard grading. They did a great job and worked every day until the job was complete.

Charlie from Pro-crete gave me an estimate on pouring an 11' x 11' pad on which to put a hot tub. His estimate was 40`% less than the 3 other companies we contacted. We told them to proceed and agreed on a date. They called the day before and verified a time to arrive. They arrived on time and started to work. They completed the pour in a half day, left to do other work,a nd the finisher came back after a few hours and put the requested finish on the surface. They came back 4 days later on the agreed upon date and pulled the forms and cleaned the entire site. This has been a pleasure from beginning to end and I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

We were very pleased with the results. I was not present during the actual concrete pour and stamp but my resulting patio was exactly as I requested. It is more beautiful than the old paving stone patio and it is much easier to maintain.

Overall, we were very pleased with the work that Jon and his crew did. They painted the house fast but did a very nice job, including with clean-up. They were the lowest bid but we felt like we weren't getting any lower quality work. the only negative was that his crew painted some of the windows shut, but when I brought this to Jon's attention he addressed it promptly. Jon's crew also re-screened our back porch, poured a new concrete front porch, and did some other small jobs on the exterior, such as fixing some of the hardi siding that was broken. All work was done well. His crews were nice guys and easy to deal with. We felt comfortable having them in and around our home. I would definitely use him again.

We bought a home with a large patio that was covered in slate, which was unattractive and also got hot as hades in the summertime, and had a dangerously high step around the perimeter. I knew I wanted some kind of cover or pergola but wasn't really sure what, and was at a loss about a cost efficient way to deal with the slate. I must have called 10 deck and patio companies and the majority of them would not return estimates or were very unhelpful in coming up with a solution for me, or wanted to do a $25000 makeover. I found All Good here on Angie's List and was impressed with the variety of covers on the website. Mark arrived and immediately his mind began churning. He suggested that we pour 3 inches of concrete directly over the slate, and install an aluminum patio cover complete with three fans. He also gave me ideas for 'phase 2' of the project. The concrete guys were fast and professional and cleaned up after themselves. We absolutely loved Paul and Tracy, the husband and wife who installed our patio. Our children adored them. Paul went above and beyond, installing a new piece of wood on my door and a matching porch light on the garage and hooks for my plants. Tracy is a horticultural guru and gave me much advice about my yard, and they even pruned my lemon tree for me. Y'all, they brought us fresh eggs from their chickens! At the end of the job, they arranged the furniture back on the new patio and left it spic and span. Mark was very professional throughout the entire process and everything was done exactly according to plan. This was a lot of money for us, and therefore we were nervous that we would not be happy with the result. We are thrilled to say that it exceeded our expectations.

Recent Review: We used to have concrete mixed with stone and we wanted the decorative designs which was their specialty. The concrete pouring and design went extremely well, but the drainage system goes towards the house instead of away from it; this causes large puddles to form. I would not be so angry if we did not talk about it, but we did. I informed them of this problem before the job started and while work was in progress. After contacting them several times about this, with no results, we finally gave up. We will never hire them again.

Recent Review: Matt & his team expanded our small, square outdoor patio by pouring concrete, extending our roof line, and adding an outdoor kitchen. He gave great recommendations on materials and appliances based on our budget. I was able to show him a picture of a privacy screen I found on Houzz and his team was able to recreate it - it looks marvelous.

Recent Review: Great! I had the shed work done first and was so pleased with it that I moved ahead with house exterior project a month or two later. Ed worked with my financial schedule (getting bonus at certain time). He and his assistant, Emit, are both great. Ed did detailed walkthroughs with me before, including processing options in terms of paint colors/locations (turning 1970s three-tone color scheme into normal house with trim color....and making changes when I reconsidered). They did a thorough job of prepping the house, painting, touching up and touching up until it was perfect. They were always very professional and kept me up to date on when things would be done, if/why there were delays, etc. Best of all, they made friends with my very sensitive and skittish dog.

Recent Review: I am overjoyed with my experience with Brock and his staff! First of all, Brock returns your call. Second, he quickly turns around a written quote within a reasonable timeframe. Lastly, he gets the job done in the timeframe he says he will. He and I met a few times and negotiated the layout and price a few times before coming to a written agreement. While other contractors focused on pouring a boring rectangular-shaped pad, Brock took his time and helped me determine a layout that would ensure that we would find the space pleasing to the eye while tying in some other existing elements in the yard. His experience and eye for detail gave us a space that looks well planned and finished and at a price that was much lower than other contractors (and those quotes were for smaller, rectangular-shaped patios!) I would never have been as creative as he was with the space...I feel so fortunate to have benefited from his experience and passion for what he does! Brock maintained excellent communication with me throughout the process and he regularly visited the site to ensure his team was on track and moving along as planned. I can see why most contractors avoid curves in concrete...forming it was a painstaking process for his team. I must tip my hat to these guys, it's not for the faint of heart nor the inexperienced. What resulted was a beautiful space that my family is really enjoying and at a price that was fair. I look forward to working with him on the next phase of our backyard transformation! Hire Brock and his team if you want: 1) The benefit of the knowledge and wisdom of someone who truly knows and cares about his work. 2) someone who is responsive and thorough. 3) a price that others don't even come close to. 4) quality materials and work - they were meticulous in their work and used rebar before pouring. 4) a trusted professional.

Recent Review: The job went very well. They showed up around 7 a.m and had the old slab busted out in about 30 minutes. They set up the forms and were pouring concrete within a couple hours. The slab was completely finished and they were busting out the forms by 2 p.m. Chino was very professional and informative, he even gave us suggestions on some Do-It-Yourself projects we were working on. Chino also made sure to explain to us what was going on at every step. If there was anything he thought we might have a question about, he was sure to explain things to us thoroughly. Chino stayed on site with the crew throughout the whole project, which was nice in case we had any questions or issues.
